We booked a DJ and sax player combo for our daughter's wedding at Ufton Court, Reading, last Sunday and the whole experience was brilliant.
The wedding was postponed from June 2021 due to Covid and they were happy to move the date for a fee.
We had a phone meeting a couple of weeks before the wedding to run through admin including what time the DJ and sax player would arrive at the venue to set up and to answer any questions we had.
My daughter and now son-in-law chose the playlist and Damon and the sax player (apologies, I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know his name) delivered! The playlists were great, encouraging so many people up on to the dance floor and the sax player made it even more special.
Both families and all the guests had a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable evening. We wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so much, Earcandy!

We used Ear Candy for our wedding on Tuesday and are so glad we did. DJ Damo was amaaaazing and really worked with the energy in the room (as well as playing some bangers!). I arranged a sax player as a surprise to my husband to be and he loved it! James, our sax player was brilliant!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing fantastic entertainment from DJ and Sax at our sons wedding. The music had everyone up on the dance floor from the very start. Such a unique experience of the saxophonist mingling with the guests as he was playing and they were dancing … fabulous memories made!! Thank you so much Earcandy!!

Recently had the pleasure of listening to DJ and sax at a recent wedding. WOW! Great song choices, hugely fun and entertaining! Really suited the vibe of the wedding. Definitely recommend

We had Motown gold at our wedding and they were absolutely unbelievable. The crowd interaction and pure joy they brought to the set absolutely made our night. We had skinny king straight after the ceremony into the drinks reception and it immediately turned the day into a party, rather than the usual lull that you get after the confetti and before the champagne it set the tone for the rest of the day being fun and a celebration. The team were great when we had to reschedule due to Covid.

So far not so good.
I've made the reservation 3 months ago for a DJ to come and perform at our wedding.
It was really easy to make the reservation but with only a week left to the wedding I still haven't heard from the DJ and also cannot find him online.
Every time I try to call Earcandy I get to chat with someone that has no knowledge of what's happening and keep telling me "we will let the team know and they will reach out to you". No one haven't reach out yet.

Absolutely poor company.

Would not book with them again.

Damo & Sax were absolutely AWESOME at our wedding on 27.5.22 at Botley’s Mansion in Chertsey. They kept the atmosphere alive the whole evening - everyone said how epic they were 🤩

They played every song that I requested and made sure that everything was perfect for our first dance & Father-daughter dance. They made sure that there was something for everyone and were both SO lovely.

DJ Damo and Saxophonist done my wedding last Sunday at West Tower.

They were absolutely amazing! Had everyone up dancing! My legs still haven't recovered, what a great time I had! Haven't danced like that in years!

Very friendly and accommodating in the buildup which put mine and the wife's mind at ease. On the day, didn't even notice them set up! All of the party have fed back to me about how good DJ Damo and the Saxophonist were, they really made the night of our wedding special.

Definitely recommend DJ Damo and Saxophonist for anyone who wants a special evening. We will definitely hire again in future for any big events! Thanks

What a party! We booked DJ Damo & Saxophonist for our wedding, and our experience with them both was fantastic.

DJ Damo got in touch a few weeks before the event to talk about the type of vibe we wanted, and he was incredibly accommodating and understood exactly what we were going for. He followed up on WhatsApp with a playlist for us to take a look at with songs that worked well, to help us curate our own to send back.

On the day, the act arrived promptly and were incredibly professional - we didn’t even hear them set up! For our first dance, everyone was surprised when the saxophonist came out mid way through, it was a brilliant touch.

DJ Damo read the room perfectly, and the Saxophonist was always amongst the crowd. Ibiza hour was our favourite! Never have I seen so many people up dancing at a wedding before. Even my 95 year old uncle had his glow stick and whistle in hand, not wanting to miss out on any of the spectacular evening.

The next day we had messages about achy legs, and glowing compliments on what a brilliant party they put on for us. Could not recommend more highly. Thank you guys you really made our day!

Kev was the DJ at our wedding with a Sax player! They Both were amazing!!
The vibe was amazing and the music got everyone dancing even when we had such a wide age group.
I did give Kev a play list to play at my wedding which he did play all my song then went on to play more which he throught I would like and I definitely did!!
Unfortunately at my wedding our photographer let us down massively!!But kev had taken many videos of us all dancing which he put together in an amazing video for me which honestly saved my day!!
I can't thank him enough and I would highly recommend

We booked both a band and DJ with sound engineer as a package through Ear candy, so pleased I did, the band Soul Fresh and the DJ Kev Williams were a massive hit!. As soon as the band came on the floor was full, everyone loved the selection of music and the sound quality was perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, all booking and process was easy. Thanks again to all involved, and thanks for a very memorable night.

Earcandy were efficient and easy to deal with. Our DJ, Jake, was brilliant. Leading up to the event he contacted us in plenty of time to discuss the set, including order of the day and what music we wanted to be played. He provided an outstanding set, reading the crowd brilliantly and kept them moving all night. Couldn't have asked for more.

Original dealings with ear candy when booking were great very responsive etc. once the booking was made and money paid neither me nor my venue heard from them I had to ring 4 weeks prior to my wedding to check they were still coming as no one had contacted me or the venue still. They also added an extra £40 onto my final payment to which I queried a few weeks before the wedding and received no reply so on the night the act expected a different amount to what I had agreed to in the contract, they were lovely and said not to worry and they would sort it. On no the night non of the performers we had seen in the promo vids etc that we were under the impression we were booking turned up, instead three other artists who were in non of the photos, videos or voice recordings advertised on their website and were in our opinion of a lower standard to what were advertised, before booking we looked at so many other acts through other agencies and directly and I honestly wish we had gone with one of those. We chose Motown gold frontline specifically as they were so much better then any others we had seen so we went ahead booked and splurged on something we thought would be the best party of our wedding only to be disappointed.. Had we been made aware that non of the performers advertised would turn up at our wedding we definitely would not have booked as they are the people whose voices we loved.. Please book through someone else or with acts directly themselves so you ensure you get what you wanted and thought we’re booking in the first place as these do not deserve a penny of anyones money!!!!

Great personnel, very efficient, gave all the info I needed, was quick and easy to make a decision and book. Thank you Earcandy!

The great:

Jake was our DJ for an extended 8 hour set at our wedding - the centrepiece of our afternoon and evening entertainment for 80 people, he was playing to an expectant crowd that knew what great sounded like.

And he smashed it.

A filled dancefloor all night, read the audience and reacted accordingly, built up the vibe through the night and mixed in requests. Exactly what you want.

In advance of the set, Jake made us feel at ease with great comms through messaging in the weeks prior and a pre-event video call.

The not great:
In contrast to Jake's excellent comms in advance and work on the day, the broader EarCandy team went silent on us after we signed the contract and paid up. We felt completely dropped.

For example, we were only contacted by the 'Entertainment Coordinator' (provided only in the more expensive package) from EarCandy a couple of days in advance asking for a catch-up (can you call it a catch-up if you've not contacted someone before?).

The experience on the call was one of a person given a checklist and a time limit - with little interest in doing anything more than going through the motions.

Fortunately, we'd been chatting back and forth with Jake directly in advance and he was on point, personable and professional.

So a 5-star rating for him. 2-3 for EarCandy.

Brilliant wedding night DJ & Sax from Kev Williams and Emma on Sax.
They both stuck to the ibiza genres we asked for but also read the room and adapted to suit all guests and delivered tune after tune!

Our guests of all ages were raving about the surprise Sax and how good Emma was, everyone loved how she was performing on the dance floor and mixing with guests - bringing the ibiza vibe to the night!

Kev was great and easy to arrange plans with Before the day - great guy and great character on the night! He sent a decent montage of the night too which was good to look back on.

Hopefully I don't have another wedding, but if I had a birthday or function/do again, wouldn't hesitate in getting Kev and Emma back!

DJ Damon absolutely nailed my music for my wedding. I sent a few song choices through and Damon completely got the music I wanted. We chatted before and he got the vibe I wanted. The dance floor was constantly full and was tune after tune. Top class DJ
