I cannot thank Barry and Mike sufficiently for their outstanding service from start to finish of the process. 
At all times, I was kept fully informed of any developments - dying art of communucation is actually alive and well here ! Whilst there were a couple of small problems at the sellers end, John and Mike worked hard with immense patience and diplomacy through to completion. Not only highly professional and efficient but extremely pleasant and friendly, whatever the pressure. I simply would not dream of engaging a different agent, so I look forward to both buying and selling in future through such a reputable agent with dedicated staff - very well done and thanks a million !!

We came into contact with Global around 7 weeks ago and was not sure about buying a house in a foreign country so far away. We liked that they help us with everything and give me and my partner allot of peace of mind. After looking at a few houses we purchased our first house which is a single family house. The property needed some work to have ready for new tenants of which this was paid for by the previous owners :) It took a couple of weeks for the the work to be done and the house looked great! Global and Gabi from Tiptop oversaw this and kept us up to date and now we have a new person renting our house. Barrie, John and Michael have been very good from the start and keeping me updated and we are also very happy with the management company. We would definitely recommend using these companies. Back in May we purchased two properties in Cleveland Ohio. Throughout the process Barrie and John kept us fully updated, within a week we had received inspection reports and the sales completed in June. Global helped us appoint a management company to look after the houses and as both properties were sold to us with tenants in place we began receiving rental income within weeks of completion. We have recently had to repair a couple of small things though general wear and tear but you expect this when you have rental properties. Julie at Sky was really helpful and has handled all repairs for us. We will definitely be looking to buy further properties in the New Year

Buying the house is simple and easy. Maybe in the long run it'll be a good investment. But I recently purchased and about 4 months in, not a single penny of rent has been transferred from the management company. Plus, Global don't mention half of the expenses that will be included for a duplex. So take home pay per month should have been close to $1000, but it's probably 1/4 of that in reality. These fees can include paying for utilities and even gardening, which if you own a duplex, come to over $300 a month. Add in management fees, random fees for them checking tenant details and the likes, and it's a pretty meagre return. $1100 for 4 months ownership so far. And $0 will be made over the next couple of months. So, will average to $180 a month for now, on a property worth close to $70,000.

I was recommended to increase rents to match the market rate and help cover some of these additional fees. But when I asked, I was then told it was not the right course of action. Neither was changing the management company who has not paid a penny of rent in 4 months, despite asking for weeks. So, fees not mentioned in the lease or by either company will just be on the owner.

Plus one tenant has already seemingly been arrested and had previously caused trouble (from what I understand). So although that seems to have been an ongoing issue, that was also not checked upon before recommending/selling. 1 property is therefore essentially vacant, while months of court cases are underway. However I believe that must be via the property management companies they deal with.

So just be careful with the ROI promised. It's far from truthful in my case at least. Or in other words, 15% Net Return promised, less than 1% reality. If you want to buy for a long term investment and to sell on later, well this could be a good option for you. I have not owned a house long enough or sold one to comment.

But if like me you believe that you could make a nice amount of side income from rent - well then, be prepared to be disappointed.

Although through Zoom, we established great confidence in Mike's integrity. It was important for us to have confidence in the staff's ability to feel aligned in what we wanted to achieve from a buy to let property overseas. The house is performing well and we receive our Section 8 rents each and every month on time. Happy with our investment.

Global Investments did a great job keeping me up to date with progress on my new home construction purchase in Greater Manchester by providing regular and comprehensive reports. This helped to ease anxieties about doing a home purchase in the midst of a global pandemic.

My property advisor was truly excellent! His knowledge, professionalism and attention to details was much appreciated. He worked hard to not only find a property that fit all my requirements but he negotiated successfully with the seller. In addition, his communication skills, prompt response time and general help with my getting an LLC set up and US bank account was above and beyond.

Once I spoke to Mike on video call I was comfortable and confident in his approach which made my decision to purchase a house in St Louis easy. John and his team are always available for support and the process was straight forward. I did my homework so was not completely naive but I’m glad I trusted Global to ensure everything was above board and handled with professionalism. Will look at further investments in the future. Excellent experience, the team at Global have been great from the start. The house I purchase in Detroit is a section 8 and new people were put in by the management company within 3 weeks of me being the new owner.
