They are not a mortgage company they are a finance company who have take poor nram customers there akin to loan sharks and have no regard to there customers. Suggest everyone makes a complaint to the fca as this company are not fit for purpose

Horrendous unsympathetic business. Rang for help with interest rate now at over 8%. Completed budget form which left family of 4 with £100 pound for the month, after having a payment break they now want to take all I have left per month to pay the arrears. I rang for help and ended up worse off!! Theives cashing in on the cost of living crisis.

Heliodor are corrupt to the core and pretend to try and help you. Recently requested mortgage holiday as per my original terms in Northern Rock - was refused on grounds of being self employed and not enough profit yet have been paying this mortgage for 20 years, no missed payments and their exuberant rates but apparently can't afford another £20 per month..... crooks

worse mortgage people ever thank God I have paid my last money to them got a mortgage advisor in going with another company 300 cheaper these people will put people on the streets every month they put your mortgage up .I advise people to get a mortgage advisor you don't pay them anything they get a fee from the bank/building society they find you I should have done it years ago

Absolute bunch of A hole's. Stay well clear of this company if you can.Trying to deal with them is like banging your head against a wall. Heliodor is by far the worst organisation I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.

since 2021 my mortgage as gone to double, interest going up almost every month, I called to see if I could go onto a pay account, yes I'm on interest only since (2009 with other company).
So they do all the working out and said to pay your mortgage back it will be £1257 a month, that's on a mortgage of £75k, the house is not worth it.
As I said I'm struggling I need to try something before I become homeless, as I'm also ill, what did the lady say, I will tell you, don't worry about it as you've got to have missed so many payments and it I can take over a year then to go court and get an order for repossession on my property.
You get missed payments and ccj or anything on your credit report and you've no chance of getting another house.
This is the advice I got and your ok yet, as you've kept your payments up.
Been no help what's so ever.

They don't realise, if we can't pay the mortgage and take the house of you, they lose your monthly payment, house goes to auction, gets a low price, the they want the money that's left over from sale and mortgage left, how do you think your going to get payments for debt, as they need the money to pay rent on a new place.

Be better for them to work with us and to end up getting nothing from us,

The absolute worst company in the world. Complete disgrace to deal with.
I signed over the house to my ex wife 15 years ago but my name had to stay on the mortgage, she is now £50,000 in debt and she hasn’t payed anything off the mortgage in over a year and they still refuse to do anything about repossessing the property. My credit score is wrecked and they don’t give a toss. Rude to deal with and takes an age just to speak to someone. They should be had up in court for such poor business practice. The law is not on our side which is a disgrace. Who if anyone can help?

All disaffected borrowers (which is everyone in this case) should write to their MP to contact this lender (& copy in the FCA & the Treasury) on their behalf. The Govt have said they must uphold the mortgage charter but this company say that does not apply to them as thy are not a lender ! They might well try to ignore a single MP but if many more write in they might soon reconsider their tactics.

I would give a no-star rating if it existed.
Heliodor have increased my mortgage interest rate every month from last October, it now stands at 11.75%.
They wrote to me today and yet again It is due to increase on September 1st, that is despite the Bank of England having not made a statement yet as to how much they are Increasing the interest rate???????
They are clearly mind readers?
My mortgage payment is over double now.
They are scandalous, cheats.
How do they get away with this behaviour. I reported the to the Financial Ombudsman, who took their side and said there was no case against them they had not broken any laws? So I can’t win.

Please if you are looking for a new mortgage product avoid this company, also trades as Topaz. No web site,
No address just a post office box number, never answers the phone. Red flags all the way.

Would give no stars if I could. Ongoing stress and hassle by this company following my husbands employer going into administration after 37 years leaving us high and dry. Despite me explaining immediately what had happened I received no support whatsoever. Even worse they continue to contact and I have to retell
This awful story over and over. Hell on earth and they should not be allowed to operate.
My mental health is suffering because of them.

I have tried several times to get in touch with this company, and it seemed the only way is through the post!!!

Their online service is always down and no access is granted to check accounts etc. They leave you hanging on endless loops on the phone and when finally the phone rings, the call drops!!! It is absolutely infuriating!!!

The government sold us down the river with this awful situation we find ourselves in, with no way out until our mortgages finish!

It is appalling that companies are allowed to treat honest, tax-paying citizens in this way while our government, who profited from the sale of our mortgages, looks on and turns a blind eye to the suffering caused.

I hope nobody else ends up in a situation like this.

I’ve read through most of these and it’s not pleasant reading, has anyone got any ideas how we collectively can do something about this…. These sharks can’t get away with it… does anyone know it watch dog has been contacted or similar tv programme

Shocking company. Please dont take any products with them, Seriously!
Im going to the main newspapers about them. Basically i need to sell my house to get rid of them. Been paying my mortgage every month on time but yet, they tell the credit reference agenies ive missed multiple payments!
I cant remortgage because of them, im stuck on 7% svr rate, no other mortgage company will touch me, even though i have over 50% equity in my home. These missed payments on my file have basically ruined me financially. ive been trying to fix this since January this year and getting nowhere. They are good Fraud company to be honest, i will give them that. Stay the fukc away from them.
The customer service is unbelievably shocking.
The stress has caused me a great time of work. I was hoping to start a buisness this year but thats fkt due to my credit file. I never asked to be a customer of Heliodor, they bought out the previous mortgage company.

When you get a letter offering help and support if you are stuggling to pay your loan (as i don't believe it can be classed as a mortgage anymore) and you find it sickening. How about you stop hiking your rates every single time the Boe do and way above any decent banks rate? You really are the lowest greediest company i have ever known, vile...

Terrible customer Service, high fees and it appears that they deliberately make overpayment and redemption difficult to try to wring even more money out of customers. Avoid!

29th of October 2021 was the happiest day of my life. 29th of October was the day we finally sold the concrete block that had been hanging around our necks since it was purchased with NR in 2008.
We were forced to pay more on an £80k house then we are currently paying for a £210k house.

These people are vultures. There is nothing that can be done to stop them they are a law onto themselves.

I am so thankful we managed to get out. We did lose one house because they refused to settle the loan that was attached to the mortgage and wanted to de-link it and charge us 23% for the remainder.

Our solicitor was amazing and she really put the pressure on. Even on completion, they refused the redemption and we were delayed on completion for 5 days. They were trying to wrangle every penny out of us before we left. My solicitor threatened them with legal action. Even then, they kept changing the redemption figure and it kept rising.

We are free.... The best day was setting fire to everything that had Helidors name on.

I would give no stars if l could this company is in the pockets of the ombudsman mark your credit file as missed payments send other peoples data to yo and thinks it’s ok for them to offer you 250.00 pounds for the inconvenience this company should be shut down l pay extra each month to be sent a letter to say arrears on account to be told when rang up computer can not cope with extra payments but can do when they want to put up interest rates staff work from home what a bunch of clowns

If I could give them ZERO STARS I would. Absolute JOKE OF A COMPANY. Stay well clear of these. How they are still trading is beyond me. They SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

We were unfortunate enough to be transferred to these cowboys from NR. Mortgage has increased a total of 11 times so far since November 2022, tried calling them countless times and even sending messages through their online portal.....nothing! Had to get ombudsman involved, and still nothing! Well... good luck getting your money because i cancelled the direct debit, i've chased enough times so let's see how far you get! I'm at that point i don't even care about my credit score or nothing, that company is an absolute joke and I've spent too long asking for help

Linked to computershare? Also to the scum at Mortgage Agency Services Number 4 & 5 (co-op sk ank) and CRAPITA as "backup servicers). Stands to reason all these crooks would work together fleecing innocent people whilst the not fit for purpose FCA let them get away with it. They are ALL liars.
