My experience with direct bullion has been quite positive, as those dealing with my account have always been there to answer any questions and concerns, and are happy to refer me to other sources of information regarding their products .

Unsolicited emails. I've tried unsubscribing - I never signed up in the first place - but they're big time spamming me.

I would like to retract my previous review. My initial experience was not the best. However, Chris has taken over my account; alleviated the problem and delivered my order as promised. I am now happy to continue doing business with DB thanks to Chris.

I paid for Charles 111 Crowned gold coins. Very good at promises but not with deliveries. Been waiting since 20 July for my order. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Do not answer phone calls or emails. Now asking bank to intervene and reporting them to the police.

Communication is poor after payment received, this company could not give a delivery date, repeatedly failed to call back after promises to do so, and when pressed for a delivery date, they could only respond blaming me for not being patient. They received payment from me nine days ago and I still cannot get a delivery date. Good news the goods arrived on the 6th September nearly one month after I paid. Just glad it's over

Having bought a number of gold coins 5 years ago from Direct Bullion we decided to take a profit. My Account Manager Chris contacted the Buybacks Team and quickly provided a price that we were happy with, a profit of £650 per coin. It only took a few days to send coins and receive payment directly to my account. Great service.

Great firm, really good service, i was actually very impressed. Recently retired and wasn't sure what to do with my payout, gold seemed safe and tax-free which i was not aware.

The whole process took me about 3 weeks from start to finish. I took delivery of my coins and bars this morning and they look so much better in your hand than any online image.

I can't find any fault really so good all round.

I have been accumulating gold coins from Direct Bullion for 2 years now. Always communicating with Sean as I have always had the quickest responses and delivery. Direct Bullion are my only source I wouldn’t trust anyone else for physical gold.

Be very careful if you choose to buy from Direct Bullion. My husband and I had this experience.
They will smooth talk you into buying from them. Once they have your money their attitude towards you will change. They will be in no hurry to despatch your purchase to you. I had to get my Bank involved to get a refund because they would not post out the gold I had bought from them. They kept making excuses why this couldn't be done. They refused to give me a refund, but you are entitled to one despite what they say. There are much honest, reliable gold companies out there, especially Bullion House. In my opinion, stay well clear of Direct Bullion!!

I spoke to James Byrne at Direct Bullion in Nov and Dec 2021. James was extremely helpful and sorted out a great deal for me when delays were caused on my order by a foreign mint. I’m absolutely delighted with the gold coins supplied by Direct Bullion and the great help and advice from James.

A good company to deal with I only purchased digital gold AWG this was easy to do and their customer support was excellent when I had a query. I have no doubt that physical gold purchasing would be just as easy. I would use them again.

As a potential first time purchaser I found that the Manager with whom I spoke (Troy Genes) extremely helpful. He was able to answer all my questions in a courteous and professional manner. The benefits of buying coins or bars was explained in straightforward terminology, and any possible tax implications were discussed fully. He also offered to mail me a brochure, which arrived in a couple of days.
