I really want to share an appreciation for the customer support. I had to get in touch for help since I made a wrong size order and then had another little issue. I always received quick replies, personal and very detailed, which is rare these days as customer support is now mostly bots and copy/ paste templates. Devon Duvets team exceeded expectation in resolving all issues. The duvet is of really nice quality, well packed and was totally worth the wait.

I ordered a duvet from Devon Duvets attracted by their commitment to locally sourced and natural wool, bespoke making, and because they are a family-owned company. I had to wait a little while for the duvet after ordering, but the company communicated well and let me know the reason for the delay. In fact, for me, this simply added to the anticipation! The duvet arrived yesterday, and to say I'm delighted doesn't convey the pleasure, enjoyment and satisfaction I experienced. To open the box and find a carefully packed cotton bag; to unpack from this the lightest, softest, most beautifully made duvet I've ever possessed; to find inside a little added cotton lavender bag to put under my pillow; to sleep under said duvet for the first time and feel so warm and cosy yet held by the lightest cover imaginable. What a good, good feeling.

This company not only makes quality products but there customer service is the best I have ever received from a company. Our duvet shrunk after taking it to the dry cleaners to be washed following a cat incident.
The dry cleaners didn't want to accept any liability, although I am sure they didn't follow the instructions, but Devon Duvets were so amazing and after a few questions just said they would send a replacement to save us any hassle. Amazing!

I’ve just bought a Double Wool Duvet 300 GSM Lightweight 4-7 TOG. The service I received was superb & I was given regular updates on delivery. The duvet is absolutely beautiful & I love the feel of it. I’m a hot sleeper & this duvet is perfect for me & will be ideal all year round. The quality is superb & It’s very well made & the finish on it is exceptional. A very professional company which I highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience with Devon Duvets from start to finish. Their customer service was outstanding, and communication about delivery was clear and concise throughout.

As a warm sleeper, it was the breathability of the duvet that initially drew me to the company—and it absolutely delivers. The duvet and pillows are the “Goldilocks” of bedding—not too hot or cold, and not too soft or too firm—just perfect. The quality is truly next level and absolutely worth every penny. I only wish I had bought them sooner!

There’s no “sheepy” smell at all, which I was pleasantly surprised by, and the lavender bags are a lovely added touch.

It also feels great to support a UK company that champions British wool and sustainability, and it’s especially nice to have a reminder of my home county in Yorkshire.

All round, an excellent experience—5 stars. Thank you!

Fantastic product and even better communication!

Even though there was a slight delay due to a factory machine breakdown, I was kept in the loop at every step. It’s rare to find a company that is this proactive and honest about lead times. The topper finally arrived, and it is absolutely fantastic—easily worth the wait. Highly recommended for both the quality and the customer service!

We ordered a Double 14+ Tog heavy weight duvet as we needed one for our spare room for visitors, we have already purchased a super king size duvet from here and the quality is superb and well made. I love the heaviness of the duvet and warmth. I would definitely recommend this company, my only thing is just make sure you give plenty of time for delivery as these are made to order.

I had an issue with my order (my fault), which Devon Duvets went to some considerable effort to solve. They didn't have to, but they did. Superb customer service. The product itself is top notch.

I've waited a year to make this review. I bought a Devon Duvets winter wool duvet and it's the most wonderful duvet I've ever had, it replaced a pure goose down. It's warm and light and very soothing when I get too hot at night sometimes (age 🙄). I sleep so well I was surprised at the difference. I now recommend them to everyone!

I have been looking to purchase a kingsize luxury mattress topper for my new bed and had been following Devon Duvets and the Woolroom for several weeks waiting to see if they offered any additional discounts to the 'forever' ones usually on display.
Devon Duvets webpages came up with an additional 20% off the kingsize so I tried making a purchase but was unable to access the offer.
I rang them and spoke to a chap who said he was only there to catch up on paperwork and took my details and the offer detail and said he would pass it on to the girl manning the phones for a callback.
This didn't happen so a couple of hours later I rang again for the same chap, clearly irritated, to promise he had passed on the details and would do so again...
I realised that there was something awray so used their mail contact to request to make a purchase, clearly clarifying their offer.
I looked online again to see that they had removed one of the pages with the offer but the other one was still there so I took a screenshot.
2 days later I have just taken a call from Helen (who ignored that I had contacted them and left details both by phone and email) to deny any knowledge and receive a polite kiss-off.
Presumably the marketing person made a mistake posting the extra 20% discount which they do not wish to honour?

I note your claim not to 'stack' discounts and once again have failed to address why your webpage 'headers' did indeed advertise a further 20% discount which you are not prepared to honour. I honestly thought it was a lot of hype, that wool duvets would be better than down duvets. I was wrong. This duvet was a total game changer in terms of the quality of sleep. I would heartily recommend them. I have now slept under it for an entire year, both the lighter version and the combined winter version. Perfect.

I bought a king size wool duvet 5 years ago, it is as good as the day i bought it. Would have gone through 3 or 4 other duveys by now. Ican honestly say that this is probably the buy i have made. In times when companies make things to wear out or break, so ypu have to buy again, its refreshing to have a company that builds to last. Cant recomend devon duvets highly enough.

Looked forward to sleeping on my new wool topper but got far too hot which caused nightmares and then waking up covered in sweat! I have a Millbrook bed which is make from wool cotton and springs 5000 of them and I find it a little firm so thought the topper would help! I will not give up as the weather is fairly mild at the moment so maybe with cooler nights it will not be as bad. A lot of money if I have to throw it out! I also have a wool duvet which is fine. If You are a post menopausal women and do get hot sometimes then I would order a topper from a company that does give refunds so that you can try it out! The topper is well made and comfortable and gets many good reviews. Well my second night with my new topper I slept far better did not overheat. It was a cooler night but I kept my window open half an hour before going to bed. I was warm and cosy not hot. I have changed my ratings from one to five. Maybe a will get the light weight alpaca duvet for the summer!

Amazing customer service and products. I would recommend them to anyone. I bought the folding wool pillow and sometimes wonder if it’s effective and then I take it away and realise it’s perfect…. I’m not noticing it because it’s doing its job well!!!

Bought a wool topper from Devon Duvets and wow what a difference it has made. It's beautifully crafted, so well made and thick enough to have made a huge difference to the comfort of my mattress and a good night's sleep. It's absolutely worth the money. Thank you .

Firstly a few years ago I purchased a Devon duvet mattress topper it is incredible the best topper we’ve ever had ! Then I was looking to buy new pillows and had been thinking about wool ones so I purchased 2 3 fold pillows , they were a little expensive but they were bogof so though why not … a month later they are amazing too this company is fantastic lots of little extra nice touches too. I can not recommend this company enough…

I was looking for a new mattress and popped into our local Peter Betteridge bed shop in Kingsbridge( where you can try beds out for comfort ) .. the lovely Fabian who has been SO helpful suggested trying out the devon duvet wool topper until i decide on a new mattress. . and that was it.. i have just enjoyed the best nights sleep in ages.. the lavender bag that came with it smells gorgeous and the topper and my new pillow( i also brought ) by them has proved to be a really good wise investment 😀 and my little jack Russell will not come out now from under the duvet ..😂

Just received the second wool mattress topper from this wonderful wonderful company.

We recently bought a super king size bed to accommodate us and a very needy long legged dog! We still have the king size bed with the DD topper we bought years ago in a different bedroom and after sleeping in the new super King for several weeks and waking up with aches and pains we decamped back to the king size bed - and lo and behold no aches and pains and woke up feeling actually refreshed for once!

Lightbulb moment same brand and type of mattress on both beds but the mattress topper makes it a simply fabulous experience on both.

Cannot praise this company highly enough. Everything is so beautifully done from the packaging (including a gorgeous little lavender bag inside the topper). Amazingly fast delivery all I can say is - faultless, so thank you Devon duvets - again.

I love the Devon Duvets' 300gsm wool (which I've been using for almost 3 years now) and 200gsm alpaca duvets I have, they are really well made, don't smell, don't get lumpy, and actually regulate my temperature. I've been using both tied together over autumn/winter and only recently removed one for summer. It might be weird, but I also think they sound really nice (they don't rustle as much as feather duvets, but are also not as quiet, in general, as synthetic ones).

Last month I also bought a wool mattress topper, but I decided to replace my entire mattress instead, so I attempted to return it via EVRI.

Unfortunately it went on a bit of a journey.

EVRI lost it in their system. I don't know how they managed it, but they delivered it to the company that made the box I'd packaged it in 2 weeks later.

The box company and I managed to get the mattress topper back to Devon Duvets and they still honoured the refund even though it was well over the 14 day return limit.

I really appreciate the help I got from Emma in trying to sort this out, thanks Devon Duvets :)

I have waited a while before writing.a review to give the king sized medium weight 600grms duvet purchased a couple of months ago the best trial to comment on. Delivery was within a few days of ordering and I cannot fault the quality and manufacturing of the duvet. It is extremely good, and the cotton cover smooth and does not have that crinkly noise some duvets have. Nor was there any smell. A nice touch is the little bag of Lavender tucked inside the duvet. The duvet has a nice loft to it and not the flattish style seen on other type of woolen quilts by different manufacturers.
However, I find the weight of the quilt too heavy for me and it can drag down the bed under its own weight. I have slept for 35 years between merino wool mattress toppers and overblanket. It was time for new so I was so looking forward to the duvet. But it makes me so hot and does not heat regulate very well, unlike my merino overblanket. I believe the cotton casings plus cotton duvet covers traps heat in. I should have possibly chosen the lighter weight duvet but hindsight is a wonderful thing and not being able to personally see and feel the weight of the duvet has added to buying the wrong thing, especially as most things are online ordering. As one lives on the other side of the country impossible to visit.
