When calling up most companies customer…

When calling up most companies customer services lines, the contact details are often vague and the customer service very poor. With life labs I had a very positive experience with both Donna and Usman, who were extremely helpful when I had issues activating my kit. It’s great to have a supportive customer service team on hand who’re pleasant to speak to and knowledgeable in what they do.

Fantastic support

Easy to order, easy to do test, step by step instructions. Fantastic customer support staff.

Best part of this was being able to speak to a nutritionist who helped to explain the test results and give advice on how to proceed.

Just got my results I have strong…

Just got my results I have strong intolerance to 26 things….who knew 🤷🏿‍♂️. Was concerned about a reaction to shrimp which sometimes causes my lips to puff and possibly wheat but I’m not intolerant to shrimp but am to most meats and poultry and all nuts and lentils and many more..I’m Indian by heritage and eat lentils regularly without issue..no turkey for me this Christmas as apparently I’m intolerant strongly!!!!! A little sarcasm from me but this test is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever heard and actually dangerous if you listen to it..biggest pile of crap ever and a huge huge waste of money…so angry about the results. Would really like my money back

Regarding your results, All standard curves and quality control checks for the Allergy (IgE) and Intolerance (IgG4) tests passed internal verification steps indicating that the results generated during the test process were acceptable from a technical perspective. This indicates that there were no issues with the testing process and the results generated are considered to be a true representation. The CCD result is also low which indicates that the likelihood of cross-reactivity generating false positive results is low.

To help provide a better understand of your results, I can arrange a complimentary 30-minute nutritional session that will allow you to go through the results in more detail.

I ordered the test for my son and turns…

I ordered the test for my son and turns out he is 100% reacting to the foods he eats frequently and does not react to foods that he does not eat. Sounds suspicious. Then I went to research further and found out its quite common to get this kind of result with this type of test. I am disappointed that I spent 100 pounds and did not get results that are even close to real picture. I am not refering to the usual suspects like gluten and dairy, it's literally everything he ate in the past month.

I am very sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the test report for your son.

As IgG (intolerances) have a short-term memory, a test is more likely to pick up items during testing if the item has been consumed in the last three months.

In addition to this, intolerances can take from 10 minutes to 48 hours to show symptoms and therefore it can be very difficult to determine from observation alone what is causing the symptoms.
This is why many people may keep trigger foods in their diet because the link between the food item and the symptoms is not obvious.

If you would like to discuss the test results, I can see your test package purchased comes complete with a free 30-minute nutritional therapist consultation.

Use Direct Competitors These are Terrible

Original Order was middle of October and still no results today. 23/11/23!

Apparently first sample didn't arrive. Had to wait 16 days and threat of refund before they'd send another test out as apparently the post can take that long. Do me a favor!

Sent 2nd test Thursday 16th Nov promised results by yesterday afternoon as it was confirmed my samples were in the lab. No results arrived and same old crap on the chat. We're still awaiting your sample !

Unprofessional and basically bore you with their generic pre written responses to keep you waiting as long as possible to not give you a refund.

DO NOT USE. Used a a direct competitor results within 6 days of sending back.

I can see from your order that we sent a replacement kit 13th of November and received this back at our lab 20th of November.

Unfortunately, the kit was not activated in your account and the sample arrived without a submission card.

This was raised with our queries team and resolved very quickly.
Your completed test results were emailed on 23rd November at 3.43pm by our lab.

Our team has reached out via our web chat tickets to advise on the status of your testing and resend your test results.

As we have resolved your issue, would you please consider amending or removing the review as it contains misleading information?

I personally thought this service was…

I personally thought this service was brilliant, both the first time I used it and now the second time - I do have a question about some weird results between the two but withhold judgement until i have had the follow up consultation.

I have seen other reviewers give bad rating just because they were not contacted for the post test consultation - whilst i dont think this deserves a bad rating, i do think the company should take note of how to improve this customer experience by sending a link to the customer for this purpose so we dont have to ask - just my opinion.

Very unprofessional

Very unprofessional. Ordered 2 tests for my wife and myself. Included in the test should have been a 30
Minute consultation to go over the results and explain what they mean. Since receiving our results a week ago we have not had any call regarding the consultation. So basically we have test results that really mean nothing.

Nutritionist was excellent

Having the follow-up call with the nutritionist, Maria, was so incredibly helpful. She made sense of the findings, and has given me a clear way forward. The results from the test were comprehensive and easy to follow, but Maria added an extra layer of understanding.
I would certainly recommend taking the test, and I would whole-heartedly recommend a follow-up call with a nutritionist.
