It’s interesting that they report any review that they do not agree with as defamatory.

Update 2: email received "You reviewed Building Control Communications, who believe your review actually belongs to another business."

I stand with what I say. We did contact them repeatedly and they either did not respond (once they had money of course) or was dismissive. Either way, advertise through other means. Local papers, parish papers, magazines, google etc.
The fact they report reviews that they do not agree with speaks VOLUMES.
Their publications are enormous so you your advert will unlikely be seen by anyone as they get bored flicking through it. That's only if they can be bothered to find the publication on a random website link.
I'd understand if it was posted to people but anyone can create an e-document and publish it online, doesn't mean it will get seen by anyway.
This is besides the point, the team were very odd behaving, as I say it did not feel legit from early on.

As a tradesperson, we would not recommend advertising your company with this company.
They continuously try to upsell, are not responsive and the marketing is incredibly basic and we even thought at many times it was not a legitimate company.

We have not had 1 lead, I'm doubtful that anyone reads the publications as they are only online and are incredibly long. We wanted a refund before the publication was even listed but tried to give benefit of the doubt. It's now too late for a refund so all we can do is leave a review of our experience and take it down as a lesson learnt.

We we're contacted by Margaret and decided to go with advertisement in our area, she was very friendly, polite and helpful. Ken then produced our artwork and was happy to make any amendments for us. We are excited to receieve a copy of the brochure displaying our advert

I've had an excellent experience with BCC, Gary was very helpful and explained everything perfectly. Ken produced the artwork for the campaign using my website theme/colours and it looks brilliant. I can't wait for everything to go live.

The team i spoke to are very helpful and explained everything to me in detail.

I used this company and Ken Devonport looked after my account, he did a great job and allowed me to make a few minor alterations so I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you
