Personal review
First of all, the ease of navigating the site…
I have been on a quest to find a good hazelnut flavoring. I do believe I have found the one I have been searching for!
When I received the package, I was amazed at how well it was packed and shipped without damage.
Thank you for producing a wonderful product!

This is the first time that I've ordered oils from BA. They are great smelling, but my shipment was not so great. 2 of the 6 bottles were leaking. The Orange and the Lavender broke their seals. It was messy. I'm not sure if I'm able to return or get a refund of some sort. BA is cheaper than Eden's Garden but EG were top notch in everything that they did: quality, responsiveness, shipping, etc.

Thank you for your feedback, DG. We’re very sorry to hear that part of your shipment arrived leaking and understand how frustrating and messy that can be. While we’re glad you enjoyed the scents themselves, broken seals are definitely not the experience we want for our customers.
Please know that if products arrive damaged in transit, our team is happy to help make it right. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’re glad to hear there were positives as well regarding the pricing and fragrance quality. Thank you again for giving us a try and for sharing your honest experience.

Perfect Customer Service
Problems are inevitable. Customer Service is about problems being handled by the company and not you. USPS is a mess these days; half of my purchase arrived damaged. I sent Bulk Apothecary an email with pictures of the damaged product, and they sent me replacement product the next business day (plus a kind email too)! Five stars for Customer Service because the product itself wasn't the issue. Thanks! p.s., This was indeed a prompted review, but I am happy to be making it!

Thank you so much, Rachel! We really appreciate your thoughtful perspective. You’re absolutely right, issues can happen, especially with carriers, but what matters most is how they’re handled. We’re glad our team was able to quickly get replacement products out to you and help turn the experience around. Thank you again for your kindness, honesty, and support!

Received what I thought was the wrong…
Received what I thought was the wrong item. Initiated a ticket. Was told I had to return opened bottles via UPS.
-This would have cost more than the return was worth
-This would have cost me additional money for new packaging
-This would have caused a huge mess.
Closed the return to prevent the above.
Went to place a new order for the product I actually ordered and found the picture was for the item I received. Reached out to customer service again and found out they are the exact same item just with different labels and so I spent twice the money necessary on samples because they really only have 1/2 what they claim to because each product has at least two labels.
Now I’m stuck with a bunch of their product and have to use it before finding a better supplier.
Two stars because delivery and customer service response were fast.
Product is ok. Scented oils are strong. Lotions are good, but heavy on residue.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Noe. We’re sorry for the confusion and frustration surrounding the product labeling and return process. We understand how discovering that some items share the same base formula under different listing names could feel misleading, especially after placing additional sample orders.
Many of these listings exist to help customers find products based on specific search terms or intended uses, but we understand your point and appreciate you bringing this perspective to our attention. We also want to clarify that for approved returns, we provide the return shipping label at no cost, and customers can simply reuse the original box the products arrived in.
That said, we’re glad to hear delivery was fast, customer service responded quickly, and that you enjoyed the strength of the fragrance oils and overall lotion quality. We truly appreciate the honest feedback as it helps us continue improving.

Great Product, Fast Shipping
I always enjoy my products from here. They have high quality items like my coconut oil, Shea butter and palm oil and this last time I ordered I received it within 4 days! Great turn around time as I ran out and didn’t want to wait for a week or more for them to show up, which has happened elsewhere. I will continue to shop here for my soaping needs!

Trying new things
I am so glad i found Bulk Apothecary! I have recently been making efforts to stop buying everything from Amazon. Yes, its cheap & convenient, but its not ethical. I'm glad I could find so many of my biz supplies (massage therapist) from this company.
--> Shipping was fast, communication was efficient, products arrived as expected. TBH, shipping so much liquid can be risky (big potential for leakage and spillage) and there was minimal leakage; items were packaged well!
-->items were reasonably priced!
-->website is easy to navigate
