I've not ordered bit I've looked on your website and for 1 meal 15 pound wow a family of 5 that would be £75. With the cost of living that's way too expensive.

We have a variety of meals on the platform and pricing starts from £7 and goes up to £15 for a meal for one. It all depends on the type of cuisine, amount of meat/protein used in the dish. Also, our meals are small batch prepared by home-chefs using only the freshest available ingredients. Our prices are not comparable to cheaper meals available through frozen or supermarket ready meal companies.

This was my first time using Flavers
This was my first time using Flavers. I was contacted on delivery day to be told the food was not ready on time and I wouldn't receive it. We rearranged delivery for one week later. Delivery was successful this time, however a disappointing experience. On opening the box I found the containers had split and the contents spilt. The plastic containers were not packed in with any protection at all just placed in a box so I'm not surprised they split. I was also missing an item. Overall quite disappointed. I contacted customer support on the same day but have had no response at all. This business is such a good idea but it is not executed well at all.

This was my first time of ordering food…
This was my first time of ordering food from Flavers. It was a massive disappointment. The meat of the beef strogonnof was hard and chewy almost unedible, the sauce was tasteless. Both chicken dishes were dry and stale. The
lemon chicken was dry and without any sauce. The roast potatoes were ok. There were no heating instructions. Instead the suggestion was to scan a bar code to get the instructions. However, the bar code scan didn’t lead anywhere
I will not order again.

Heating instructions are emailed to you on the day before the meals arrive. These are also available through the app/website in your order history. The QR code takes you to the app section with the instructions.

It was a great takeaway alternative! We had some lovely Indian dishes, chicken passanda, jalfrezi, aloo gobi and it was very tasty, much more authentic and generous portions.
Will order again and try other cuisines too.

Food not as advertised
Chettinad chicken was too dry with no sauce at all (the pic on the website was deceptive). And it wasn't spicy at all. It was nothing but too big chunks of chicken on the bone. I'll never recommend this again.
Also, the site does not allow buying from different chefs and combining the orders, thus pushing the clients to buy only the food any particular chef offers. No wonder the Dragons didn't invest in this venture.
After exchange between us, they have fully refunded my order.

This idea is a good one. However, when you have waited for a few days and looked forward to a wonderful meal, it is a pity that what turned up was not very good quality.

I like the idea and it works well but…
I like the idea and it works well but unfortunately the food was poor
Tikka masala was hotter than a vindaloo and runny
Lamb masala had small bits of bone which was dangerous
Heating times was same for every meal including bread
Will try a different chef next time for a last chance

Good for Veggies
My partner enjoyed the 4 veg meals, in particular, the puffed bread was very good. My chicken dish was tender enough, but too mild for me, I had to add chillies. Only negative is that the packing containers were not robust enough for trsnsportation as 2 had burst and the contents had leaked across the others.

Not a good service at all
Not a good service at all. We tried ordering twice at both times the food was not delivered. When we escalated the matter to the owners they processed a refund and said there was a problem with the courier company. The owner called us both times asking us to remove negative reviews which we complied with. This shows that they are unethical in their apprach.
However they tried sending another free sample through DHL. The DHL delivery guy told me the food was collected 2 days ago. That food had also gone bad and the Pulao rice was stinking. I would not recommend this service to anyone. They do not care about their customers' health.

If I order from your platform, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure good service throughout your supply chain. This has happened twice and every time you blame your courier, delivery company etc. I was offered a replacement meal and unfortunately you sent me the same spoilt food again.
Your platform has communication issues and delivery issue and I understand that being a small business you may have teething problems but berating customers and harassing them to remove unfavorable reviews is not a good practice.

To be clear, you were called by our support team and they explained that we would be sending you a replacement meal. The order was originally placed by your husband and he would have most likely received the order confirmation. The DHL courier driver tried re-delivering the meal which wasn't delivered originally. This seems to be the source of confusion.
You mention here that the driver also told you that the food was collected 2 days ago. However you chose to consume the food. This is something which doesn't add up on our side and would help if you could speak to us in more detail.
We have repeatedly offered to resolve the situation but you've chosen to be aggressively towards our support team and have reviewed us negatively across multiple platforms. Having said that, you should also consider that deliveries are being fulfilled by a 3rd party and not us and we have tried our best to offer you a solution which you've refused.
As a small business, we are constantly improving our processes and if you choose to return to place a future order, we're sure you will have a better experience as we're working with our fulfilment partners to ensure such situations don't arise.

Delicious home cooked food 5*
Great to be able to get home cooked food from genuine home cooks. It tastes so much better than from restaurants through other well known food delivery apps. Delivery excellent, packaging excellent and above all the food “truly scrumptious”. Have become a regular user and would 100%recommend

Anshuman never disappoints ( Zaika) … it’s my go to order on CMG as I know his dishes are authentic and portion size is generous! I make it a point to get food from Zaika at least once a month ( consider I’m an avid cook and mostly have home cooked food)

Absolutely delicious!
The food was 5 star. We ordered Thai food and it was just delicious. And good quality food. Every dish. Better than a restaurant. And it was fairly quick - we ordered at 6pm on a Saturday night and it arrived at 7, better than our local Indian. We'll be using this service again and again.
