Je suis une cliente régulière du magasin Laura et Mélanie Lyne depuis plusieurs années..la compagnie me donne un titre VIP car je m habille la plupart du temps de chez eux.
Je trouve que les prix des vêtements ont augmenté de façon exagérée et les soldes sont au compte goutte..
La nouvelle politique que le retour de la marchandise est seulement sur carte cadeau est un manque de respect à la clientèle, aussi la politique de vente finale si le morceau est liquidé à 50%!
Mon expérience pour un retour avec la gérante du magsin Laura du carrefour Laval était affreuse, elle a été sec, sans aucune empathie..sans respect, me parle d un ton sec car j ai demandé de faire un échange d un article soldé .
Je ne mets plus les pieds au magasin Laura du carrefour Laval.
Dommage!

Loyal Laura Petite customer. I sent an email after noticing petite sizing removed online and was shocked at the abusive, condensing repsonse that I was mistaken believing I could only wear petites. I was told all women can wear regular sizes.As a 5 foot woman, the pant length is not the only issue! I will never shop Laura again !!'

I had purchased a dress for an upcoming wedding. While purchasing the dress I followed the size guide. I ordered the suggested size 16, when I received the dress it was huge on me . I called customer service line to ask if I could could exchange for a smaller size as it was final sale item. I was told I can exchange the dress but only in store. The closest store with the dress is almost two hours away. They have the smaller size in stock online but refused to do an online exchange and when I asked if it could be ordered to my closest store in my town I was also denied. I wasn't asking for my money back and was even willing to pay the shipping to get the dress in the proper size. I will never purchase another item from Laura and I will advise friends and family members not to as well. A store that is "suppose" to be higher end ,has the most ridiculous online exchange policy. I am now stuck with a dress that I cannot wear.

My online experience was the worst Ive ever had. Purchased 4 blouses on sale and they did not look good so when I tried to get a store credit, I was refused! What an completely out of touch policy and I will never shop at Laura’s again! I completely agree with the other review that predicted Laura’s bankruptcy because their online purchases can’t be returned for a store credit. Furthermore, it is NOT clearly written that final sale cannot be returned.

I need to buy a petite dress and now they don't sell them anymore. Absolutely ridiculous. i wont be back

Very disappointing to know that Laura ended the Petite collection.

I depended on Laura for petite dresses and pants without the added cost of alterations. Now they have discontinued all petite sizing. Goodbye Laura. No reason for me to shop there anymore.

Absolute Bullshit! No separate petite section. Can’t even find an email on mobile website to complain. Won’t be shopping there every again!

I recently found out I am not able to get petite sizing at Laura anymore. First it was the petite section was no longer. They mixed it in with regular so if you go to a store you have to search everywhere. This didn’t happen to the plus size. The excuse was that petite women would often go to the regular section so why not mix it in. Yikes. So then I started shopping Laura online which was ok but there was a separate designation for petites. A sales woman at one of the stores I would frequent told me that if people like me don’t attend in person then the stores will no longer exist. Well in a way I do see the logic in that. However, after 40 odd years of shopping at Laura for petite clothing, it’s not working for me as now they don’t even show petites online. I’ve sent two emails and no answer. I phoned and waited for at least 20 minutes to speak to someone about the changes. She said all you have to do online is key in the search bar petite dresses, tops etc. I have done that and when I click on an item it shows regular sizing so how am I to know if it is petite or not? It’s a big waste of my time and super disappointing for me a very loyal customer over the years with lots of my money spent at Laura. It’s a sad day in Canada for petite women. But fortunately there are other petite stores for women with whom I will spend my money!

The Laura Petite line was my go to given I am short-waisted. Regular fit does not sit well on my waist/hips. Beyond disappointed....

I would have given Laura a better rating if they haven't decided to discontinue their Petites line. For years, I have been able to shop online at Laura. ca, knowing the Petites line clothing would fit me well. Now, all of a sudden, they decided to drop the petites line but keep the regular and Plus size?? They are basically telling me to shop elsewhere!

VERY disappointed with Laura's decision to drop their petite clothing. Their rationale doesn't hold water because they are still carrying their "plus" line. Regular clothes do NOT fit short women.

Not happy about eliminating petit section. This is the only reason I shop there

Whoever decided to eliminate the petite section has no idea what fitting issues petite women have. We cannot buy a regular sized dress, but in a smaller size. We, petite women, have a smaller frame. Our back length is less than the average woman. Thus, any regular sized dress will be too long from the waste to the shoulders. This would neccessitate taking that dress to a seamstress, to shorten the back to waste length, if possible. Also, most tops will be too long in the sleeves, and too wide in the shoulders, and too broad in the hips.

Extremely disappointed that Laura Canada ended their online petite section.
I was told that it has merged with regular size and I just have to measure myself?
Nonsensical!
I always was able to buy a perfect petite fit in clothing especially coats.
My hope is that Laura Canada will do better.

Cheap quality with no customer service 😕.

First time to have been disappointed with LAURA. I bought a dress online, and although I know my size, it turned out that the dress did not fit me well, and they are saying it is a final sale; they would not exchange it for another item or give a gift card. Absolutely ridiculous when selling online. You do not get to try it until you receive it, and this treatment, and you cannot exchange it for another item!!!! Beware!!!

NEXT TIME YOU WILL HEAR THAT ALL OF THE STORES ARE CLOSING!!! THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH WHAT I AM SEEING ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ONLINE!!!

On April 30, 2025 I shopped at a Laura's store in London, ON. for a dress to wear to a wedding. The sales associate who assisted me was polite, very helpful and I narrowed my choices down to one. I asked the salesperson if there were any upcoming sales since Mother's Day was just around the corner. Twice she said, "let me talk to my manager" since I was hesitating to make the purchase in the event there would be an upcoming sale. After the second conversation she had with her manager, she returned saying there was a sale beginning May 8th. and if I returned that day with my sales receipt (no need to bring the dress) they would adjust the price. So on May 8th. I made the 30 minute drive back to the store in order to obtain the price adjustment. To my surprise (and I must admit irritation) the only option was to give me the refund on a gift card....store policy. This was never mentioned at the time I was making the purchase and I believe I would have postponed buying until the following week. I have spoken to Laura's head office but to no avail. The only repeated response was "I'm very sorry". Unfortunately my experience does not foster good customer care in my opinion and as I said to the person at head office....."in the future, Laura's will be at the bottom of my list when I am shopping for women's clothing. The majority of retail places in my experience adjust the price and the difference is repaid in the same form in which it was initially paid for. There are times when a sale item is permitted to be returned but the refund will be in the form of a gift card. Always, this is clearly stated before the purchase is made. In this case I was not returning the dress and I had purchased it at full price.

See my Google review. It’s all good if you buy. They will lie to customers just to get them to buy. Then won’t accept returns. They lie so they won’t accept returns. Don’t just happen to mum, but countless other women. And that’s just the ones who wrote a review.
