I purchased a Panasonic DPUB820EBK 4K UHD on the 30th December 2021.

I received this on 4th January 2022

It was immediately apparent that it was faulty on HDR playback with snow over the entire screen, Dolby vision was displaying well. To test my equipment I set my existing Sony x700 to HDR and the display was perfect.

I called to report the issue on the 7th January @9:45 and was told someone would get back to me later with a stock update. (this didn't happen)
I called again @16:54 and as no stock was available asked for a refund which I was told would be once the item was returned.
The item was collected by Royal Mail on the 11th January.

17th January I emailed to see if it had arrived, this was confirmed
21st January I emailed to ask for an update (no reply)
26th January I emailed asking when I would get my refund (no reply)
28th January I called to see what was happening and was told the item had a scuff and would be graded stock, I reiterated that this was returned due to a fault and I should get a full refund.

So far apart from the email reply on the 17th January all contact has been initiated by myself which I find to be totally unacceptable. They have had the item since the 12th of January and I am still awaiting my refund almost 3 weeks later.

Good price, deleivered in time, well pagaged, comunication good so can't fault it.

I have ordered a tumble dryer from this company to be delivered in a weeks time. I have had reason to check on my delivery and can only say that the response from customer service was excellent , very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I will post another review after my delivery but so far I am very pleased with the communication from them. I deal with a lot of companies on a daily basis and hick ups happen but so far so good.

I bought a Miele vacuum cleaner on 2nd December which were apparently in stock at the time. I have had no update on the order and every time I call to find out where it is, I am told that they will get back to me. This is the worst experience I've ever had buying on line and I will,0 without doubt avoid this lot in the future.

Great price for a great machine, hard to find elsewhere. I got the last one in stock, came promptly with notification beforehand, and they helped me out with a TopCashback discount issue. The machine works a treat too. What can I say? Don't be afraid to support smaller chains and independent businesses. Electrical Discount UK seem very well established and good to do business with. Give them a go!

First and definitely the last time I will ever use this company. Waited all day for a delivery however nothing arrived, not even a phone call or email telling me it's not arriving. Next day, I decided to call customer services and all they could do is apologise as there was glitch on their system, it's not in stock but will be soon, blah blah blah. Seriously, what a waste of time. Now I need to wait either 3-5 days for a refund or another 7 days for delivery of item. I would stay clear away from this organisation, even as good will they could have offered a small discount or something other than "I am sorry". Had I not called today, they certainly would not have called me.

Painful, put through two orders glitch both times saying no cart (despite my credit card verifying the transaction). Tried to write via their messaging system, - error message! didn't send. Spent 12 mins on hold saying I was no 1 in queue. Phoned back got disconnected, phoned again and told the item was out of stock but I had best check the card payment wasn't taken. What a total waste of time, would never use again.

I purchased a fridge from electrical discount uk which stopped working within the first few weeks. I’ve been fobbed off and told this is Samsung’s problem and Samsung are worse than useless , I’m getting nowhere trying to get it replaced via them even though their own engineers have confirmed it is unrepairable.

3 months later I still don’t have a working fridge

Don’t buy from them unless you’re happy to throw your money away if what you buy is faulty.

The company held off refunding me as long as they possibly could I had to continue chasing well after the fridge was returned

They damaged my floors and walls trying to get the fridge out of my house and are lying and denying any damage was done.

This is an unethical and dodgy company- I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you spend your hard earned money somewhere else where you will receive quality - not off the back of a truck -products and any sort of customer service.

After a failed delivery I made several attempts to resolve and Discount UK couldn't give me any information.

They then claimed the delivery company were re-delivering that day despite not speaking to me. Needless to say it didn't arrive and I had to seek a refund more than 3 weeks after my initial purchase.

There was nothing that could resemble customer service and I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing from here.

On the down side they took payment on the basis of a 3-10 day delivery, which they couldn't do as it wasn't in stock and they couldn't say when it would be. On the upside they refunded quickly when asked.

Excellent telephone customer service - answered promptly and gave me the reassurance and answer I needed about delivery timing and logistics - impeccable manner.
Ditto two lovely chaps delivered my heavy fridge right up to top floor flat and were determined to get it up the tight stairway unharmed. Thank you!

Our TV has just been delivered and it is the incorrect model. Please can this be sorted ASAP

Excellent service very fast delivery. Ordered on the Tuesday night and delivered on the Friday afternoon. very happy. The price for the TV was very competitive as well and added bonus was cashback using the topcashback website. The Driver called me on the Friday morning to confirm the time he would deliver and on the actual delivery he was very professional.
