Kirkstall property lawyers have been fantastic throughout my house sale, they were very professional and where always there when I had any questions.

Highly recommend anybody selling or buying houses!

An excellent conveyancing service that had at its centre transparent communication and timely reporting so that as joint clients my wife and I always knew what was going on throughout the selling process. Exchange and completion was achieved as planned in spite of a challenging situation created by poor engagement by the purchasers' solicitor.

Carmen Li was my representative, on days she wasn't available or away someone always responded quickly.
Carmen was wonderful, kept me well updated and was patient throughout.
The other side complicated a few situations and Carmen pushed when needed, answered all questions I had (I'm a first time buyer so some issues I had no idea about) I'd be delighted to use them again when I move.

I've not had good experiences in the past with conveyancing lawyers, but Kirkstall Property Lawyers have given me a positive experience all the way through my recent house sale. Carmen,in particular, was brilliant, keeping me up to date and exuding positivity, even when I at one point began to have worries about the buyers, which thankfully turned out to be unfounded.
I also found the Customer Portal to be very user-friendly. All-in-all, a winner.

the service received from stonebow law was a nightmare - passed from pillar to post - no one knew anything to do with my case - right up until my case was handed over to Carmen. she single-handedly turned around my whole experience with the firm. She continuously kept me updated and responded quickly and professionally to all queries. she has been a pleasure to work with and is an asset to the company. I would not hesitate to use stonbow law on the provision Carmen dealt with in any future cases for me.

Purchase went through smoothly and the online portal made it easy to track progress throughout the whole process. Documents could be downloaded and the majority of documents you need to supply could just be uploaded to avoid the need to post everything. Was tricky to get hold of people on the phone but always replied same day via the online message system. Special thanks to Bobbie for ensuring that completion went through in tight timescales before mortgage offer expired. Service was good value for money.

I received regular and frequent updates. There was always someone available on the phone or via the online portal. Documentation was clear and readable. Every step felt supported. The case handler was efficient and friendly. Excellent service. Thank you.

like lots of things today, you must keep your solicitor up to date, and things progress well.

I can’t believe my process didn’t move forward at all for the 2 months! They won’t pick up the phone or even respond to emails saying they are not receiving anything…
Even the seller solicitor we’re trying to contact them to send them the contracts and they eventually did after 2 months..
It’s taking way too long.
Very poor, I would not recommend it to anyone.

We found the Company very helpful, reasonably priced and easy to communicate with

Kirkstall where fast and efficient. If I sent a message they would reply within a couple of hours.
Answered any questions I had and explained things I was unsure on. They kept us informed of each step all the way through on the online case tracker. I would highly recommend these for any legal requirements you have.

Unbelievably POOR!
6 months to complete the most straightforward sale with no onward chain. Worth reading the reviews, very similar complaints. How an estate agent recommends this outfit is beyond me. Great way of losing future business. Even the sales progressor employed by the agents couldn’t report any progress as communication was hard to come by. Completion date changed 3 times for no valid reason. Please take this review seriously and avoid at all costs or you’ll find yourself writing a very similar one yourself. AVOID!

5 stars for the speedy reply! I thought it would be at least 1month based on recent experiences. Just think if you provided the service you advertise you could get a positive review.

We found Kirkstall to be very professional, knowledgeable and attentive throughout.

Stuart and Ian were fantastic and really helped us through a complicated and emotive sale process.

The tracker really stood out to us as a great way to speed up the process, where rather than travelling in to an office to sign a document, we could print, sign and upload. Some documents obviously needed witnessing and sending tracked, however these were received and acted upon straightaway.

Their communication was great, we could always get in touch via the tracker to ask questions and seek reassurance.

We would definitely recommend Kirkstalls and when we decide to move again, we will be instructing Kirkstall.
