I had a very poor experience with this company and would not recommend their services.
The Home Report I received was not only disappointing but also contained serious inaccuracies that the surveyor refused to correct, even after I provided written confirmation from the building’s property management company. The report included a Category 3 (urgent repair) relating to the chimney, based purely on assumption (a tarpaulin seen during inspection), despite clear evidence that the actual issue was unrelated and had already been resolved.
Instead of investigating properly before issuing such a serious rating, the surveyor relied on guesswork rather than verified facts, and then placed the burden on me to obtain very specific technical confirmations from the factor. This is not what I paid for. A professional survey should be based on proper due diligence, not assumptions.
In addition, the valuation itself did not reflect key factors such as property size, layout, dual aspect position, and significant recent renovation (~£12,000). Three independent estate agents valued the property significantly higher, yet this was dismissed without meaningful consideration.
The overall approach felt rigid, unhelpful, and lacking real market understanding. Even when clear evidence was provided, there was no willingness to fairly review or amend the report. Instead, the response was defensive and dismissive.
A Home Report has a major impact on a property sale, and accuracy is critical. In my case, I feel the report was misleading and not a true reflection of the property, which has caused unnecessary stress and potential financial impact.

Beware! Had my suspicions due to a very poor reputation. Throughout the visit, the conduct and thoroughness of the inspection were seriously alarming. Not to mention the lack of knowledge from the “ Professional “ carrying out a lending valuation. Which became apparent after receiving their incredibly low valuation.

Please take serious consideration before allowing this company to be instructed.
