I signed up with Florence thinking I would be able to get the odd shifts at least once a week, or so. Paid for DBS to be waiting since September 2025- March 2026. If I wasn’t accepted why let me pay for the DBS out of my pocket to be reimbursed when I complete my first 2 shifts. Pls the process is a gamble. You have to pay for dbs upfront without knowing if you will be accepted for shifts. Not worth losing £61.00 for an unsure situation. UK one

Incredible support and understanding

No help whatsoever whenever you have problems at the location.
The same “we are sorry” and nothing to resolve the problem NOTHING!!

Is basically if you don’t want to be there because is really bad you risk to be suspended or if you have another shift there that you don’t want to work because of safety concerns you need to cancel it and get your rate down in the app.

Rate that goes down not just for reliability but the performance during the shift as well.

The only good thing is that they have shifts in my area but otherwise no support at all.

I was posted to a great care home where the carers & senior carer were very supportive.

Worked with a good team , got supported and didn’t find myself lost. Am so thankful.

Pourtant domiciliée en IdF, très peu de missions (interessantes) disponibles proches de mon domicile.
Application hors d'usage sans la moindre notification: bah oui, mon passeport avait expiré... j'avais oublié!
Lorsque je clique sur les sms, je trouve plusieurs missions dans l'un des établissements que je connais bien, si je vais sur l'appli et je clique sur l'établissement directement: "0 mission disponible".
Moi vacataire, je suis notée mais impossible de noter les établissements!
Franchement, c'est pas au point, c'est pas ergonomique et c'est pas pratique par rapport aux autres appli que je ne vais pas nommer ici.

Le seul point positif: le service répond rapidement.

Application qui ne fonctionne pas... on ne peut pas laisser de message... 3 jours et les documents fournis sont tjs en attente de validation! Il ne se passe absolument rien! Très déçue. On ne sait même pas si nos documents sont en sécurité!!!

The team was incredibly kind and compassionate
It was a pleasure to see how well the team worked together. The positive energy really made my first shift a much better experience. They create positive working environment and made me feel welcomed throughout my shift.

The shift was okay. Care home staff were supportive

The staff of are quite lovely. They work very hard to meet the needs of their employees. There is a good liaison between Florence and most of the care homes they work with. Infact, Florence is very supportive to people everyone who is seeking to get onboard with them.

My first shift experience with Florence was great I worked with a reliable team at ferrylee home care. The induction training was helpful and great

It took me time to become a member of the Florence team but it was worth every single wait. The verification process was thoroughly done and I did my first shift which was very good. Good job guy.

System was simple and easy to use and communication has been amazing if I had any issues if they weren’t answered the day I asked I would receive a response very early the next day

They have good supportive staffs who are accommodating and friendly.

The company is doing well in all aspects of information they convey

It was a wonderful experience starting from the app that checked me in on resumption, tbe people i worked with treated me as if I am a regular staff.
The app and reminder messages and invites on app and email was awesome. I am proud to be part of this great company.
