Bought a car from them. Turned up to collect and was pointed out two dents. They agreed that they’d pay for a local repair (so that I could take the car - I live 180 miles away). Got quote - they went back on their promise leaving me a £1k problem. Terrible company. Do not buy a car from them.

Amazing experience through out my purchase

Was part exchanging my old Hyundai with the hope of getting a new one. LC was a fantastic sales representative who let me test drive all the different models I was considering and I ended up buying.
After the sale had been confirmed LW was great at handling all the paperwork/taxing etc for my part exchange and I had a lovely experience at handover - LW explained everything to do with the app and was willing to answer any questions I had before letting me drive away in my new car.

Brand new car with serious fault on Jacoo hybrid.
Not able to be fixed or drivable due to unfit for use, the process of having to get a replacement and the attitude of staff very disappointing. Almost left without any method of transport or collection to get back to home residence.

Excellent customer service.. especially from Lewis W who guided me through the handover answering all last little concerns I had.

I recently purchased a vehicle from the Wakefield branch. My experience included:
• Delays in vehicle readiness due to technical issues last over 3 weeks.
• Previously agreed cosmetic work (alloys and paint) that had not been completed
• Difficulty obtaining key information such as service history and number of previous owners
• Repeated updates and communications that did not fully resolve the issues

Overall, my experience was frustrating due to these delays and the lack of clear information. I am sharing this review based solely on my personal, first-hand experience with this branch.

Kate was absolutely fantastic throughout our entire car buying experience. As a trainee sales controller at Cars2, she demonstrated a level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail that truly stood out so it’s easy to see how well she will do in her career.

From the very first enquiry, Kate kept in regular contact and made us feel completely looked after. She took the time to understand exactly what we needed for our family and worked quickly and efficiently to find the perfect car. Nothing ever felt rushed or generic and everything was thoughtfully tailored to us.

What really made the difference was her kindness and genuine approach. She made the whole process smooth, stress free, and enjoyable. We couldn’t be happier with our new family car, and that’s largely thanks to Kate’s dedication and support.

Brilliant experience throughout purchase of our new Bayon. Lewis Wigley had everything to hand for our collection and he is an absolute credit to Cars2. I should also add Lewis Cox who too was a pleasure to deal with.

The car purchased is lovely my daughter’s first car the sales team were fab. However a few issues, made countless phone calls and they say will return calls but they never do . After sales service is disgusting .

Purchased a car with diamond alloy wheels had no locking nut key but was advised they would be a delay collecting the car due to sorting this and would provide with a locking nut. Picked car up day later no locking nuts and told would get some after many phone calls told they have taken off and would ring back to arrange 3 week later still nothing then to be told they can’t source them. I have looked on Kia and can purchase for £25 in stock . I have since purchased these myself as being told different things from different members of staff and don’t need them yet the sales person was advised how fantastic the alloys are. Great they can be stolen easy then .

Sold car advising comes with 6 year warranty to find out when rung Kia, it’s is null and void as the service wasn’t done at specified time. After sales advised that doesn't matter about warranty not worth anything.

Chips on windscreen after approx 10 phone calls, plus calling in to the show room. Someone will be ringing you back no one does, told someone coming out to home to sort out still waiting.

I really don’t appreciate being ignored and lied to .

My other daughter looking at purchasing from MG told her do not go there. My father as MG and looking at another new one in September as his car is two year old he won’t be going there and my sister in law looking at purchasing a car my brother owns MG won’t be going .

Myself and husband have always had excellent service from Castleford Ford they have been amazing and have gone back for last 4 cars . If only they had still made fiestas would have gone there for daughter’s car .

Don’t expect to pay £14,000 and receive this sort of after sales service . Really is disappointing .

I don’t usually complaint but feel people have a right to know before purchasing and paying hard earned cash .

Really is a shame as they have lovely cars and hopefully customer service training given and this is addressed shocking

Tell lies not to be trusted sales no respect to elderly customers call them deary not due cancel due to computers failure have a garage across that does not but no manager might do you a favour car ready 19th Feb new arrival advised pickup 10am then due to broken leg told couldn't get until 19th march said not problem then on 18th march car not arrived still in port manager Robert rude and didn't care he cancelled sale as I asked why I was mislead

Bought a Renault 5 at Huddersfield. Everything went very smoothly. All test driven, delivered and sorted efficiently within a week. Really quite a pleasant experience. No pushy sales talk. Reasonable discussion about trade-in.

I had a great experience dealing with Calvin at Cars2go. He was very helpful throughout the process, always polite, friendly, and easy to talk to. He took the time to answer our questions and made everything straightforward and stress free. We highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to a new or used car.

Bullies. Tried selling me a car without a warranty despite advertising it had. When I pointed it out they said it would be fine until I sat and waited for the manager who said it wasn't but it was my fault for not checking the log book. Then tried selling me one of their warranties before finally agreeing to give my deposit back. They are slimy salesmen who want your money not your business. The official complaint I made to head office just went straight back to the person I complained about. The owners son manages the branch so no guesses there.

Update following cars2 response:
I will not be speaking to the head office team as suggested in the reply as the last time I did this they referred me back to the branch. I believe this is a reply just for your trust pilot and you have no interest in 'resolving' a complaint. You could have apologised at the time and didn't. As you've pointed out that was nine months ago. You've clearly already looked up my complaint as you have the date right.
