Excellent Value
So I wanted to wait a couple of weeks in order to give an honest review after wearing my boots.
Ordered online after looking at another brand but these came up cheaper. They were delivered within 4 days so far all good!
I work with horses and dogs and am a farmers wife so constantly on my feet all day. I normally wear wellies as I don't want to have to keep changing foot gear between the farm and walking at least 10km every day. However in Oct 2022 a muck trailer fell on my foot and broke it in 3 places so since then I have been a little hesitant in the wellie wearing! I've tried various other safety boots but found them all to be heavy clumsy and really not stylish.
After wearing the Hard Yakka Banjo boots every day all day for the last 3 weeks I can honestly say that they are great. They are light to wear and I can walk everywhere in them. Completely waterproof and my feet don't tend to swell or sweat in the heat either. I did find the lip at the top of the boot rubbing against the top of my foot for the first couple of days a little uncomfortable but this has now resolved itself and no longer an issue.
the safety aspect has given me the confidence to work around the horses and cattle and the comfort has meant I'm not having to change footwear between jobs. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Disappointment with Hard Yakka
Experience with Hard Yakka was frustrating. I am a 111cm chest so I bought the XL Shacket. When trying it on it was far too large. I really liked the jacket so I contacted Hard Yakka to see if I could exchange for a different size. I understood the returns where at the customers expense but I wanted a exchange, not a return. There are no exchanges. You have to send your item back at your own expense (£9.88). And order again. They did offered me a discount but I would still be out of pocket and risking again that the item wouldn't not fit.
For how big online shopping is this is just bad business that left me frustrated and £9.88 lost. I would like to shop at Hard Yakka again but only if their exchange policy changes.

super fast, awesome boots! only worn once so far but all good, taking them out again today! super comfy and I am on my feet all day so excellent they are comfy! heavier than I'm used to but thats the steel!

Boots better than a big brand, A lot better!!
Since finding Hard Yakka footwear I have invested too much money in their boots! By far the most comfortable work footwear I have worn, nice and wide fitting and last the day without limping home. I could opt for the route that most people working in a domestic trade do by wearing AdiBokNise but when a heavy item drops on your foot then it's not the label that prevents the injury!! Sure they may not be as flexible but I'm prepared to spend my money in this direction so I'm more than happy with the quality HY put out. After seeing how the Aussie's favour a zip-side then who am I to fumble around with laces!! Do yourself a favour and have a crack at this brand mate!!

The website was informative of the boots safety rating I purchased, the acknowledgement of my purchase, the processing of my order and the despatch. I didn't choose next day delivery but my arrived a few days after my purchase, the service from start to finish was excellent.
