Great fast service, however I would've left a 5* except they sent my item with European plugs. It would've been nice if they'd also sent the adaptors.

UPDATE: Finally got in contact with someone, the manufacturer was unable to repair my subwoofer so I've been offered a replacement. I have actually been offered a slightly better subwoofer than my S8 because I'd have to wait another month to get a replacement S8 whereas this similar model is available within a week. I'll give them some credit because that's not something they had to do.

Assuming the replacement arrives on time and is of good quality then I might even give them the benefit of the doubt over the lack of email communication, what with the drastically new working conditions and all.

ORIGINAL REVIEW::

Bought an Audioengine S8 which lasted about 9 months. Contacted them just after lockdown to check that they could accept a return for repair and they told me that they could and to send the subwoofer.

About 2 weeks later I sent an email to check they'd received the subwoofer and they replied, saying they had but that their repair centre wasn't accepting returns at the moment. The very thing they said they'd checked before having me send the subwoofer. Now we're 4 months down the line and they are just ignoring my emails.

I understand that their repair centre is closed for a good reason but I asked them to check before I sent the subwoofer, they could've just told me to hold off. To then start ignoring emails is just rude and totally amateur customer service.

Easy purchasing, fast delivery and returns. My item was faulty and I was able to return on the same day as it arrived at no cost. The only thing stopping this being 5 stars is that it took 3 days of me pestering them to get my money back.

Incredibly disappointing waited in all day Saturday eventually called at 5.40 despite saying open until 6pm but no answer. The DPD tracking number supplied says they are waiting for the package to arrive and yet it was ordered on Thursday evening. So can’t track it can’t talk to anyone, wish I’d waited for John Lewis to get it back in stock. Won’t be using this company again and will advise Ruark that this is brand damaging

False advertising.
After I have ordered and paid for a projector, I have received a phone call.
They said, it was wrong price on their website, and I had to wait for refund.

Excellent customer service and very fast delivery

From the first moment I picked up the phone to inquire about a set of Kanto Speakers I was impressed with HomeAVDirect. The phone was answered very quickly by a well mannered employee.

Free next day delivery was exceptional but upon delivery I noticed a small scratch on one of the Cones. After some quick exchanges via email (after normal working hours) HomeAVDirect agreed to send out (free of charge) a new set the very next day. Received and very happily listening to my new Kantos.

I would and will recommend HomeAVDirect to friends/famiy. Well done guys, especally in the current climate.
