I am concerned with the lack of…
I am concerned with the lack of communication/contact . I feel that I should be able to speak with someone not just through emails. I had to reach out by email to update my address. It’s not reassuring when you have to email and then you get a notice and the address isn’t changed on the notice. So I am quite frustrated at this point.

After looking into your order, it looks like you placed your purchase with us outside of our customer support working hours and quickly sent us a follow up message requesting an address change. When our customer team signed on in the morning, they promptly responded to your message that they had made the update. However, the shipping confirmation email that went out the following day when the bike shipped did contain the old address even though your order is headed to the correct address—that is a mistake on our end, as we should have clarified. Rest assured, your order is being delivered to the correct, updated address. This was too easy. A great way to find your ride. This bike order was my second order for a bike. My first order had a strange glitch (nothing to do with bike exchange) and they helped me sort through it. Kudos to them.

Misrepresentation on web site
Misrepresentation on web site. Advertised a trek Donane+ AXS for $4000. Paid for and they say d it was a mistake. Did nothing to rectify it.

Good experience, despite my contributions
My dad was looking for a good one-speed bike for tooling around, so I found him one on the Bike Exchange. Placing the order (on my card, but delivered to his address) was easy, the price was great, and the vendor responsive. Sadly, my dad changed his mind the next day. The upshot, great customer service all around, as they were able to cancel the order. Hopefully next time, I will actually PURCHASE something.

As I was trying to make my purchase
As I was trying to make my purchase, it would not go through with 2 different credit cards which both have a zero balance. I tried several times on both cards and then shut down your app and then shut down my phone with still no success.
Usually when you choose your state in a payment app, there is a drop down with the states listed and you choose one or the app will make your mistakes red and go back to the mistake.
Apparently the app did not like that I put in wa (no drop down) but wanted Washington. Not sure how I figured it out but I did.
It would be helpful to have the drop down with state options or obvious problems before going on to the payment.
Plus, you’re not open on weekends (or holidays with sales) so I couldn’t contact anyone by email or phone.
Other than that, fine!

After looking into your transaction, it appears that your order was delivered 11 days after your purchase, which does fall into our 3-10 business day shipping estimate that we advertise on our site. Follow up to my previous post: “still no bike”
Follow up to my previous situation. While I never did receive my new bike, Griffin at the Bike Exchange worked to make things right. Recognizing that most of the issue was the poor communication on the shipper’s (FedEx) part, he nonetheless offered several possible solutions including offering full refund of the purchase. While I missed out on key events this summer on my new bike, the apology was sincere and the solution was fair.
