My first use of Handy Squad and the whole process was excellent. Very helpful people to deal with the booking and then a young handyman called Andre. The work was simple ( clearing our gutters and bleeding radiators ) but done cheerfully and nice and neat and tidy throughout.

We had a fairly complex carpentry job that involved splittig a large teakwood bookcase into two parts. Handy Squad's carpenter, Jacek Kedziora, provided an excellent solution whereby the bookcase can now work either as two separate parts or as a single unit. He worked quickly with efficiency and skill. I strongly recommend him for similar challenges.

Russell carried out a variety of jobs. Some were a bit tricky and he thought hard about successful solutions. He was always on time and we’d certainly use him again. The office- based team were equally helpful and efficient!

I used the Handy Squad team to help replace a broken toilet seat. Ben was excellent, quick worker, polite ,and punctual. I was also pleased with communication with the company and had fast replies to queries. I am using them again.

I am very pleased with the tasks that Russell completed in my bathroom today to make it safe for my elderly mother. I will definitely use Handy Squad again the next time I need help from a handyman.

Fantastic experience I would give Benny ten stars if I could. Arrived on time, cleared up after himself. Sooooo knowledgable he should be on speed dial for anyone that needs a fantastic worker. He achieved in 12 minutes what had taken someone ( from a totally different company) else NOT to do one hour!
The back office Jay was sooo helpful and thanks to the ability to send them pictures knew exactly who to send for the job!

Painter that was to paint wall behind bath vanity and cabinet the lines in the corners and ceiling were all off blue paint on white walls and ceiling. Called to come back and fix now ceiling is two coats of white. They also were to fix door frame on opening side as EMS tied to break in. The frame looks good but the dead bolt did not lock. Had to call back to fix that.. Considered not professional

I needed work done on my roof terrace's support structure. I planned this way in advance as I have a small flat and clearing my terrace meant filling one of my indoor rooms with the terrace furniture and plants. So I effectively lost two areas of my flat in preparation.

The guy that showed up to do the work as scheduled complained the entire time that he was not the person who had estimated the work (true) and that the estimate was wrong. He then went on badmouthing The Handy Squad and left in huff without actually taking any measurements or making an effort to estimate the job.

We scheduled for a new guy to come. A few days later the guy didn't show up as scheduled. He called me three hours after the appointment to say that he had waited outside my flat but didn't want to ring the bell because it was too late (it was 1900). He said he had already left and that he had tried calling me earlier.

The guy came back the next day. He looked around but didn't take any measurements! I asked aren't you going to measure so you know how much material to purchase. "Good idea" he replied and then he started measuring. When I noticed he was measuring the wrong dimension (support beams go east to west and he was measuring north to south).

As timing was more important than cost to me, I told the Handy Squad thanks but no thanks. At this point I had no confidence in their ability to deliver on time. It appears the guys in the office do not have a good control of quality and customer service delivered by the tradesmen. Their communication is also poor as it would not have been hard to inform me of the late arrival, or at least help manage some sort of expectation.

On top of that I lost 16£ because I had paid the parking for the guy that showed up to do the work and slagged off The Handy Squad before leaving.

They responded very quickly to our request (much faster than anyone else we asked for a quote) and were able to book our appointment at short notice.
Huu came to our office and worked incredibly hard, disassembling and reassembling furniture. The job was much harder than anticipated, but Huu was an ace problem solver and really persevered to get the job done.
Clear pricing, great service....very highly recommended!

Jonathan and Russell painted the outside of our house in June. They did an excellent job and we are very happy with the result, their friendly and efficient work and the way it was set up by the office, with prompt and clear emails to get the job scheduled on the dates we asked for.

Subsequent to my using their service for carpentry work I had engaged their service for deep cleaning and A/c servicing. Both these jobs were executed to perfection. The personnel carrying out these jobs were totally well versed, efficient and extra helpful in carrying out the jobs. Whatever adverse conditions were overcome by their skill and efficiency and timely guidance from their supervisor. You can entrust them with any job and their performance can be assured. I recommend an excellent rating for this team HandysQuad.

Office was helpful (mostly dealt with Jay) for a job other firms had turned down.

Vasile was the carpenter they sent and he was excellent. Very efficient, friendly, clearly takes pride in his work and has done a good job. Exactly what I wanted.

Tomaz was professional, efficient and did a really great job preparing a level base for my shed. The interaction with the office for booking was also pleasant and efficient. Would highly recommend.

Rebecca in the office was very pleasant to speak to and Patrick did a good job in installing a new pop-up waste.
Being a pensioner I have to watch my spending so I was a little miffed at a £24 charge for sourcing time which I don't recall being notified about. As requested I had sent pictures of the basin and I would have thought this waste would be a stock item that the company would carry.

Punctual, professional, clean, neat, tidy, knowledgable, and quick.
