Booking Issues
I am giving Alex 5 stars for his prompt response and for instigating a querie regarding why I can’t make an online booking.

We are sorry to hear you have not had a good experience. Your review appears to be about a different company - we are Lifelab Testing, an online-only allergy testing company in the UK. We do not have a clinic or take appointments as we dispatch home test kits for customers to mail back to our lab.

Dangerously restrictive diet advice
Delays to lab turn around - had to be regularly chased
Results are not accurate - you cannot test intolerances by blood test. An appointment with allergy consultants revealed I only have 2 allergies.
Life labs food restriction advice would have left me with an extremely limited diet, despite already having lost a considerable amount of weight due to health issues i was trying to make sense of. Something life lab were informed of.
This fed my anxiety around foods. For some, this can lead to disordered eating and poor relationships with food.

Excellent service
I suffer with bloating and gas and have tried to eliminate certain trigger foods from my diet myself, a friend recommended me to lifelab and I had the full body test. It was easy to order and it arrived quickly and was easy to follow. I thought the results would come in an email and it was only when I went into my account that I realised that the results were available on line! Anyway a few Allergys and a lot of intolerance results set me to wondering what I was supposed to eat and in a bit of a flap🤔back on my account and realised I was entitled to a half hour nutritionist phone consultation. I have spoken to Lorraine this evening, she was extremely Knowleable and helpful and gave me loads of tips and advice, I can't thank her enough. An excellent service throughout.

So I finally got my Lifelab Testing…
So I finally got my Lifelab Testing allergy and intolerance results, my first sample I didn’t give enough blood, plus Royal Mail postal strikes Christmas and new year, oh and I forgot to activate my second test 🙈 but after the lifelab team did some investigation I got my results!
I had a feeling Tomatoes and eggs would be on there as both these set off my geographical tongue, cabbage and green beans threw me a little bit these are both mild intolerances so not to worried, horse hair was a surprise but I’ve never been around horses so I wouldn’t have known! Cashew nuts I only eat in small amounts so was surprised to see I was highly intolerant to those.
I’m going to eliminate most of these foods from my diet and see if my digestion improves, I’ve had tummy issues for most of my adult life so hopefully this will help improve those symptoms!
All this from a simple scratch of a finger.

Couldn't access account

I am battling with customer servives…
I am battling with customer services which is persisting in being as massively unhelpful as it can be. The phone remains permanently unanswered with a message saying the line is closed and opening hours are between 6am, and 4pm. Obviously I ring between business hours and the phone is never ever answered. The system of activating my code as on their web site does not work. Hopeless in terms of administration on every possible level. Please do not use them

Our customer service team have been in contact with you yesterday to help you resolve your issue. The test kit was not activated by the customer before sending to our lab and therefore the kit was not linked to your account, which prevented your test results being delivered to your account.
Our customer service team worked together with our lab to locate your submission card and activated this in your account for you to ensure you received your results by the end of the day.
We are very sorry to hear you were unable to reach our team via telephone today – our telephone lines were open all day today with operators on hand taking calls from customers. However, if an operator is not available at the time of calling, your call will be placed in a queue which our automated message advises of.
We thank you for your feedback and will take your points on board for future improvements.
