I have been a faithful Fuelman card holder (builderpro) for many years. The weather here was bad and I got behind and they took my account and put a lock on my account. After business picked up I called and paid my balance in full (about 4 weeks ago). I have not used my card in over 3 months. I get an email this week that I owe 89.90 current invoice while I have not been able to use my card. I called customer service said I needed to talk to finance dept and finance dept told me I needed to talk to customer service. Called back customer service to speak to a supervisor to be told I need to speak with finance. Noone is able to tell me what that charge is and why it is on there but that I owe it. How can I owe it when I have not used my card in over 3 months. But each one was able to tell me that my card was locked..like I didn't already know that!!! My temper got the best of me talking with them and keep wanting to transfer me. Hard to understand them speaking!!!!

Horrible customer service! 3 months of setting up auto pay. Each call took 1 hour. Auto pay was never set up. They attempted to charge me ridiculous late fees even though they had set up the auto pay that never worked. Try to cancel you may have to call multiple times.
Look elswhere trust me. What a hassle they have been. They promise to remove fees then add them back on next invoice. We had better experiences with WEX for sure. Currently using multi user standard business visa cards. Less tracking ability but no hassles.

This company will fee you to death. Their invoices/statements are not concise or easily understood. It takes about 20 minutes on the phone to get someone to speak with. I have found multiple mischarges on the bill when compared to receipts. They make it hard for their customers because they are only out to make as much money as they can get out of you.

Their BILLING IS HOOOORRRIIBBBLLEE. Their website and app is NOT USER FRIENDLY and there is a delay when making payments. I pay my invoice on the day that it drops. I called on the 19th, when invoice generated, Wawa told to make a payment of $97, made the payment, now they telling me I was late because my bill was due on the 23rd for $140. So, I ask how the hell I get penalized for 100 late fee when so paid what you told me to pay…. Let’s just say, they can’t answer that question! I have my paperwork and I will be moving to the next steps to take action. They need to be stopped with these excessive fees! $100 bucks is OUT OF POCKET!!!!!

Customer Service Agent Dominique was very helpful. She took her time to explain my charges on my account and helped me understand why I was receiving those charges. She submitted tickets to help upgrade my account and her patience was amazing. Because of her I decided to stay with Fuelman.

My call was sent to Norma and she was able to address my problem with billing by giving us more days to pay, which resolved our issue with late payments. She was professional and friendly and was able to get a quick resolution.

What an awful experience!
What was supposed to be a help with day-to-day operations was anything but easy.
We were given multiple cards for each vehicle in our fleet. Only one worked while the other cards did not.
I called on several occasions to address the issues. I was informed that a team member would reach out to help resolve the issue on each occasion. To no avail, I never received the professional courtesy of a phone call back.
When I signed up, I was told there were three stations within my town that we could utilize the Fuelman card. Only one of the three listed gas stations worked, and more notably, only one diesel pump worked with the card out of two pumps offered.
Their account site is a joke! I was informed at the beginning this would be like, "One-stop shopping". It was anything but that. Whenever I would try to retrieve information to see what card was declined at the pump and not working, there was never anything I could tangibly retrieve. Trying to collect reports was also an issue.
I am also quite computer savvy; however, their site is anything but user friendly. I attempted to make a payment online and thought the transaction had gone through. When I started to receive multiple phone calls that my payment was late, I realized something was amiss. When I went to investigate the situation, I noticed I was charged a $109 late fee. Mind you, we're talking about a payment that was a week past due. The amount was for $480. This is absurd!!! Their fees are outrageous!
I am more than disappointed with the entire experience! If anyone reading this post is looking to use a card fleet service for gas, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Save yourself time, money, and the aggravation!!!

Extremely disappointed in your product. I have been a customer and current on all my my statements. Today because of the “financial situation” my account was reviewed and lost credit and now billed on a 7 day period. For the record my account right now has a balance of -587 meaning a credit. So not behind on anything actually paid more than I owed. This just seems shady as hell. Oh not to mention at $35 service fee for having g the card, monthly! Yep back to a regular credit card instead of some fleet card that was suppose to help small businesses. Just another fraudulent company praying on the blue collar worker.

As a small business owner, I rely on dependable service providers to help keep operations running smoothly. Unfortunately, my experience with Fuelman has been nothing short of frustrating.
Recently, my bank experienced software issues that impacted payments. The bank acknowledged the issue, confirmed that we had sufficient funds, and even provided a letter stating they would cover any late or service fees. Despite this, Fuelman refused to listen, disregarded the explanation, and showed no willingness to work with me to resolve the situation.
To make matters worse, the customer service representative I spoke with was dismissive, unhelpful, and even hung up on me. Instead of offering support or understanding, they showed a complete lack of concern for how this situation affected my business. As a result, I was left scrambling for a week, dealing with unnecessary disruptions.
Good customer service is about listening and problem-solving—Fuelman failed on both counts. I cannot recommend them to other business owners who need a fuel provider they can count on in critical moments.

I am 100 % to blame for the account being late. I explained to them that one of my biggest customers just stiffed me for $23k those words fell on deaf ears. I attempted to pay 30% of the balance today 2-17-2025 but I canceled the payment purley based on Marcine R Mclarity attitude. She is a NASTY individual to speak with. She calls her attitude being firm. I call it being a B word. Marcine R Mclarity should be terminated from your office. She make you look horrible.
I have nothing to gain by making this account current if you are going to put it on my personal credit. Once Marcine R McClarity stated my $1k payment would not keep the account from moving to the next step i have no reason to pay it current if that's how you want to play.
The fees associated with fleetcore are predatory and way out of control. $1,000 late fee for a $3,500 balance. They are not easy to deal with at all. If i could go back the 2.5yrs I've had this account I would. I've paid over $80k in fuel the last few years with tons of fees attached. You don't save any money by using this product. Can't wait to go to ARBITRATION with them it's gonna be fun.

Awful. They change your credit amounts, they change when your bill is due. Bad customer support. Terrible experience. I'm going back to WEX.

The customer service is completely inadequate, unhelpful, and insensitive. I was told I would receive a call back within 24 hours after contacting customer service. More than a week later, still no call. If you ask to speak to someone in upper management, they act as though it doesn't exist. There's no solid contact that will help rectify my issue!

Upon thorough review of billing statements, we found fuel pump receipts were consistently invoiced at $.03 to $.20 per gallon higher than actual purchase price. Our original inquiry as to the additional $.45 per gallon tax assessed on fuel (pump price already includes all taxes) has yet to be addressed.
