Sheets are nice. But the delivery took over 6 weeks and they did not proactively inform me about the delay.

I got the parcel with more delay than declared and in top of it the essential core set I order didn’t come with the two pillowcases, as indicated instead in the website.
I mentioned to the customer service asking to send them to me, but I haven’t heard anything back so far.

Nice robe delivered well and on time. I only didn't give 5 stars as I don't believe items can be perfect.

Completely let down by House Babylon. I waited weeks and weeks for my order and kept being told a warehouse move was holding up dispatch.
Two months later I finally opted to get a refund.

Refused a refund as stated sale items are non refundable. However this is against UK law where sales are made. I failed to get any response to my complaints beyond chat GPT robot text that went round in circles. I’ve got no interest in harming small businesses but they have kept the returned goods and my money so I am out of pocket. As they were ignoring me I threatened with legal action which they still ignored. As a matter of principle I then took this to small claims court and won. You can see the case number here : 626MC441
Ridiculous as it may seem but house of babylon are even ignoring the court judgement so bailiffs will on their way.

Terrible products - bought the lounge set and the cotton start pilling after first wash. Absolutely horrendous - not worth the price even when it’s on sale.

All good. Great product, heavy cotton, very warm, and I love that the company appears to take ethical manufacturing/supply chains seriously (though they could perhaps talk a bit more about this on their site - they discuss cotton sourcing but not manufacturing conditions.)

Package arrived quicker than expected, however when I opened it half of the items were missing. I emailed customer support who responded quickly, but asked for photos of the packaging, which seemed a little pointless - if I was lying I'd have simply not photo'd half of the packaging?! Anyway, I sent them the pics, they responded to say thanks, then heard nothing for a few days. When I chased them I had a two day wait until they confirmed they were sending the missing item. In total it took two weeks to get my full order. Quality of goods was as expected.

Great quality bathrobe, thick and luxurious so it will last.

Illegal business practices – AVOID at any cost! House Babylon operate entirely in breach of UK consumer legislation by refusing refunds for returns. Just look at the other low reviews on this site – it's a huge and consistent problem. I spoke to Trading Standards today who confirmed they are investigating this shady business to take action, and have had this breach confirmed by multiple legal professionals. Let's hope it gets shut down to avoid scamming more innocent consumers! It's not worth the risk: just don't shop here.

Sent wrong item and size. Requested photographs which I provided. Said they will send replacement's. …. Still waiting

So, my original order for some reason didn't arrive 😔.. Yes I was sad and unhappy...
No idea why EVRI didn't deliver it ?

However thanks to Nagham at Babylon customer service, a new dressing gown was finally ordered and shipped next-day delivery.
It did take a number of emails but Nagham responded daily which was excellent customer service.

I can’t rate this company highly enough. I ordered a present for my brother and gave the wrong house number as he had just moved. The company went out of their way to help me, contacting the courier even though the package had shipped, to change the house number.

I’ve bought from them several times now and the products are great quality, lovely soft, ethical material and look great too.
