We’ve been trying to pay our com data bill for 2 months!! We got locked out of our online account and when I called I kept getting transferred from one person to the next and they couldn’t find my account. I called multiple times and the same thing kept happening. So finally today the person that barely spoke English finally found the account and surprise surprise, it’s been turned over to collections. We own the company and we tried to pay the bill. Oh and the bill also has an extra $3000 added to it. We will obviously have to sue to fix this.

0 STARS for this Company. Agreeing to sign on and use the Fuel Cards when a persistent "Broker" from England Logistics Inc. bombarded me with emails and phone calls was ONE OF THE WORS DECISIONS I HAVE EVER MADE IN TRUCKING!
We were hesitant to use the cards, but were promised by the Broker that he would get us HUGE savings compared to our other fuel fleet card company. We decided we would start off with 1 card to see if the savings would be worth it. We had a total of 6 cards, but didn't want to use them until we had some idea how it would benefit us. THANK GOD we didn't.
As a fleet owner, I can tell you Comdata is extremely unreliable, unsupportive and contributes to the continued fraud on fleet owner cards.
We discovered the one card we were using was being used fraudulently and brought it to their attention. We filed the forms to Dispute the transactions and asked them to Block the card. We held off on closing the account so we could wait for a response from their Fraud Department. Our Claim was denied and were told that all transactions were ours. Even when I shared proof that they were not. During the time we were waiting for a response, and the card in question was blocked, a transaction occurred. I called and asked them how that happened since the card was blocked and I was told by Cusotmer Service that someone from England had unblocked the card, the fuel was purchased, and then the card was blocked again. WHO AUTHORIZED THE CARD TO BE UNBLOCKED? The card was sitting on my desk and not being used at all!
Their cards are very susceptible to fraud — even if you report an unauthorized transaction the same day it happens, they still charge your account. They deny your Disputes and they do not provide any type of support. Our Account Manager wouldn't take my calls and would not assist in any way.
On top of that, phone agents rarely have the correct information, so you often have to call multiple times to resolve even simple issues. Email support is just as bad — responses can take days, and sometimes they never reply at all.
Overall, the combination of poor fraud handling, terrible customer support, slow response times, and minimal benefits makes Comdata very difficult to rely on for fleet operations. I would not recommend it to any trucking company. BEWARE OF ENGLAND BROKERS AND COMDATA. They are here to take your money and look the other way when you seek assistance and support.

Two weeks ago, I was told I could get a card through the app. It never arrived. When I called today, agents couldn't even find my account using my username, email, phone number, or card request information.
The incompetence reaches catastrophic levels. I was given entirely contradictory instructions by different agents—one even advised me to delete my account, only for me to find out later that it was a mistake and I had to restore it.
Reaching a supervisor is practically impossible. But it gets worse. I spoke with another agent who gave me false assurance, stating that I had another option: I could simply take the express code to a bank, and they would process it. I asked her twice if she was 100% sure the bank could process these codes, and she confirmed it absolutely. Trusting this information, I went to the bank, only for the bankers to look at me like an idiot. One of them had never even heard of the company, and the other said they had seen such checks before but had no idea how they worked, as they are bankers, not a check-cashing service. Their staff lacks basic training, offers conflicting information, constantly drops calls, and makes up solutions out of thin air.

If I could give them zero stars i would. Had my account drained and only was given back half of what was stolen. I needed a list of the disputed charges from them for a police report and they refused to provide it. They do not care if your money is stolen. Switch to another card or use a real bank or credit union. Do not let them anywhere near your money.

There's no easy way to transfer money to your own bank account, leaving you stuck using their system. To make matters worse, when fraudulent charges happen, they seem more interested in denying disputes than actually investigating them.
Overall, it's been an incredibly frustrating experience. If you're paid through Comdata, get your money off the card as soon as possible. I certainly wouldn't trust leaving a balance on it.

Holy. $#*+! Is this company THE WORST or what? So, every time I get paid it’s the same thing. Can use most of my money but invariably the last $15-$20 sits in limbo, denied being used at merchants (funds unavailable) or denied online. And then when I sign in I have a balance of around $1. I read other reviews and see more of the same. When is something going to be done about this??? So, I have screen shots of funds being deposited and then 2 transactions (I take my shit out of there immediately) Well the deposit and 2 transactions SHOULD leave me w about $16. I’m like good at math and stuff. So, I sign in and see a balance of $6.48 or something. Whatever. I go to make a small purchase and THAT gets declined too. Another…declined. Ok, wtf. I sign on and my balance is $1.08. Uhhhhhh. This isn’t rocket science. It’s math. 1 deposit. 2 transactions. Balance. No charges. Fees. Reversals. So I go to call customer support and greeted with a recorded line or an AI trying to sell me a fallen and I can’t get up device. I politely tell them no I’m just interested in finding out about obscure charges on my account and she says I know, but my job is to protect as many people as possible and started rambling on yet again so I hung up. What kind of customer service is this bullshit? I wanna know where my money went. I wanna talk to a human being. And I wanna stop reading reviews about people being f-ed out of their hard earned cash by the shitty organization.

This card is a damn scam everytime I go to use my card they charge me a fee of $1 and I know for a fact I have the correct pin # when I go to the ATM. I will be suing them for fraud because they are just taking money that I donated plasma for and literally almost passed out for like it’s inconvenient and I’m frustrated as hell. I am not donating plasma to get the money taken away from me. Oh And you can’t even do cash back at a Kroger’s or Walmart it will say not supported and then turn around and charge u a fee of $1. This card is a straight scam and I hate that the plasma place I go to uses their services.

Getting reimbursed can take up to three months, and the process is unnecessarily stressful and complicated.

Even when you pay your balance on time consistently, they do not increase your credit limit. The fuel discounts are also very limited and not competitive compared to other options in the market.
Overall, the combination of poor fraud handling, terrible customer support, slow response times, and minimal benefits makes Comdata very difficult to rely on for fleet operations. I would not recommend it to any trucking company.

If I could give them a negative 100 rating, I would. I would NEVER recommend ANY COMPANY using them! This is basically a scam and your employees get cheated out of what you intended to reward them with, while this VERY UNETHICAL company steals the rest of the money with no notice. NOTHING on the card indicates fees, either at the time you use the card or on a monthly basis. Out of $100 he was given on two gift cards last year for Christmas, we used $50.00 and they took out $50.00 in fees. I have never seen any other gift card literally steal half of their value. When I called, I was told that because we tried to use the card for more that the amount on it, we were charged multiple "insufficient funds" fees. How can you be charged for "insufficient funds" on a gift card with a set amount of money? Every time I have done this in the past, they zero out the amount on the gift card and you pay the remainder of the transaction some other way. Also, they charge $2.95 for every month you don't use the "gift card". Never heard of this either. PLEASE avoid using this company!!!

The absolute worst company i have ever worked with in my 20 years of owning a truck company. Wouldn’t wish my experience with this mess of a company to my worst enemy. For your sake, do not waste your time with the false promises provided by comdata. The only time they will respond to you is when you sign up with them. It’s easier to get a hold of the president than to get a response for YOUR COMPANY MANAGER. If you disregard this review, good luck to you and your business.

This Company is a SCAM. They charge u additional.50 cents to make a debit transaction and if it gets declined they deduct an additional 1.00$ on top of it every time. And no you don’t get any of the money back. They scamming ppl out of money. Worse card ever !!!!

The worst customer service. I currently have a fraud case. The driver admitted using the card fraudulently. I filed police report for criminal charges. Currently have court dates. Comdata denied my fraud claim. I contacted corporate, BBB. If to no avail, I plan to sue them. You’ll have to prove to me, you haven’t approved ANY other fraud cases. Why have a fraud department?

Called and certified a Comdata check for $ 947.42 . Typed correct number, Comdata repeated correct number . Money was removed from my card . Went to bank to cash the check. Was told check was not certified. I am calling this theft/fraud by Comdata . I considering filing a lawsuit against Comdata. Maybe start a class action lawsuit. I am sure there are others that have been short changed by Comdata. People At Comdata can not speak English. Also was asked for my social security number .

Back in June 2025, I had my card just stored on Facebook, without never no purchase. Than our the blue some scam company called "Nepula Witchpower" had sold $45 dollars off my card. I called there run a round maze customer service number and reported this; plus cancel my card with Comdata. A week later I got there replacement card from the Plasma center. Now this is Sept and received a email that the customer service idiots had refunded the money back on the stolen card in June. Smdh! No common sense not to put the money back on the reported stolen card. Correct process is supposedly put funds on my new card on file! I called them last week telling them to put the money on my new card and not the one reported theft on it in June.

Good morning over the weekend I was in Iowa and could not get fuel using either my prepaid card and credit card. I called customer support because it said I had the wrong drivers ID. They told me they could not help me because I didn't have the correct drivers ID, and to send an email to my account manager. I was stuck with no fuel when I had 800 on my fuel card and instead of customer service helping me they told me to send an email. Every time i call customer service they are more concerned with getting me off the phone than with solving my problem.
I would like to cancel both card because of the above incident.

I have been trying to get the hard earned little bit of money off this card it wont let me even get it off. I have tried direct deposit 2wice and now I have to call customer service i prefer not to do this its inconvenient. The only reason I have this card is because my employer's made it very easy hence i thought it would be like a preload card from the store you'd just reload. NO fees for random crap and YALL BASCIALLY HAVE MY MONEY HOSTAGE ATP! Will be off this card ASAP!
