Great service from the Peterborough store. Given time to look in our own without hard sell techniques. After a while we were approached by David who explained the makeup of the mattress, demonstrated the ottoman element and showed us the different colours available and style of headboard. No hard sell just relevant information. David explained finance deals and current promotions to give us the best deal. Delivery date to suit us. An all round fantastic service.

A goood range of beds and a salesman who was helpful without being pushy.

Mislead a little. I knew what I wanted and the salesman was quick to take payment. Didn't explain anything other than the delivery date. Only when he gave me my paperwork did he tell me I had been charged £49 for delivery. Wish I had gone to Dreams, who would have been 10% cheaper and free delivery

Bed base bought in April manufactured by Slumberland, the base after a few months began to emit a terrible smell and the material that covered the wood became sticky to the touch. Bensons for Beds sent out a technician who then blamed me and my home! They will tell you that they have never had this issue before and refuse to refund or exchange. Maybe once a reputable company, sadly no more....

Terrible customer service! My Mother bought a Slumberland Divan Base in April 2025, after about 4 months the base material became sticky and smelled awful. Bensons for Beds will not accept that the base is faulty and have blamed my mothers property. My Mothers home has no mould, no damp and is extremely clean. If you buy an item from Bensons that is faulty they will do everything they can to hide from their responsibility. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!

I bought three Tempur pillows, but on reflection decided that I would be better with Soft, rather than Medium, stiffness. On returning them a few days after my purchase I was given replacements straight away. All now sorted for Christmas. Many thanks to the store salesman. (Not sure who to thank).

Well laid out store. Given good advice on what we needed to look for, then left to find a mattress that met our needs and budget. Order and costs fully explained.

Appalling customer service Lied to by staff on delivery, told at 4pm the day before that delivery is not possible, then got an email saying a week later. Called the day before to check it was still on and then told delayed again for a different reason. Will never order from these again. Disgusting customer service, paid nearly 3 grand and they just treat you so bad.

Having used Bensons for my previous bed, many, many years ago, they were my first thought when I needed to buy a new one. I did go into the store having done some research and knowing more or less what I wanted, and David was able to answer any questions I had regarding if this was still the right purchase for me. David provided a very friendly experience.

From start to finish, Bensons for beds have been amazing. Brilliant communication, always kept us up to date, delivered on the day we've chosen and in time. Bed is amazing and good quality, sturdy, with plenty of storage space. Definitely recommend purchasing installation as it took us (2 people) 2 hours to put it together. Driver, John H, and drivers mate, Steven B, have been professional, called 30 minutes prior to delivery (as advised) and offer advices on how to install the bed. Definitely recommend

Originally planned to buy a bed from a well known hotel chain, but thought it wise to actually go to a bed shop and test some out. We chose Bensons For Beds Peterborough store and 3 hours later we had purchased our new bed! We were served by Jade who was extremely knowledgable, patient and professional. She explained the features of different mattress and base types and gave us plenty of time to try them out. She was not pushy at all, but was there to answer any questions or give advice when needed.
The shop had so many beds to choose from with lots of the colour choices. I was not looking forward to shopping for a bed, but the service given and experience of our purchase turned it into a pleasant one.
