Final Sale Policy
If I could rate them a zero I would. Terrible experience with their “final sale” policy. I purchased online and it was too small. I have been able to return before and have it returned to gift card. This time it was strictly enforced and I was reprimanded by head office after voicing my opinion on their “final sale” policy. No customer service and no loyalty. Shame on Laura Canada, won’t be shopping there again. Way to build loyalty.
Return policy is wishy washy
I ordered a dress in two sizes as they said I would need a 14 but thought that crazy so I ordered a 12 which was still too big. Quality of material poor. I went to return at store they said it was past return date of 10 days which my email receipt said 14. And it was within the 14 days. The ladies at Sherwood park are definitely not helpful and I will never shop there again. I guess our goodwill store will get 2 dresses. So disappointed in the store Laura as a whole I definitely will never shop at Laura again.
Do not go there, wish I had seen the 2.2 star before
If I could give this company a zero I would, I bought a dress from them that was damage, by the way most of their dresses are cheap quality, please for person looking to buy graduation or prom dresses, look elsewhere, do not buy their dresses. They only gave me a gift card while the dresses are sitting in the store with rip. I even showed one of the worker the rip in a few of the dresses. They have no empathy for no one. My daughter was so sad, as it was the Monday and I did not have a backup dress for her graduation on the Wednesday.
Men permitted in change rooms
I was shopping at the Laura store at Bayshore in Ottawa when, much to my surprise, a man walked into the women’s change room and sat down. He stayed outside the cubicle his partner was in but within the hallway of the small dressing room in front of the cubicles, while I and others were trying on dresses and coming out of the cubicles to use the three-way mirrors, adjust fit, do up zippers, etc. He had full view of every woman coming out of a cubicle in clothing that they may or may not have felt comfortable in. So awkward, I left. Since when were men allowed inside the change rooms in women’s clothing stores? I would have thought a women’s clothing store would want to ensure their change rooms were safe spaces for women, both physically and mentally. (Please note I am completely comfortable with anyone who identifies as a woman using such change rooms.)
Incredibly cheap material
Incredibly cheap material. Ridiculously small. Every item arrived wrinkled beyond repair. Item was soaking wet as they wrapped it in tissue paper and tossed in a single ship bag.
You have to pay 10$ to return each item.
Not honoring the marked price.
I was shopping at Laura in Cross Iron Mills Mall Calgary, and found a pair of pants marked with a red tag for $69.99, regular $99.99. I went to pay for them but the manager would not honour the ticketed price and was quite rude about it. Very poor customer service.

I’d like to complain about how badly and unethically I was treated by customer service. I bought two dresses online and I was unable to get them back to a store within the 21 day return period. I was three days over, and they refused to give me a refund. I am a senior on disability and not able to get around with a car to get out to Laura‘s, which is a long way from where we live in Calgary and I explained all this to a few staff and nobody was willing to work with me. Everyone was very rude and just said no, this was their policy and there’s no exceptions. I think it is very terrible the way that seniors get treated these days.
Never ever buy through this company
Never ever buy through this company. They sell products that don’t fit. You have to return them your self to China at your own expense. Don’t risk it. Buy through a trusted merchant.

Nous avons été servi par Ikram, et c’était de loin notre plus belle expérience shopping depuis des années. Le choix de robe pour toutes les tailles et tous les goûts était impressionnant, la qualité des vêtements aussi à un prix tout à fait raisonnable et le service vip que nous a offert Ikram a aussi fait toute la différence. Elle a tout de suite compris nos besoins, nous a donné un avis honnête et a su mettre en valeur la silhouette de ma mère. C’était notre première visite à la boutique et assurément pas la dernière. Merci Ikram, et merci à Laura Canada de savoir sublimer les femmes de tous âges et de toutes tailles et formes. Ma maman sera assurément magnifique et en confiance pour ce jour si important.
Clarification of Laura's no return policy.
I have been a Laura online customer for several years and have been so pleased with customer service and the quality of my purchases that I have referred family and friends to Laura Canada. In the past year Laura removed the petite size option which helped with fitting. In addition, Laura's return policies changed. Formerly, I was able to exchange a sale item for a similar item in an alternate size. Not now. This will be my last online purchase from Laura. Laura used to appreciate their customers but it is obvious this is no longer the case.

I found good sales on plus size clothing. The staff was helpful and friendly, bringing other sizes to my dressing room. Yes, most clothing is a synthetic material but is much quality than other stores. I have clothes I bought at Laura’s years ago that I still wear.
The staff did not bother me but let me browse on my own but did ask if they could help me and took my choices to a dressing room.
Kelowna BC Laura’s dress shop
A young lady in the Kelowna BC Laura’s store named “Bianca” was by far the most helpful and pleasant sales rep ive have ever had help me.
I was trying to find a dress to wear to my daughters wedding and Bianca bent over backwards to accommodate me. She was patient, honest and so very aware of what suited me!! She really made me feel special and important! Bianca is a credit to the store!!!

Just lost a trusted customer. A piece bought online was grossly misrepresented in sizing ( lenght if pants 20 cm longer than usual) and “manager” just kept repeating” thus us final sale , nothing I can do about it even if I wanted to” didn t even TRY yo find a solution. Thus us fraudulous sales practice I. My book. Btw: this was in the new store in london Ontario ( the one that moved out of Masonville mall ). Long term customer - not anymore. There is enough stores to get nice clothing from, and some with an actual customer SERVICE

Bought a blouse from their website…
Bought a blouse from their website since they didn't have it in stock in stores. It arrived, tried it on, doesn't fit. Yes, it said final sale but its not my fault they make the material different as I got another top in the same size, fit fine. So I can't even exchange for a larger size, I'm stuck with this blouse, would have been faster to just throw the $50 out the window! Seriously, their customer service and return policy is horrible and severely over priced clothing!
No longer a choice of preferred clothing
On a second visit at the store, I was informed that they could not give me a 20% discount of the month of my birthday since I already made one purchase 2 weeks prior.
I informed the representative that I was never informed that there were a limit of times I could benefit of this discount.
For this reason, I will no longer shop at this store nor will I recommend them to my family and friends. For a reduction of 15.00, they have lost a loyal clients of 20 years.
