I had an appointment yesterday with the audiologist. I expected to need hearing aids. The audiologist I saw was professional, patient, gave good explanations. I walked around for 20 minutes with hearing aids in. We then had a chat. We both agreed that I should wait a year and then be reassessed. There was no pressure. Very good experience.

Not great. My first appointment was cancelled. Eventually I saw two charming audiologists for an initial test and a follow-up hearing test, chose my hearing aids and then had the fitting appointment cancelled. Couldn’t rebook for 2 weeks. Need more audiologists to work Saturdays!

The audiologist was a lovely lady who explained my hearing problem succinctly. This made the whole experience very easy.

Today I changed the filters and domes of my Phonak hearing aids which I purchased 6 months ago from Boots in Kingston upon Thames, and it reminded me to write this review of my experience. From the initial hearing health check and hearing test, to the fitting of my new hearing aids, the audiologist (Kuraisha Govender) was extremely helpful, professional, thorough and pleasant. Kuraisha took time to answer all my questions, provided me with accurate information and recommendations for my needs, and allowed time for me to try out different hearing aids in the shop. The level of service and advice went beyond my expectations. And what a difference the hearing aids have made! Thank you Kuraisha. (Steve Davis)
