Awesome bike shop, travel miles to get there but it's worth it.

The item I wanted was in stock at a very good price and as the shop is only down the road why buy online.

My parner a I recently got back into biking, not been on bikes since we were kids. We odered our bikes at leisure lakes in Bury. We arrived for collection trying to contain our excitement.. Angie (best sales person ever) somehow saw through the facade, spotted our suppressed giddiness from buying our first bikes as adults and dragged it out of us as she presented us with our bikes. We left there like kids on Christmas day as Angie performed her new bike dance in the car park for us.. honestly the best service that iv ever had from a shop..

I purchase a used E bike privately and it came with no battery keys. So I apprehensively visited Leisure Lakes to see if they would assist me by connecting it to their Bosch diagnostic system to try and find the key number for me. The member of staff I dealt with (apologies to him as I can’t recall his name) couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did he get the key number for me, but he updated the bikes software and gave me a full report on the bikes systems. He also gave some very useful advice on tyres and swapping to tubeless running instead of using inner tubes. Honestly he couldn’t have been more helpful. He took time to explain the differences in the bewildering choice of tyres and advising which would be most suitable. I felt valued as a customer and I didn’t feel at all patronised, despite being an older customer and a novice in the eMTB world. I will have no hesitation returning to Leisure Lakes and will be booking in with them to get the swap over to tubeless tyres. Thank you Leisure Lakes. 5 Star service.

Ordered the correct size cycling shorts according to your size chart, however they were too small when they arrived.

Size chart against the reality needs to be addressed. I gave 2 stars simply because other items have been fine.

Staff helpful, shop well presented and clean. Prices not cheap but comparable to everyone else.

Having stored my mountain bike in an outdoor shed for the past decade I decided that it was in need of some TLC and a service so booked it into my local Leisure Lake Bikes. To my surprise I found out that it was still in good condition and just needed a clean to get back out on it and have fun. Honest advice, great service and most of all being made to feel like I wasn't an idiot ticked every single box for me - you have a customer for life and I love that my youngest son got to experience it all too and learn how you should treat customers.

I ordered the bike online it was delivered to my local store within a few days the bike was completely set up and the staff were very helpful and friendly I will definitely use leisure lakes in the future for accessories and services highly recommended I’m really pleased with my purchase

Leisure Lakes Bikes were superb, from ordering after they were closed online, to delivering the bike the next day. Then due to a manufacturing defect of the purchased bike, Leisure Lakes Bikes resolved the issue the day of the call. All in all I can't fault them from the products and pricing they offer to their customer service. Very pleased indeed.

LL Bury : Bit of a shambles but really nice people. Bought an ex demo bike - suggested buying some bits and swapping over before despatch. First they didnt have some of the bits that were listed as in stock, then they wanted £100 workshop fee for swapping stuff over- So i just didnt bother: then there was a workshop queue and multiple days wait. Upshot is 7 days from purchase to ship. No real problem though and as I say good people - Devon was a great guy with top comms and they comped me a Fox raceshirt for my inconvenience.

Really friendly, item well priced and overall happy with experience

Went to pick up an internet order, ready and waiting and with my loyalty points picked up a disc brake cleaner for free.
Great staff helpful and knowledgeable

All staff very helpful at sorting out accessories for the bike and problems (tubeless setup not done, problem with rear mech after first ride, mudguard). Would buy again despite the problems!
