Very somple to get insurance at a decent price

Insurance cost £300 more than I paid for initially, by which time locked in with exit fees etc.

Seems like standard industry practice but feels underhand to me.

When i spoke to someone by phone they were very helpful and agreed to send me a written copy of my renewal documents as my printer wasn't working, which I have now received thank you.

Excellent price. I didn't need the European breakdown cover as it was provided by my Nationwide Flex plus account. It was easy to remove it. It would have been nice if I could have removed the UK breakdown cover too (for the same reason), but this was not possible.

You could actually speak to someone who was very helpful, the price they gave me for my Motorhome insurance was very good, it also came with a free tracker.

It was quick and easy to understand and to use.

As it was only a matter of renewing my existing policy grove and dean done everything for me. All I had to do is check that there was no changes in the policy and the details are correct and that was it. So simple and no messing around. I also like that they contact me with information throughout the year. So I would rate grove and dean as a very good service.

Just went on to a comparison website. Grove and Dean were top of the list. I checked them out and they met all my requirements at a good price. No hassle in taking out the insurance. Simples!

This company should not be trading, it's as simple as that. Conned out of my refund for my Campervan. I paid my policy upfront as I normally do.
After 4 months with the van, i sold it.
And decided to upgrade to a caravan, so obviously I cancelled the insurance on the van, and contacted the company where I was informed, I will receive a refund within 30 days minus administration fee.
(Great that will pay for caravan insurance) .
2 months later still no refund, contacted the company passed on to underwriters then passed back again.. admittedly I was getting a bit angry about this..
I eventually asked to speak with a manager, 10 min later contact centre manager, "read your policy " I had the policy in my hand (no refund) nothing on my policy states this, oh it's on your online portal, funny that I don't have access to your portal.
Sorry nothing I can do for you,,..Companies like this disgust me, they are not only robbing people of there hard earned cash, I suffer from mental health issues due to my military service..it makes me wonder why we put our lives on the line for people who don't give a toss..
I strongly advise people to look elsewhere for insurance..
Staff are not helpful and there service in well below what I would expect from a so called British company..
I have now taken the issue up with both Financial Authorities
