Food was delivered on time. Food itself was delicious and very well portioned. A little more expensive than a take away but you can see that quality ingredients were used

Was all good except Parcel Force delivery!
Everything worked fine, food was good, ordering was easy, only issue was with the delivery company, Parcel Force, thay claim to give you a 1 hour delivery time slot, as you can geuss, this never happened, so I had to just sit there with no live updates, live map, time slot etc from Parcel Force, so not happy, i won't order again until this issue is clarified.

Have not used the service yet as the app is too clunky and slow, which doesn't instill much confidence. I will try it at some point but not fully convinced that it will work. Also the minimum spend amount is frustrating if you can order only from one vendor at a time

We're aware of some slowness on some Android phones and our tech teams are working hard on fixing this. Please look out for an update on the Play Store in the coming days.

Overall…..great!
Ordering process through app a little long winded but once you are in it’s easy! Discounts are great if you can get your hands on one. Everything else pretty great! Would recommend Chef Lindsay for your African experience!

Ordered 4 pasta dishes,this was our second DELIVERY,from this chef.The portions were smaller than last time.The garlic bread was like slices of a French stick with garlic butter on ,in the first order..Really nice..Today order was Pile of rough flat bread with a scrapping of garlic on it.
This order came to more than £50.This my last order

Overall good experience
Overall good experience there were some concerns with customer support but food wise it is good. It is a home cooked food it should not be compared with restaurant’s one.

It's a great concept and the food was…
It's a great concept and the food was really good. I did get the wrong order Inn the second order I made, which meant my veggie daughter didn't have anything she could eat. I didn't seem to have any way of feeding this back and getting some redress for it. I tried an email form but got no reply.
The other thing is the amount of plastic waste. I know that's a hard one to crack but it really is a lot

Food arrived well packed
Food arrived well packed, however when I removed the meals they were leaking. When I opened them they were all mushed together, not very pleasant. One of the meals, a Pakistani stew was so salty that I could only manage a couple of mouthfulls before I gave up. The second meal, a nihari was extremely gloopy, to the point of being slimy. It appeared to me that the cook had used cornflour instead of atta flour as a thickener. The consistency was so unappealing that I again only managed a couple of mouthfuls before I had to give up. All in all, a total waste of money.

Delivery of food was excellent. Ordered 3 dishes, so 3 stars based only on one, gravy in a side pot would have been better.

Absolutely lovely food
Absolutely lovely food, I ordered a Paella, and received it on time and not only my order, but an extra portion. I'd recommend these try them, delivery by parcel force. ☺️👍❤️

Prompt and helpful customer outreach
Have been contacted by a member of the CookmyGrub team who helped resolve my issues. They explained that my previous queries submitted through the online contact form don't seem to have registered on the system, so the seeming lack of response was not intentional. The team member clarified my queries and I now look forward to trying out some of the meals.
