I am writing this review to warn other business owners about the deceptive practices and absolute lack of support from Fuelman.
Doing business with this company has been one of the worst operational experiences I have encountered.
1. Misleading Discount Rates
During the initial sales and sign-up process, I was explicitly promised a discount of $0.08 off per gallon. However, once the final billing statements arrived, the actual discount applied was only $0.02 per gallon.
2. Unauthorized Monthly Fee Overcharges
My signed service agreement explicitly states a monthly fee of $39. Despite this binding contract, Fuelman has consistently billed my account $79 per month.
3. Completely Inaccessible Customer Support
Attempting to resolve these billing discrepancies has been impossible. Customer service response times range anywhere from 72 hours to two full weeks. Because the company is entirely unreachable, I was forced to pay these incorrect, inflated balances in full simply to protect my company’s credit rating from being damaged.
4. Unprocessed Account Termination Requests
Due to these ongoing issues, I sent a formal email requesting the immediate termination of my account. As of today, the company has still failed to confirm or process the account closure.
Conclusion:
Fuelman has failed to honor their contract, overcharged my business, and provided zero communication to resolve the matter. I strongly advise other businesses to look elsewhere for their fleet fuel card needs. Avoid this company.

Absolute Nightmare for Fleet Management – Avoid at All Costs
As a primary service provider for AAA, our drivers absolutely cannot afford to be stranded without fuel due to a poorly managed system. Unfortunately, that is exactly what you get here.
The customer service is a complete joke, and the management of their system is abysmal. If access to fuel is mandatory for your business operations, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
We have temporarily shifted our fleet over to Discover Credit Cards for fuel purchases.
Ironically, using standard Discover cards saves us more money at the pump—and in general—than Mr. Fuelman/Corpay ever did.
We are actively vetting other dedicated Fleet Fuel Cards to replace this service permanently. If you value your sanity, your finances, and your operational uptime, use anyone else.

Terrible customer service that talk in circles but never answering or fixing the problem. First we got charged over 1300 fee for a late charge (bill is paid every week) The website that you log into pay sends you to another website which never has the correct amount owed. We not only get charged a ridiculous amount of a late fee (never late)now we are paying risk based pricing. We called and thought it was taken care of as the lady sent me an email saying that risked base pricing was stopped and fees returned. Never happened, called two other times and finally thought this gentleman who spent over an hour on the phone with would at least be able to return 6,000 of the 9,000 charges be removing and returning the risk based pricing fees from when they sent the email to resind. Has been over 6 months since the first call and still no return of the money owed. Absolute worst fuel card ever!!!

If you value customer service, communication, or honesty DO NOT work with Fuelman or Corpay. We paid our bill (which was at less than 30% of our limit) EARLY. Due to a glitch with our new banks website, the wire did not go through. Without informing us, the shut off our account (again, payment not due for another 2 weeks). When they did reach out to inform us (after cards had stopped working...) we immediately corrected the situation and the wire went through. We were told they could not turn the cards back on for 2-3 days. We were told we could not talk to a 'supervisor' or manager, but that they would contact us. After receiving no contact we reached back out. They confirmed the payment had gone through but that only a supervisor could re-activate the cards. We told them we needed to speak to a supervisor immediately to have the cards reinstated as it was affecting our ability to operate our business. After an hour, they finally agreed to transfer us to a supervisor 'they had been talking without throughout the situation' only to be placed on hold and directed to another employee who, after a few questions, admitted they were not a supervisor and could not resolve the problem. They also a supervisor would reach out to us when available. When pressed, they said there was only ONE PERSON who could help and they were busy and would contact us later. When told this would lead to the end our business relationship, they said that was the best option because no supervisor would talk to us or could help us. Multiple additional attempts to get the problem resolved have not received a response, up to and including calls to Corpay's corporate office. In the 35 years our company has been in business, we have never been treated with this much disrespect by a vendor...and all as the result of our PAYING EARLY.

I would give Fuelman less than one star if that were possible.
My experience has been extremely disappointing. Customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful, making even simple issues unnecessarily difficult to resolve. More concerning, after requesting to cancel my account, it was not properly closed. Charges continued to accrue despite cancellation, and the situation escalated to being sent to collections.
This level of service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on how customers are treated. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution and carefully review all account activity if you choose to do business with them.
Overall, a frustrating and costly experience that I would not recommend.

And try to have a solution for you.. thats very good... some companies.. they dont even care about your porblems..

I had a card being declined due to suspicious activity from the fraud department.
I did not receive a email from the fraud team to verify the transaction by yes or no. The email should be sent timely for my response, not the next day. This is the second time in three days that this has occurred. A inactive card when in need is detrimental to our transport system.

When using the map to find a location , I have yet to arrive to a location that is both open and accepts fuel man. Please update the map as it is not up to date. Had to spend cash to get enough fuel to reach a location known to accept fuelman.

The reps I've dealt with have been professional, I am still waiting for my fraud case to be looked at and its causing me to not be able to work until its resolved.

This is a great company. The agents are very professional, patient, kind, helpful, and understanding. The service is great and I plan on working with them as long as possible. Great products as well. Very convenient for business.

Fuelman is really one of the worst companies I’ve dealt with being in my own business. Their billing practices are unethical. For three payments in a row they took more than the bill. It would end up with me getting a credit which is fine. I wound up with $8000 in credits. I didn’t pay one invoice then a second invoice. They suspended my cards without warning. When I called them to find out why my cards were suspended they said for non payment. For 10 minutes I tried to explain I had a negative balance. The woman would not listen. After a couple of days and finally figuring it out, they said they would not be reinstating my cards because of how I spoke to the customer service representative. I urge you to stay away from this company. I’d rather Zelle my employees then to use a company like this.

Theres a monthly fee and i was initially told payments were due monthly. Company charges 99$ late fees on any transactions after week so if don’t pay attention you could get 4 late fees in one month. This set up is a scam

It's pretty embarrassing and childish really. I ended up reporting them to the attorney general for my state. Had the account for a few years. Monthly fee (no usage - just a monthly fee - racking up while they found the account cancellation department apparently at the south pole.) These guys are clowns.
