Post booking verification call in a very professional manner

Booked a flight with all information. It was pending credit card check stuff but didn't guarantee ticket stated by email too. So I patiently waited which it eventually showed it being processed with a booking code. I was able to see that the tickets been on the major airline with that code but due to change of price they followed up with me in a email they needed to get a hold of me. I emailed them as soon as I could and they told me the new price if I agreed, I would have to spend an extra $400 or cancel. I cancelled and wasted mine and my families time. I would not suggest trying to book with this company as there trying to make a buck off ya in hopes you agree with the new price change.

I booked ticket that price were shown on website, but 2hours later an agent called me to confirm, but again they called me said that I have to pay $180+ additional, I asked the how’s that possible? He said the tax is increased, I didn’t agree with him as I always book tickets online and never heard this, so hang up, but later they change the word and said the price is increased,
Charged me extra , I’m so upset about it that such company scamming innocent people!

If you have reached this page that means you have either taken a ticket and are suffering or are here to be saved. I will try to be as objective as possible and not let my emotions play a role in this honest review. Here's what's going to happen:
- After booking with them, You will receive and email saying they will get back you with a confirmation in 24 hours.
- You will not receive a confirmation or cancellation (at least i did not) by which time the original price of the ticket would have increased
- Behind the phones are 2 people - Betty and Hassan (real identities to be revealed and published in the next part of this review). Both are not professional. To the point where they almost shout at you and abuse you
- The people on the phones will tell you the prices of the tickets have increased, and they can only book it for an additional charge asking you to pay the difference.
- The reality is.. their backed cannot book any tickets in real time, their sweatshop does a manual booking every time they receive an order. they do not have any connection with airlines like Frontier, Spirit and other budget airlines, confirmed by their staff member.
- You will give in to their scam depending how bad you want that ticket or not give in and come here to write a review
- After 24 hours to book your ticket for a price which their website has offered you with, if they would have let you know that they cannot book that ticket you could've saved the money by going to another merchant and book in time to save the pain. Their staff will say they never received your booking and some issue with the backend (also confirmed by one of the 2 people, glad i have all these conversations recorded)
- To be honest, I wasn’t charged anything (am glad I wasn’t, others weren’t so lucky) but I ended spending significantly more than I was supposed as they did not get back to me with a confirmation or a cancellation. My pain stems from there.
- The very colorful tongued, unqualified to even work at fuel station's side store's counter to sell cigarettes kind of an employee – Betty (not her real name but works illegally at Destina Holidays) will shout at you and abuse you.
- I tried to book a ticket for another person, they claim it to be a fraudulent transaction given the person who's traveling is not having the same name as the payment credential (no where on their policy does it mention this that the names need to match. Check policy.
- Review's are usually responded by one of the following:
1. You are a competitor coming for them. Reality is that no one can compete with Destina Holidays in their incompetence.
2. You are fraud (not them, YOU!)
3. Please share your booking reference or TRIP ID, so we can properly address your feedback. Following which they disappear.
4. Your credit information like your name and Billing Address will be published (like mine). Feel free to check other reviews. Retaliation at it’s peak.
5. All the good reviews you read are also coming from a certain few IPs (we all know how this works), expose on how Destina Holidays posts fake reviews also coming soon as well ;), cc’ing TrustPilot and other pages so their pages are taken away.

Now that we are covered with this. A few more additional details:
- The company is run by Mr. Nadeem Qureshi "VISIONARY", he is generally not available (I feel he is, he is one of the 2 people behind the phone) or is travelling (with the money he has made scamming you). Physical address of the company: Suite 574, 2727 LBJ Freeway | Dallas, TX, 75234. No one there. Seems to be in some sort of golf booking business in Dallas. Have a lead ;) Comment for Home Address :) Why should only my address be here?
- His LinkedIn with 9 connections at the time of posting this.
I will do my bit with the following:
- Write a review everywhere possible. May even publish something mainstream.
- A complaint about how Destina Holidays and Mr. Nadeem Qureshi on how they have dealt with PII and data privacy has been logged with their Payment Processor/Acquirer. This company should not be allowed to deal with people’s payment credentials.
- A complaint to the TrustPilot authorities will be filed for publishing private credit card information of a trusting customer on a public platform
- A complaint to the travel authorities like IATA, American Society of Travel Advisors, USTOA, TICO #50021527 and their other affiliations will be made on how data privacy is handled, you are in breach many laws and regulations, too much work to list them
- I am writing this review after more than 24 hours of calling them and asking them to take down my personal information.
If Destina Holidays was professional and had good will, they could’ve apologized and taken down my personal information, but they chose to publish it and keep it up and it became a D measuring contest (even though they are wrong in all of this).

First I booked my flight with insurance, it was part of the cost. Once I get my confirmation and receipt the insurance was miraculously not on there anymore and they wanted me to purchase their insurance through Generali. Also after I book my flight they email me and tell me its an extra $350 to book it, I ask them why- their answer was " prices are not guaranteed" wow! Now my husband broke his leg and we cannot fly due to his injury and they want to keep $2200!!!!!!! This company is a scam. Do everything you can to NOT use this company. We just got our passports and are retired now and have a lot of travel plans to different countries and I can tell you right now we will NEVER book with this company or anything associated with it. Im also going to be putting my experience with this company on every single one of my social media platforms, my husband will be doing the same on ALL his social media platforms so I can warn everyone who follows us. Word of mouth travels really fast and far, this company will regret this. Also I have asked hem many times in emails when my very small refund will be back in my account and they miraculously never answer that question

Please do not book with them. They will keep cancelling your booking and steal your money with no service!
They will destroy your trip.

There are so helpful, I am so happy to have come across this company, Destina holiday they are so good and so easy to contact them. Via WhatsApp. They help me to book my affordable tickets and we are travelling in a week time.

I gave it 5 stars. Cheapest airfare to Rome for Dulles, Washington D.C. I have checked flights everyday and Destina has the best price for all third party. I made sure all names are correct and specific dates are correct. We are a family of frequent travelers to middle east, Europe and Carribean, so I am not new to booking flights and vacation. The charge to my card took a day before it showed up on my credit card but went thru smoothly . After my card was charged, I contacted the airlines and choose a seat assignment for a fee . Smooth transaction. Highly recommended. Very good price.

Great price and very efficient process

Excellent customer service. Clear and quick responses.

They’re supper slow in response to your flight changes request and they will charge you extra for the change. I would say avoid this at all cost. It’s better to directly go to the airlines website and get the ticket as it’s much cheaper and easier to make future flight changes.
This is my trip id: 25IGZA and my wife got the ticket from United airlines directly and was able to change the ticket through their app at no charge but this company doesn’t allow to change any existing ticket through the website and you have to call them and it’s a long process

Instead of not confirming flights due to not knowing a person’s passport and waiting for a call back, add a citizenship information in the booking form

Updated: DestinaHolidays did reach out to me to confirm case sensitivity in the airline's system won't cause a problem. Most people said so from Google search too. Passenger name looks correct on their end. Just a personal preference, I still want my name to match my passport to avoid any future complications flying internationally. Not sure why this happened but I'll leave it like that to be fair.

Edited with 3/5 because all the phone experiences were unfriendly and less accommodating. This is a service business after all, each customer has their own style of communications. I tend to be detailed, paced and asked questions to understand the problem - it's a 20hrs+ flight each way! Support staff were not happy with that. Yes, you'll save a bit with their good price. But adding up to $100, I've received better service elsewhere in Canada.

First time booking through this agency for Qatar, they're extremely unprofessional with a complete lack of detail and responsibility. They issued my ticket with parts of my first name in all lower case. I called the Canada support line, the support staff outright told me names in either lower case or upper case will be fine at the airport?! I disagreed, as name should be the same as in the passport and how I entered it in their system. The agent started to lose patience on the phone when he continuously asked for my password (was confused there as I needed to make sure, is it even legal in Canada to ask for a customer's password?) and he became rude. Had to ask him to chat nicely with me. This might be the last time.
