Floors are bad quality. After a few years, finish wore off. After 10 years, finish is uniformly wearing off.

Golv som efter bara fyra år börjar spricka, både i ändar, sidorna och mitt i golvplankan. Då har vi ändå ett lite dyrare golv. Trots att Kärs lovar 30 års garanti så vill dom inte ens komma och titta och än mindre ta på sig att byta golvet eller ge någon form av ersättning. Har kontakt med flera andra som råkat ut för samma sak och även dom har samma erfarenhet av Kärs. Tack och lov fick vi hjälp av våran husleverantör som nu även har slutat att använda sig av Kärs golv då dom har samma erfarenhet även dom. Skulle aldrig rekommendera någon att köpa Kärs golv

Bought white oak for a new place that I've designed and loved the finishing of the white matte paint , the quslity of the wood and the engineering is impressive, will work with Kahrs from now on ..

Jättedåligt golv som sliter strumpor och kläder orimligt mycket. Barnen får tom brännmärken efter att ha krupit på det. Fruktansvärd kundservice också.

Haben in unserem kompletten Haus einen Parkettboden von Kährs verlegen lassen.
Der Boden ist rustikal mit vielen Astlöchern und stellen mit Epoxidharz.
Leider zeigt dieses an fast allen Stellen unschöne Bläschen und Marmorierungen auf.
Diese sind wirklich auffallend. Sogar unser Besuch fragte bereits, was das denn für Stellen sind.
Unsere Baufirma - die den Parkett auch verlegt hat- nahm mit Kährs Kontakt auf.
Dort meinte man, das wäre alles im Rahmen.
Wenn man sich für ein Markenprodukt entscheidet, dann möchte man aber nicht auf jeder Diele unschöne Bläschen und Marmorierungen. Habe über ein Forum andere Bauherren kennen gelernt, bei diesen zeigt der Parkett diese Fehler nicht auf.
Nun habe ich am Mittwoch den Kundenservice von Kährs kontaktiert und warte seitdem auf eine Antwort.

Lagt in Kährs Life, sämsta golvet trots att Kährs marknadsfört golvet som ”commercial use” med fantastisk hållbarhet bla bla. Efter 5 månader har golvet närmare 50 hål och märken. Trots detta vägrar Kährs att ta emot reklamationen. Skäms på er Kährs som inte tar ansvar för givna löften! Pinsamt!!

I bought a Kahrs floor via Flooring Direct and was told it was a finished product. I was not told by anyone that it needed lacquer or any finishing treatment. Less than a year in, excessive wear started to show on some planks. I had not damaged these planks by dragging anything across them. The supplier (Flooring Direct) said it should have been lacquered. I was told this. Khars reviewed the case (via on online form) and concluded that the damage was caused by me so I was not offered anything compensation/no accountability for their poorly finished product. My professional floor fitter said it was a faulty product that was not fit for purpose. Shocking attitude and customer service. Please do not buy from Kahrs.

JUNK ! If I could give 0 stars I would. Kahrs oak tapa in a 2.5 mill dollar home and the finish is flat out crap.

40 years in the building and remodeling trade with 100s of floors and never a failure. These clowns tried to find every excuse why it was not their fault. Moisture levels, proper slope from house etc.
It will be ripped out and will be analyzed and possibly a law suit coming. Been trying to resolve with the dealer

15 years ago I bought and personally installed a Kahrs floor. We were happy with them at the time. So when it came time to install a new floor is a different house, we went with what we knew.

The floor looks good, but we are disappointed in the handling of a bad plank that we have discovered after install. Kahrs basically says '$hit happens... We have a 5% error rate, and the installer should have caught it.'

They have really degraded over the years ... Disappointed that in a industry where you really do not get much repeat business; that they did not do anything to solve their faulty product.

Vi köpte Kährs Nouveau Snow och det är ett rent skämt hur dåligt golvet har varit. Det har missfärgats, slitits orimligt snabbt på mer utsatta områden (färgen försvunnit helt) samt att det är spontana och totala färgsläpp på vissa ställen. Golvet ser så mycket sämre ut än ett annat golv som vi har i större delen av huset (dessutom på mer utsatta områden), som legat 20 år innan vi la in detta.
I tillägg till detta har vi följt Kährs skötselråd och enbart använt deras rengöringsmedel och mopp, vilket har visat sig vara en bra inkomst för Kährs och onödigt mycket pengar för oss som kunder.
Vid reklamation tyckte återförsäljaren att det var en uppenbar reklamation medan Kährs helt och hållet slår ifrån sig allt ansvar. Det visar sig dessutom att våra två lokala golv/färgbutiker och andra återförsäljare slutat sälja Kährs av bland annat detta skäl. Inte konstigt att Kährs finns hos färre återförsäljare och återkommande jobbar med rabatter..
Kortfattat värdelös kvalitet och de ”generösa” garantier som de stoltserar med är inte värt någonting.

Habe das Eichen Parkett Modell "Heidelberg" verbaut. Sieht super aus, ist aber extrem empfindlich, jede noch so kleine Berührung verursacht Kratzer. Schlechte Qualität die hier für teures Geld verkauft wird. Habe Kährs diesbezüglich eine höfliche Email geschrieben aber leider nur eine unnütze Antwort erhalten. Kann bloß raten: Finger weg von Kährs!

Do not buy!! The product is expensive but gets marks and dents super easily! I mean if you walk with a tiny stone under your shoe it will leave a visible mark

Carpenters have just laid my Kahrs whinfell herringbone vinyl floor in the kitchen, breakfast room and utility. It looks absolutely stunning but be prepared for up to 40% wastage. I have rated it 3 stars because of the wastage and as the floor is newly laid, I am unsure how the vinyl will wear

Had two engineered floors down for over 12 years, both from Kahrs. Easy to float lay, I spent a good 10 years + in the flooring game mainly with products like Bruce and Kahrs. The white ash marked easily, expected with a white finish and it was in a child's room. The dark oak laid really well, solid underfoot, only started to lift near a patio door (one plank) which was due to moisture coming in. I pinned this area which fixed the issue but this was 10 years in. The floor has weathered well, no real problems at all, very little creaking, had one area in the hallway where we had minor movement after many years, the t&g failed (can happen on any floor) but it's easy to swap a plank out. The staining does lighten over time and especially if you try to spot clean, in most cases we left them to weather in but did use the touch-up pots in a couple of areas where we removed some paint spillage. You can see a cpl of pics of the flooring reviewed on insta (garbroll). Can honestly recommend Kahrs, if the subfloor is made good and fitted correctly they are great floors.

Kahrs are terrible. My usual flooring supplier recommended them when I said I was thinking of a floating wood floor in my most recent renovation. The floor creaks everywhere. Every step. The installer said they have never had the problem like that before, maybe in one or two places butI have 800 sq ft of it and every step it creaks. Kahrs rep came and looked at it and tried to tell me my floor was uneven, its a concrete slab???They also blamed the installer and said they hadn't left enough gap at the edges so the installer came back and trimmed all the edges again still the floor creaks. You can see it go up and down as you walk on it. I wish I'd read up on them before I had it installed because it seems that lots of other people have the same issue. I will likely now have to strip it out and use something else.

Avoid them like the plague.

Vi har desværre oplevet at vores gulv begynder at pege i alle retninger, producenten begrunder det med at vores gulvvarme har været 1 (lige præcis 1 gr.) for varmt og vil derfor ikke anerkende vores reklamation - hold jer langt væk fra Kāhrs gulve

Do not purchase the Kahrs Ash Alabama Engineered Wood Flooring, as by their own assessor's admission has a design flaw.

On 29 July 2020, I bought 10 packages of your Kahrs Ash Alabama Engineered Wood Flooring via Flooring Supplies.co.uk - order number 810235. The flooring arrived on 14 August 2020. We have discovered on 2 October 2020 that your Kahrs Ash Alabama Engineered Wood Flooring had design /manufacturing fault, which was confirmed by your assessor on 13 November 2020.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

They do not want to resolve this issue with me and I now have to consider legal action.

Vi er den uheldige ejer af et hvidlakeret egetræs gulv fra Kährs. Kort efter at gulvet var blevet lagt opdagede vi, at det slog revner og knasterne faldt ud. Vi har haft en mand ude fra Kährs, som ikke kunne se, at der var noget galt til trods for, at der er revner i omkring 10-20% af alle brædderne, som man kan få en negl ned i. Ifølge Kährs er det helt normalt for deres gulve, og ifølge Kärhs har det ikke betydning for kvaliteten, og det er kun hvis revnerne er så store at ens strømpe hænger fast i dem, at det er noget som Kährs vil tage ansvar for. Vi er rystede over den dårlige kvalitet og manglende ansvar. Vi skal aldrig have et gulv fra Kährs igen, og vi glæder os til, at vi har penge til at kunne skifte trægulvet selvom det er helt nyt, og vi er kede af, at vi skal kigge på det indtil da.

The Right Choice.
I have been looking for floors for a few months; the right color, style & of course price. I visited a store called Verion Floors in Raleigh & after a brief discussion, I was set on Kahrs. I loved Artisan floors in "Earth" color. Everything about it just looked & felt right. The price was right on budget too. So I went with it.

It has been installed for two weeks & wow, I absolutely love it.
I don't know much about this company but the people at Verion Floors spoke very highly of it & I'm glad I took their advice. A+

Собирался покупать массив. Заскочил в магазин на Балтийской больше из любопытства. Но задержался часа на полтора. Менеджер Сергей самым подробным образом рассказал про бренд, про конструкцию доски Черс, про разницу между маслом и лаком. Успевал при этом еще и кофе напоить.
Что еще понравилось, так это то, что в самом магазине очень наглядно был представлен однополосный пол.
Все это решило мой выбор.
Заказал дуб Бронзу по акции. Уложили, и нисколько не жалеем, что выбрали паркетную доску.
Сам занимаюсь торговлей, и могу сказать, что важно не только что продают, но и как.
