I have been trying to receive a full refund for a defective product since August 13, but the issue is still unresolved.
Customer service repeatedly tells me that another department has emailed me, yet none of those emails have arrived. I have checked every folder, called customer service, and followed up several times. Instead of receiving clear return instructions and a refund, I keep being passed between departments.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend ordering directly from BowFlex. A simple return of a defective product should not require this much time and effort.
I hope BowFlex resolves this promptly. I will update my review if they do.

I have no direct confirmation of my order from Bowflex nor a tracking number. My order does not appear on my profile. I HAVE NOT received my equipment yet I've received a bill. Who do I contact to find out where my equipment is?
Totally unacceptable!

I have a set of the 552 dumbbells that were “voluntarily recalled”. I paid a lot of money for them. I want to be able to use them. They offered me $95 VOUCHER for them. Meaning, they want me to spend over $300 + the voucher to buy another set. Almost seems like a scam. Normally, in a recall, the company will handle the issue completely. It’s a recall. That’s the point. How can it be legal to do it this way? I just want weights that are safe and I don’t have to worry about it breaking my toes. Unreal. Very poor customer service on this matter. They won’t give straight answers. I verified with them that mine are the recalled weights. Standard practice - replace the weights. A voucher that’s a fraction of the value is insane. You guys are terrible.

I will never buy another product because of this. I’m worried that anything I buy, if it gets a recall, I’ll have to spend double just to get a good set. Seriously… think about that everyone!

Easy process.

This is my second pair of Bowflex dumbbells. The first pair dated back almost 20 years ago. Despite the eventual problem with the latching mechanism, the dumbbells were exceptionally constructed. The new version doesn’t appear to have the same quality. The handles appear to be plastic versus a tackier rubber handle on the older model. They are still a good product, but I prefer the overall construction of the old model.

Customer service representative "Ross" was very informative and helpful. The second call with the woman was equally as professional and helpful. Great employees!

I have owned a Bowflex before, well I still have it. I just lost parts in a move. I enjoyed using the Bowflex as a way to stay in shape. Due to various injuries related to my previous career as an M1A1 Abrams crew member and later as an ICU RN. The Bowflex proved to be an effective tool for me. Using free weights was becoming more difficult due to these injuries.

I had my first Bowflex for almost 26 years and decided to upgrade to an Xtreme 2 SE. I placed the order over the phone and the Customer Service lady was very nice and helpful. I donated my old Bowflex, which was still in very good condition, which was why to buy Bowflex again and not other product. I find the Bowflex machines to be versatile and well made, I highly recommend them.

Shipping was fast just gotta put together. Haven’t really used that much but it looks good. Just ordered a bike yesterday.

I’ve owned the Bowflex Extreme 2SE since 2021. Just upgraded my rods to the 410 lb set. I love this machine. I use only a fraction of the exercises but the ones I do use, I use regularly. The ease of changing the seat height, arm positioning ports, and differing weight rods is such a huge plus for me.

The Bowflex is so well built. My grand daughter and I easily assembled it when I bought in 2021. No cable wear or for that matter, any wear anywhere since I purchased. A new set of rods every 5 to 6 years and you’re good to go.

I primarily use my Bowflex for complete upper body workout. I find it easier to use my separate incline bench for leg extensions, leg curls and free weight work.

I just turned 70 and just finished my workout today. I feel great! Many tell me the 70’s is the decade of decline. Maybe so for the inactive and lethargic. Planning on that not being the case for me.

Horrible communication, horrible customer service. One of the worst purchasing decisions I have ever made.

Order didn't go through. Customer service wants me to send in a screenshot of the order instead of just taking my details.

Checking out was easy but it would be nice to be given an idea of when the product might ship or when it might arrive.
