Didnt even want to give one star..hair is awful 🙄 i said i wanted a bob but not really short ended up with very short cut all around like an old bowl cut..have been there before but just unlucky today..a very bad experience 😨

I struggle with finding a Hairdresser that I feel comfortable to cut my hair (anxiety) and given the reviews I have read on here I am not the only one that struggles to find a Hairdresser that listens and provides a cut the customer requests. I found one at your Just Cuts Salon several months ago who understands, listens & does a great cut. On the 27.02.2023 I walked into store asking for that person and was told by Lou (identified herself as Salon Manager) who used short and sharp tonality "NO REQUESTS" I questioned it in an attempt to understand the policy around not providing an exceptional customer service and was told I was rude and the person I preferred was at lunch. I returned 30 minutes later to see just Lou in the Salon cutting a man’s hair. I asked if the other hairdresser was back from lunch and told yes, that Hairdresser then came from out the back. (The booking kiosk now had an out of order sign on it) I asked for that Hairdresser for a cut, Lou intervened and said that the other requested Hairdresser was busy with another customer, and I'd have to wait. There were no other customers in shop. (Curious how I’d have to wait for another customer to turn up when I have been told there is a policy of no requests/bookings) I shared I would wait. Lou shared that there would still be NO guarantee my preferred hairdresser could cut my hair. I questioned this as clearly, they were not busy and I was prepared to wait and was told I was rude and asked to leave the shop which I did after asking for Lou's name and your contact details of Just Cuts Management. I also shared that the company needs to bring it's self into the Twenty First Century around providing services to individuals with Disabilities (Anxiety). Please help me understand how I cannot have my hair cut by my preferred hairdresser when they are not providing a service to anyone else at the time and Lou is attending to other customers cut? How is it that my preferred Hairdresser is 'On hold' waiting for another customer to arrive when I am told there are no bookings or requests? I will mention that my preferred Hairdresser did not involve herself in this exchange between Lou and myself but stood aside and look embarrassed. My preferred Hairdresser herself shared with me understanding in the past around my anxiety and empathised with people who struggle socially around various events and to that end had provided me her name on a card at my last visit so I could specifically check she was working before I attended the Salon. That in my mind is great Customer Service at human need's level. I have notified Just Cuts via their website around my experience and await a reply. Unless this Company steps up and acknowledges that no two people are the same and they are in a service industry, servicing community and that discrimination is not to be tolerated I will not be going back to this or any of their franchises and I'd suggest you do the same until such a time all people in the community are accommodated and their staff receive suitable training around customer service in all its aspects. The long and the short of it I feel I have been discriminated against by Lou/Just cuts apparent Policy and the process around getting a hair cut in the above-described scenario, it just should not have been that difficult in this instance. Just Cuts Just Make no Sense.

You will note most of the supportive feedback for Just Cuts is from customers that mention a specific Hairdresser they use and recomend to others. Question: Is this a waist of time when Policy is NO REQUESTS around asking for specific Hairdresser to cut your hair?. I'm confussed as it does appear to happen and why shouldn't it?

Do not waste your time at these hairdressers. Hubby went there for a haircut as we didn't have the time to wait at a barber but unfortunately we ended up spending the same amount only for them to completely butcher the haircut and accidentally cut off some of his eyebrow hair. Honestly these hairdresser's are a joke. Save your money and spend it wisely.

Just went to Just Cuts and asked for a tiny bit off of my hair, as it was at waist length and I didn’t want to go any shorter. I have really curly hair, and it dries different to straight hair. The lady that did my hair did not listen, and cut it to just below my ears. I do not understand how someone can misunderstand such simple instructions and cut waist length hair up to the ears. So stupid. Absolutely awful haircut as well (not including the length).

I asked for a very small trim, less than 1.5cm and came away with 3.5 inches off. It’s so disappointing when the hairdresser doesn’t listen to what you have asked and has no idea that they have caused so much anxiety and anger. As a hairdresser you need to honour what the clients asks for otherwise they are very dissatisfied and your service is really bad.

Feel like I need to hide until my hair grows again and I can get it trimmed by someone else so it is evenly cut.
Should have trusted my instinct. Shop had just opened on a Friday. Both hairdressers were scruffy in appearance, especially their hair. I wanted a trim. I received quite a hair cut (not a trim) that is crooked and embarrassing. Maybe they need to know that a trim doesn’t look a lot different but takes some bulk out and tidies the overall look. Very annoyed. Perhaps staff training or a hard discussion with staff about whether they are in the right job because little interest in the cut and overall look. Blind Freddy could see it was crap.

I'm so pleased with Lauren's cut. Much better. I'll stick with her. Thanks Laren at Hamilton Chartwell

I’ve been in Justcuts Melton West, Ivy helps alot she is the best. Due to frustration from my haircut on the opposite shop of Justcuts I take the opportunity to fix by someone else and I didn’t make a mistake, Ivy is one of a kind. She knows what she’s doing very detailed and experienced hairdresser.She is highly recommended not only that my husband also do his men cuts and his so happy, thank you very much Ivy. You made our weekend blissful.

Emma was my stylist, knew exactly what I liked. Beautiful cut, she also listened to exactly what I liked.

My dad and I both had a hair cut done by different hair stylist at Justcuts Melbourne Central. Overall an unpleasant experience. Whilst the cut was ok, a few things they can def improve on. My stylist appeared to be a Vietnamese, very rough and not thourough. I got her elbow banged against my head several times before and during the cutting process, without any apologies. My hair near the neck was still full of conditioner. When i asked her if she would wash my hair again after the cut she said no. I pointed out she did not rinse my hair properly. She blamed they were using a new brand of conditioner which was thicker in consistency. But that’s not an excuse not to check if the hair was properly rinsed. She also stepped on my feet twice too. My dad’s shirt was soaking wet after the hair wash. Definitely not wanting them to cut our hair again. There was a guy with glasses who spoke Canto and another lady with dyed hair who seem to deliver a better service. Will still go to Justcuts as not all hairdressers offer poor customer service.

She is a true professional, always cheerful and I trust her with my haircut and always love the style she recommends. I will definitely go back to Sunny for my hair cuts and has recommended her to my friends. Thanks again Sunny, very much appreciated!

Terrible haircut that I got from Just Cuts Westfield Newmarket, Auckland.

Went to Just Cuts at Majura in Canberra and I had just washed my hair and was about to style and thought no I will pop down to Just Cuts for a cut and blow dry and was charged $70. This is $20 above what I have been charged for a wash, cut and blow dry. I am a pensioner being ripped off by Just Cuts. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth and I will now spend my time telling people not to go there. This is bad for all Just Cuts.
Very disappointed.

Had a good seniors hair trim & tidy up from Ayu at Warriewood. Didn't take too much off & my "light" fringe was perfect so very happy, thx Ayu

Had a haircut at Smithfield in cairns.
Stylist was really rude and can’t understand clearly what was said.
I asked for just below shoulder length. She cut it out and changed my style and 3 inches above my shoulder.

My wife had a very bad experience here. They said the price for an 8 year old girl was $27, but in the end they needed to pay $48. They said they charged extra for shampoo.

Walked in, welcomed warmly, immediate haircut and possibly the best haircut I've ever had from friendly and attentive stylist. Going back soon😊

Just went to just cuts in mount Sheridan and now i know what a sheep feels like when they get Shawn. Asked for number 1 back and sides and a cut on top the hair dresser used a number 5 all over then 1 on the sides and only trimmed with scissors on the front all in all only took 5 minutes then charged me $39 worts hair cut ever. Im not shure she was even qualified.

Went to Just Cuts Midland for a treatment, blow dry and curl and Jill from Just Cuts Midland did a sensational job!! Old school techniques using brushes and irons. The curls stayed in and I got constant comments all day and the next how lovely I looked. Jill you are awesome and thank you!!!
