Last week I asked Silver Saints to send a handyman to do a few tasks including fixing wires and especially blocking any places where ants could be coming into my kitchen. A very nice and efficìent handyman called Pawel Wlodarczyk came and completed the tasks quickly and thoroughly. In addition to the areas where I had spotted ants coming in he pointed out further cracks under skirting boards and filled those. I was very pleased with the work and will remember Pawel when I next ask Silver Saints for someone to work here.
The booking process was easy online but I find it difficult to estimate how many hours of a handyman’s time I will need for tasks. Once again, thank you Silver Saints.

The Saint did not arrive within your 60 minute window and I had to ring. I did then get updates and the work was accomplished quickly and efficiently.

A fantastic service. Tom was excellent fitting the curtain tracks and Roman blinds and we would highly recommend Silver Saints.

Research before you book and ask for qualifications.

We booked Silver Saints for some bathroom jobs. They certainly do overcharge. We had 5 jobs booked and only 2 were completed but we were charged the whole amount. We queried re the mastic price as they tell you it’s £100 flat fee - it is not they add more and more on. Also PLEASE PLEASE ask for the handyman’s qualifications before you allow him/her into your home to do any work especially electrical. If electrical work is done ask for the Part P form which should be provided if they are a qualified electrician. Ours was installed very dangerously and we had to pay an emergency electrician to come to fix the problem as it could have caused a house fire. We later found out the handyman was not an electrician and should not have been sent to the job. We also had to pay a painter to complete our bathroom ceiling. The handyman said he’d have to come back but again we were charged the full price so don’t believe he would have come back at all.

We were lucky and the director understood and agreed with our complaint and we got most of our money back but from the reviews I can see that isn’t the case for everyone so please be careful when booking if you choose to.

Zeedi from Silver Saints did a great job of sanding and repainting some skirting boards for me. He provided some thoughtful advice that saved cost and risk (recommending cleaning up the existing mastic sealant rather than replacing it entirely), took care to protect the area being painted, and did a thorough job.

Adrian brought his own creativity to the task of building the raised bed, and was very pleasant to deal with.

Very disappointed with this service. I was charged £60 for the first 30 minutes simply to hang a few pictures, which I found extremely overpriced for the type of work carried out. The pricing feels completely out of proportion to the actual job completed and, despite raising my concerns, the company refused to show any flexibility or goodwill.

I also felt uncomfortable that the handyman walked into my bathroom without asking permission to use it. In addition, when I asked for a picture to be placed where I wanted it, he repeatedly told me it “should not go there,” which came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

Overall, I felt ripped off and would not use this company again.

Very professional, and efficient. Booked and completed within six hours! Immediately identified the problem and went out to get the spare part and was done and dusted, for quite an unpleasant job, within two hours very much appreciated!
