We had been looking for a company that could supply this style furniture and found Crown French Furniture on the Internet. We were cautious in spending a considerable amount of money on furniture that we hadn't seen, so we made a 2 hour journey to the showroom. The staff were courteous and professional in helping us achieve the look we were after including choosing the upholstery and the furniture didn't disappoint and was as advertised. The delivery drivers were equally courteous and professional in delivering and assembling of the furniture. We are very pleased with the furniture and the customer service received throughout.

I had been looking at this style of console table for a long time. This was by far the most competitive price I had found. The good thing is they have a showroom which you can call direct for any queries. When I called to check on delivery there was a lovely man who was so helpful and checked delivery dates for me. Love my console table, thank you for a great experience.

Living in France it is extremely difficult to find beautiful, statement bedroom furniture. After an extensive search on the internet the only place I could find what I wanted was Crown French Furniture. From my first telephone call to the last, over 6 months every employee has been helpful, courteous and keen to assist in any way possible. I placed a large order and although slightly delayed by a month (due to COVID I believe) the items arrived and are outstanding beautiful. The quality id excellent and beyond my expectation. I am always nervous about ordering such important items over the internet, without having seen them in person, but they exceeded my expectations. I had one item custom made to fit a space (it is perfect and just what we wanted) and I custom chose the fabric on the upholstered items to get just what was in my mind. Crown French Furniture arranged for a huge amount of fabric samples to be sent to me and they supported my desire to get the right fabric for me. Every item was wrapped very carefully and thoroughly and survived the long journey from their manufacturers all the way to the south of France. Everyone loves the look I have been able to create and so do I. I just wish I could show you some photographs!

I ordered a dining table in April, and because of delays it arrived today, towards the end of July - inevitable, I think, with COVID and Brexit. It has been worth the wait. The table is lovely, very solid, good quality and good value. The two delivery men were courteous and helpful, they set up the table and took away the wrappings.
Every time I have contacted Crown French Furniture I have had prompt and helpful service. In my experience they are an excellent company, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Crown French Furniture are utterly crap.

I’m still shocked and appalled by the abysmal state of affairs to be perfectly honest. The below has been cobbled together from emails, screenshots and WhatsApp conversations between myself and my husband which refer to the s**t show and basically summarises the cold, hard facts. I know we have had even more phone conversations with the company but short of pulling my phone records; which let’s face it who could be bothered to do that given that the rest of this has been such a struggle…

13 calls to them from My husband’s phone alone just this month. So, a brief catalogue of errors:

- 14th March. Placed the order which confirmed on their website only for us to realise a few days later that the money hadn’t left our account and we therefore had to contact the company to see what the issue was.
- 19th March. Placed the order again over the phone to be told the bed would arrive next month
- April. No update. Had to chase them. Told that there was a delay and it would be the following month.
- May. Led to believe it would be around 10th May for arriving into the country.
- 13th May. Called and the staff had to speak to their manager. We were promised a call back. Didn’t get one.
- 17th May. Asked for an email/ audit trail so we can have their lies in black and white. No email. This then became a common theme.
- 11th June. Told a container arrived yesterday and our bed could be on there. If this was the case then they would off load it over the weekend and schedule it in for delivery the week commencing 14th June.
- 15th June. Promised a call. No call.
- 16th June. Called Crown French Furniture. No answer so spoke to them on their online chat (which I have a video of the transcript)
- 17th June. Still no bed. We do however start to get one member of staff keeping his promises at this stage.
- End of June. We’re finally making progress! Three confirmation emails all confirming different dates and times for delivery (again we have these emails saved).
- 30th June. THE WRONG BED ARRIVES! Completely different colour to the one we ordered so we then called the company immediately to take it back. By this point we are done and have fallen out of love with the whole thing.
- 1st July. Have to wait for someone to call to book in the collection.
- 2nd July. We chase the collection up via call and email. Told it is still with the movement planners to book us a slot.
- 5th July. Still chasing.
- 6th July. Earliest slot means we agreed to the 16th July for them to collect.
- 12th July. Changes to the schedule apparently now coming 15th July between 4.30pm – 8.30pm.
- 15th July. Guess who didn’t show up?
- 16th July. We give them the opportunity to collect it this day. Did they? Nope! Told that as a special favour someone would go out of their way on Saturday 17th July to collect it for us. How kind? This someone will call us when they leave London and should be with us by lunch time.
- 17th July. Lunchtime and we’re chasing them again. Actual collection closer to 5pm which is fantastic when you want to enjoy your sunny weekend off work isn’t it?
- 19th July. Chased acknowledgement of collection or any sort of email confirming when to expect our refund. The manager says that this will be processed today and we will get an email with details. Funds then can take up to 7 days. Fine. Understandable.
- 20th July. Still no email. Chased again to be told it will be actioned tomorrow as the account manager is off.

In summary, we have waited 4 months for NO BED and to be ROBBED basically. If they had managed our expectations from the start then we would have had a better understanding of the process but unfortunately we’re now at the point where we have no goods and will not have any goods from them ever again but they are certainly very happy to keep our money. Not even a hint or suggestion of compensation either for all the waiting around and days off work that we’ve had to take.

DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I received our armoire today and we love it. It arrived several months early which was such a bonus and it’s lovely. The delivery drivers, Jim and Rob were great guys. Really polite, helpful and professional. It’s our first time buying from you and everything was excellent. Thank you Caryn

Having bought a very old cottage (built in 1815) I want to furnish it with beautiful quality furnishings. My son recommended Crown French Furniture from the website reviews and pictures.
I initially bought 6 Oval French dining room chairs made to my own specifications, colour and fabric wise. I was so impressed by the quality of the chairs, the detail craftspersonship, and also the engagement I experienced with all the staff at Crown French Furniture from queries to ordering the furniture and any follow up. When the furniture arrived (to Dublin - Ireland) I had to commend the delivery team, the men who delivered the chairs were very professional. I was so impressed with the furniture and the experience, I went back to order a Dinning room table and 2 bedroom lockers. Again, when the order arrived I was very taken aback at how amazing this new furniture is and the quality of the pieces. These pieces also exceeded my expectations. Each made specific to order. Fabulous. Once again, the whole experience was very professional, efficient, helpful and really just the best. Again, the delivery team and the delivery men were so helpful and very professional. I will be going back to Crown French Furniture for more pieces as I need them. I have already recommended this FANTASTIC furniture shop to my friends and colleagues at work. Not just is the furniture beautiful, of extremely high quality and value for money - the team who work there are great people and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you.

Some good....some not so good. Delighted when the boss offered to have a sideboard painted for me. Using my colour I was delighted. The spraying was not charged for which was great.....although delivery was charged - after being told the drivers went through my village. Delivery would be 7 to 10 days I was initially told. 3 weeks later I rang and was told I would be called back. I wasn’t. I then went into the shop and the staff member who had said would ring me back tried to make out he could not remember me. I was concerned at this point. Told no idea why I was not on the delivery system. Sideboard arrived at appropriate time one day off 4 weeks after placing order. A few places need touching up on the sideboard - none of my paint left it seems. I do love my sideboard and loved shopping with a local company - but did not feel like they really cared after they had my money.

All our experience with Crown French Furniture was perfect and hassle free.

We have ordered a sofa with customised dimensions and fabric and CFF made this wonderful furniture piece with exceptional quality of craftsmanship.

Also we have ordered a french sideboard. You probably can not expect that after placing an order on Tuesday and asking to repaint this furniture in the colour of your choice (it was "Smoke" in our case) you will get this high quality piece delivered on the Thursday of the same week !!!

But for the CFF team the impossible is possible!

Additional thank you to the delivery team who took good care of our furniture and delivered it in the room of our choice.

Now we have ordered a couple of Louis dining carver chairs with customise fabric selections and a Camille chest of drawer and we will definitely use CFF again.

If anyone wants a lesson in how to treat customers then Tamer & his team set the gold standard. Even during early COVID days, when times were tough & supplies limited, they went out of their way to help & rang with regular updates. I recently ordered 3 items through Crown French and throughout the whole process the kept me updated and also ensured the items ordered were exactly what we wanted.
On the day of delivery I had planned to tak my family out for the day so ended up getting my folks to stay and wait for the delivery, the book case my wife ordered was way taller than we thought so would not fit where we originally wanted it to go, the team that came to deliver and install gave us lots or ways around fitting the bookshelf and even offered to take it back with them. I agreed to keep it and am really happy we did.
All the product we bought are top class and it was a pleasure dealing with Crown French. I wish the well with and will most certainly be back buying more as we get through furnishings our house.

Purchased the Sophia sideboard
Was delayed for around 6 weeks, had to keep ringing for update.
Once arrived it was cracking in a lot of places, this was replaced within 2 weeks. same thing happened again with the new one but this time paint chipped from
Off the top, again was replaced
My other one came some slight marks but didn’t seem as bad as other one so decided to keep saves all the messing around.
Now a few months later cracks are appearing everywhere in the wood, door hing not closing

From start to finish this company has been amazing. We ordered the Sophia bed and it has arrived today and is beautifully made and I was also able to order a custom size and colour for my daughters bedroom and it looks stunning.

The sales staff were absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful and the delivery team were so helpful and friendly.

This company just lie! Ordered a bed October and paid, I though the bed would come in a week. I found out they don’t even have the bed and have to get them from abroad! The company will not communicate with you unless you Keep emailing them. Then they are very clever at sending email that don’t tell you anything. it’s now February and still not got a delivery date. They have my money and I don’t have my bed!
