We drove to the fireplace centre from Liverpool to Leicester to purchase a large marble fireplace seen on line, as we wanted to see it before buying. On getting to the address it looked nothing like the image on the website which stated they have two show rooms-12-14 Great Central Street, Leicester, LE1 4JT which stated on the door of what looked like a disused building, that an appointment was needed-not mentioned on the site!
There was no other address on the site- I tried phoning the number three times - I could only hear what sounded like stone grinding on first call the second call I asked for the other address the line went dead I tried again and the phone duly went dead again. Appalling service, and web that does have appropriate information. They have lost a big purchase as a result.

Excellent range and 1st class service. Delivery was bang on time. The only thing I would say would be to remove the top piece of decorative wood for transporting as although the surround was well protected elsewhere, the screws for this piece have split the top shelf slightly when the surround was resting against this in transit. This isn't visible but could be avoided. Otherwise I'm chuffed to bits!

Jeff, owner of the Heritage Fireplace Centre, was fantastic throughout the whole process of choosing the right fire surround, hearth and insert, and helped me navigate a difficult situation with a shallow hole behind the previous fireplace. Can't recommend this company highly enough!
