Wonderful stay, in this lovely property.
Stayed here with my wife just after new year. What a fantastic place to stay. From the warm welcome from Carl, till the day we left, everything was great. Everything was very clean, and there were lots of extras included, even a bottle of bubbly on ice for us. Even things like a coffee maker, and an air fryer were in the cottage, which is unusual, but very welcome. The hottub area is very private, and has a great view over the countryside. As a couple that does 3 of 4 of these types of stays a year, I can happily say that this is right up there with the best we've stayed in. Well done Carl and family, you've got something special here.
There are only 2 things that we could see, that could be improved. 1.There are hooks to hang your towels on by the hottub, but when the lid is open, they end up behind the lid (easy fix to move the hooks). 2. After using the hottub, we would have liked to have mopped the floor dry. However we couldn't find a mop to use.
These are such minor problems though, and I will have no problem with recommending this property to others.

Excellent from start to finish
Excellent from start to finish, had a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage in south west Scotland. Everything was clean and tidy and could have wished for a nicer setting.

Brilliant location,shops and area…
Brilliant location,shops and area fantastic , nice touch with having tea coffee & milk on arrival. the property is in much needed of a refurbishment, lots of stains on carpets and sofas ,dirty cooker , very dusty not been cleaned for a good month cobwebs everywhere lots of light bulbs not working , blinds didn't work on bedrooms and livingroom, garden a right mess with broken fence panels back gate hanging off,broken fridge freezer very unkepted property, should of stayed 2 nights but could only do the one .

I booked an accommodation 13/11.booking…
I booked an accommodation 13/11.booking paid. A couple of minutes I received an email confirming my booking. An email for instructions was emailed as well. The following day. I was sent an email that my booking was cancelled due to the owner cannot accommodate us on the dates that we picked. Not only that. I have to wait a week to have my money refunded. Now I have to wait for my money to become available before I can book another accommodation. I'm very disappointed!

I’m truly sorry to hear that your booking was cancelled, and I completely understand your disappointment.
As listing agents, the availability shown to us comes directly from the property managers we work with. At the time of your booking, these dates would have appeared as bookable based on the property managers calendar dates.
Unfortunately, we have no control over these dates or the cancellation of bookings. I would suggest contacting the property manager directly, as they may be able to provide more information about why this booking could not go ahead.

My booking went through and deposit paid to receive an email shortly after saying it wasn’t available as fully booked.

To explain further, we act primarily as listing agents, which means the availability of our listing are managed by the agents we work alongside.
At the time of booking, these dates were available, which is why you were able to proceed with your reservation. However, on rare occasions, property owners may cancel a booking, and unfortunately, this is something beyond our control.
If you contact the agent managing your booking, they’ll be able to provide more information about the reason for the cancellation.
