Great experience buying a second hand car. Lots of email support and even staying late to allow me to view the car.
Both Nick and Tony were east to deal with.

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but after my experience i think it’s only right, I purchased a car on finance in August 2023 not even a month after having the car it needed new brakes and discs, when the man took them off it literally crumbled in his hand's (the car had only been used by myself a handful of times) I mean in a month after purchase this shouldn’t of happened also it supposedly had been through a health check before I received it 🤦🏽‍♀️ anyhow I got the car checked over as I don’t want to use something that’s dangerous especially for my disabled child so on the checks they also told me it needed 2 new tyres, I have had nothing but trouble with this car since getting it especially with oil I mean the car should not need 1lr and half every month this has went on since September 2023 unfortunately they can’t find a problem but also said this is not normal.
If I have learnt anything from this I will never get another car on finance because you never know what you actually get .

Avoid this garage. I should have listened to the previous 1-star reviews of this company.

I paid £187 for the initial investigation, and the result is the same as what I told them - the turbo. Graham sent me an email about the estimated quote just for the turbo, plus the initial investigation charge for a total of £2,700 plus, and it may go up depending on the accumulated problems of the car.

To make a long story short, I told Graham that I would transfer my car to a cheaper garage instead because my budget is short, so I’ll just pay the £187 initial diagnostic charge, which I did. Then they put my car outside of the garage.

To my surprise, when I opened the car bonnet, most of my car’s parts were missing, and I found them dismantled and scattered at the back of my car (as seen in the pics below) including the vehicle ECU or motherboard. It’s not normal to me so I asked Graham to please put them back at least, and he said, “No, we will not put them back.”

I felt bullied and that my car was sabotaged. It’s not fair.

He told me to report him to West Yorkshire Trading Standards and check our emails, which have nothing to do with my car parts that have been stripped out and not put back.

I feel like my car has been sabotaged and I’ve been bullied by this garage. KARMA will get you, Graham. Maybe not now, but sooner.

I bought a car from the commercial rd site and had a couple of very minor issues, great friendly service from Kevin who sorted them without any bother. Would recommend having a look here, competitively priced motors, no hassle test drive, not pushy but on hand to answer any questions etc.

Returned within a week of purchasing a work van to get my mum a car.

I bought a car on finance from here in December.
Prior to picking the car up, I was told it would have any work doing it needed to get it through an MOT.
I gave them ample time to do this, putting back the collection date by five days to accommodate them.
Yet, when I arrived to collect the vehicle on the day, it was still on the ramp being worked on. Even though I was assured it would be ready. It was gone five o’clock before being ready.
The car seemed fine on the drive home, from Leeds to Lincoln.
The next morning I set off for work and something broke before I got out of my street.
It sounded like a coil spring breaking.
I took the car to a local garage, they informed me that it was a broken coil spring. Not only that, but Leeds Motor Company had fitted a part incorrectly which could well be the reason for the failure.
Furthermore, I was informed it never should have passed an MOT in the condition it was in.
The brakes were well below the standard expected to pass & a front suspension strut was insecure. They fitted a winter tyre on the near side front, even though the other three were all weather tyres.
To me, this is at best incompetent. Leeds Motor Company have denied any wrong doing & have not done anything to rectify these issues.
I’ve had no choice but to carry out the repairs myself, resulting in a bill in excess of £1000.
To say I’m disappointed that my new (to me) £10000 car has cost me a thousand pounds, in my first month of ownership, is a huge understatement.
Buyer beware.
