Efficient customer focused
I ordered my oak doors which arrived efficiently. Unfortunately the doors they were the wrong size. I rang them up. Emerald were very apologetic. The following day they were collected and replaced. So no problem. High quality doors. I would recommend.

Just had my bespoke fire doors delivered, and they look stunning even better then the pictures. Will definitely be buying the rest of the doors for the upstairs very soon.

Ordered a few pocket Doors whilst redoing my house. First of all the prices. The team at Emerald Doors were very diligent in ensuring that they got me the best prices. Special mention to Sarah who helped me in choosing the doors suited to my needs.

We were looking for internal oak bi-fold doors - both glazed and solid and Emerald doors had a good selection. The ordering and delivery process was very smooth and the door arrived well packaged and is of good quality. We will be buying more doors from them.

Great customer service. My Madison double internal doors arrived promptly and in excellent condition.
They are good quality and look absolutely fabulous. Even my joiner was impressed.

The ordering process was easy and everything was delivered in a reasonable time. Unfortunately the quality of the manufacture of the door was not as good as the ones I had purchased some 6 yrs earlier.

Once again , and within 24 hours the sales team at Emerald doors has come up trumps. A great sales team with a great phone manner. Nothing is to much trouble for them. we would definitely recommend both the team and the quality of the product.

Absolute fraud DONT BUY…

I bought a "Norfolk grand entrance" from these guys. please do not make the same mistake. the frame is clearly NOT oak and is actually 3 different colours with some of it looking green. they claim on the site that final finishes will rectify colour differences but this is not the case. Originally offered a refund but then chaged their minds. Clueless and should be avoided

I was looking to purchase a pair of interior double doors for my home, I liked the look of the reeded glass double doors Emerald Doors offered as it was unique. Upon ordering the doors they delivered the wrong doors and the glass was not fluted. After a lot of back and forth the best they could offer was money back for the difference of the doors I received (which were cheaper) and the doors I was supposed to get. This was despite before buying the doors I was reassured by their salesmen that their customer service is premium - this was the response I got when I tried to get them to pricematch (as per their website) and hence the premium price of their doors.
I would urge people to not fall for their salesmen trap and purchase from a cheaper, and more reputable company. This company is a scam with terrible customer service, not to mention they can not deliver what they promise.
Also I had written a review on a website Emerald Doors use for their reviews (Ekomi) but it didn't get posted, and so it seems to be the case they manipulate their reviews by using a company who isn't independent. I had even attached my invoice and shown all correspondence containing proof of emails with Emerald Doors Support of the above situation and the review is nowhere to be seen. This is why I have written this review a month after the situation concluded. This all confirms the lack of credibility of this company.

Excellent company for doors. Had a few concerns about height upon purchasing a French door and they kindly solved the issue by giving me the perfect height for the doors. Excellent choice if you need some doors

We had a new front door 18 months ago
They fitted it quickly and although we have had to have hinges adjusted a couple of times due to door not closing properly they have always been quick and reliable.

Spent over £1000 for doors and handles before the Christmas holidays. One door frame was damaged and handles no longer required. The company was closed during the Christmas period and no advise given on website how to rectify issues with orders. Once office was reopen the company refused to resolve the matter due to time lapse. Seeked advise from trading standards and sent several emails with no reply from the company as yet. Very disappointing service!

Another bad experience

Orders £2000 of doors after being informed there were “several hundred” in stock. This was the Friday before the august bank holiday. Placed an online order on the Sunday.

On the Tuesday I received a call to advise they had all sold out before my order had been received (!) and delivery would be delayed by 6-8 weeks. Not being urgent I accepted.

Middle October I have followed up by email 3 times in last 2 weeks for update. No response.

This morning I called and spoke to a lady who couldn’t have sounded less interested, but nonetheless went away to ask a colleague and promised a call within an hour with an update. Suffice to say, no call back.

I will try again on Monday but urge people to be careful if deciding to use this company. I certainly wouldn’t again.

*Red Flag Warning*

Our experience with Emerald Doors was absolutely appalling from start to finish. The product quality and customer service were absolutely shocking, with absolutely zero customer care being shown at all.

Our doors arrived damaged. The driver dropped ours, plus 10 other doors, off his lorry outside of our flat - causing chips to the paint, dents in the wood and scratches on the handles. The driver didn't log this in his log book (surprisingly...), and Emerald Doors tried to claim that, because he hadn't logged it, they could take no responsibility. That was until we showed them photo evidence.

When we first tried to contact Emerald Doors, we received no response, so we had no choice but to hang the doors as we had nowhere else to store them, our bedroom needed doors and our builders had to move on to their next project. Once we did get hold of Emerald Doors, they tried to claim that, because our builders had hung the doors, there was nothing they could do in terms of replacing the damaged doors.

After a month or so, the doors also began to warp. The paint started bubbling, and alongside the dents and chips from when they had been dropped off the lorry, they looked terrible. The quality in general was shocking, and not worth a penny.

We informed Emerald Doors that the doors started to warp and that they were damaged on delivery, and they offered us a £25 voucher. They tried to claim that it was our fault for not finishing the doors correctly, but nowhere in our comms with Emerald Doors had we been told that the doors would warp if we didn't finish them ourselves.

Despite all of this, Emerald Doors refused to offer replacement doors, or offer any sort of compensation beyond a £25 voucher (the doors cost more than £500). We are left with damaged, warping doors, absolutely zero responsibility being taken by Emerald Doors, and absolutely nowhere to turn. The customer service has been laced with a distinct lack of empathy or care and we are left with a very bitter taste.

Do not buy doors from Emerald Doors. The quality is not good, and you are not in safe hands should anything go wrong. They do not have your best interest at heart, their communication is terrible, they don't answer the phone, and they will blame the customer for any issues at every chance they can.

Purchased an external fire door, pre-fitted in frame from Emerald doors. £1,500

- lock in door and opening in frame did not line up (came pre-assembled, no installer issue)
- very difficult to open as door does not sit straight in frame. Top of door leans on frame
- screws sitting proud on the bottom of the door
- door is lowering over time. Screws on bottom of door now hit

Emerald doors do not accept responsibility for any of this. They say that the faults must be from installation, but I find it hard to believe that in the process of placing the frame and pre-fitted door in the opening they
- added some random screws to the bottom and left them proud
- weakened the frame
- moved the door down a couple millimeters

I have not before felt the need to leave a bad review for any supplier, but for Emerald Doors I will make the exception.
I ordered a door with plus weather bar to be delivered to a working construction site. It was a last minute decision on the part of the client to replace a door and so I paid a significant amount of money for next day delivery. It didn't arrive. No call or apologies.
When it finally did arrive 3 days after "next day" it was damaged, but as the door was so late the carpenter on site had no option but to repair and fit it. The weather bar didn't arrive at all. After yet another call or two, it finally arrived several days later and we had to return to site to fit it. For over a month now I have been asking for the next day delivery charges to be refunded. I had one initial email confirming that accounts had been notified. I have emailed several more times, have had no further communication, the monies have not been refunded and at no point was I offered any compensation for what was a shocking experience which caused me considerable inconvenience.
In times where really good long-standing businesses have failed to survive, I really have no idea how Emerald Doors continues to do so. If you are purchasing for trade and need doors to arrive in a timely manner and expect some level of customer service, I would strongly recommend that you go elsewhere.
If I could leave zero stars I would.
