Had a follow up call from Harry today and I am now feeling more confident about my purchases.
There is a huge amount to understand about bullion and I hadn’t really understood the difference between graded and ungraded and the added cost/value of having a certified coin.
Now armed with this information I am definitely more confident about my purchase.

I do think it’s important you explain the difference so you can compare like for like. I had not understood what I was purchasing.

I’ve now updated my review and I hope I can eventually give you another 5 star rating. But you will work for it!

I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the consultant James Byrne who guided me through the process of investment of what was my first purchase of gold. His approach was excellent and provided a detailed overview of all I needed.

Sorted out all my worries does what it says on the tin & blew away the competition...will be a returning investor..!!..best of advice and after purchase support...company rocks pity I cant give a ten star review...!!..

Being a novice at this Harry Higgs was keen enough to explain the whole operation - and as it was recommended by Nigel Farrage I proceeded with confidence - my order turned up as suggested - will buy again.

Spoke to James Burne and ordered gold coins. Four weeks and two non deliveries later gold still not turned up. Three phone calls to James resulted in no calls back.

This was my first experience with buying gold coins and approached direct bullion as a complete novice. I was assisted in this by James who was patient and courteous at all times. I found his advice to be not just helpful but in my case necessary. James offered me great patience and assisted me in making the best choice for me and my family. I can recommend James and the company for the assistance they gave me and would happily use them again.

we delt with James Byrne, spoke with him about coins very informative, talk through the options, asked him to call us back in a few days time, direct bullion brochure arrived, we decided to go ahead and purchase 3 coins, payment was made 4 days later the coins arrived, we would recommed direct bullion.

Everything went smoothly from first contact to delivery. Michael and his team were very professional and kept me informed with weekly telephone calls and updates. Delivery was within the time quoted when ordered and was able to be tracked. A very professional company with staff well informed and easy to talk to and good after sales service. James was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable but unlike many others I have come across in this sector he was not pushy or just trying to hard sell. I came away with the impression that he and the company care about you and building a relationship of trust is more important. Needless to say he got my business.

Rated as UK's No.1 Bullion Dealer...... Far from the truth. Ordered some gold 28th Feb, payment went out straight away, got an email confirmation but no AML or any other instructions as per your reply staring AML was requested at time of sale. Went on a weekend break abroad, came back, no parcel. Called and asked to speak to someone (since ordering confirmation no one called me as you stated, it was myself who chased up initially) was advised everyone busy and someone would get back to me. No one did. Then I received an email from someone called Georgina, I called left a message and finally got through to her. She advised that I needed to send my ID and complete AML form, did that straight away and called to confirm then I received an email saying despatching, 14/3 I missed a few calls as I work night and received an email from Lee Jones Operations Manager asking me to call him back to arrange delivery. I don't know what he needed to confirm as my delivery address was on the order and AML was sent. I emailed and requested a call after 3pm the same day, waited till 4pm and called the support number again, agent said he'll email and someone will get back to me. This company is far from UK's number 1 bullion dealer and I've read reviews that someone ordered gold and waited a month, then when the gold price went up their order was cancelled, if I could I wouldn't even give this company 1 star. I don't normally write reviews but this is a warning to anyone thinking this company values you as a customer, yes they are based in Londons W1 but that's it. Now Received email from Lee for suitable time to call. I've replied as I'm off work for a few days so I'm waiting for the call. Yes I did miss a few calls but I've returned calls only to be told no one is available, I've been chasing this up, however I've emailed multiple times and called multiple times.

Rather that trying to justify your companies actions by blaming the customer which to be honest is a bunch of jargon why don't you try and rectify the situation. In this instance the customer is right in my opinion.

Buyers you have been warned, go to bullionbypost, atsbullion, gold.co.uk or any other reputable company but stay away from this company. I've used the others in the past with great customer service and support. I thought as this company claims to be the best I'd try them out, not the best experience.

Update: Spoke to Lee, overall a nice guy but I didn't really want to get in a debate regarding the above. Arranged delivery date. Will update status in a few days.

Update: Order arrived with 2 follow up courtesy calls to ensure everything in order. Purchase I can't fault as it's a well known brand. Communication with customers needs to be addressed.
