I spoke to Rosie T in the pensions teams, she was absolutely brilliant, she helped me understand my pension pot.
Rosie listened to what I was asking and took a genuine interest in what I was wanting to know.

Carmel I would like to express my gratitude for the way you handled my pension transfer. Prior to your help the lifesight experience was poor at best.
When you came on board and spoke to me in December your genuine concern took all the upset and worry away.
You apologised for the experience I had been through and said you would get it completed. From our first call you kept me informed calling and e mailing as and when you said you would.

If I could give them a zero.
If I could give them a zero I would. I have been trying to transfer a very small pension to my main scheme for the last few weeks. A typical scenario is they send a form for you to complete. You complete it send it back then hear nothing. You the send a what’s happening mail and get a response oh we need more information and another bunch of forms to complete. This has happened time and time again . They do everything possible to be unhelpful and have zero proactivity. Avoid like the plague!

Transferring into Lifesight Pension
I spoke to Teddy regarding Transfer my other pension into Lifesight and he kindly helped how to use online Transferring into Lifesight. He also gave me an option if i wanted the form via email or post.
This was dealt with in a very professional manner.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs!
Customer service is non existent, they have been sent paperwork 4 times and still refuse to acknowledge receipt.
They take ages to reply to messages, if they even reply at all.
Dealing with this company is so stressful and nobody takes accountability for anything so it’s difficult to actually get any update or any action on anything.

Out of date paper system - Avoid
I am retiring in a couple of months. My broker is arranging my annuity. My personal pensions have been transferred across within days e.g. L&G who use Origo. However with WTW, they are still using out of date paper forms. These forms I promptly signed and returned only to find several days later that they forgot to include certain forms. These I again signed promptly and returned. After several more days I then get told that they could not verify my address and could I send additional proof. I promptly sent over 4 documents e.g. HMRC that had my address as proof. I find this crazy as I have worked for WTW for over 5 years and they have my address on record. All this is delaying the completion of my annuity and having a negative impact on my eventual income. Contacting those dealing with this transfer is not possible. You have to phone a helpline number which is answered in the UK but those responsible are based in Manila (Philippines) and so cannot deal directly with them. I find the whole process shocking for such a high profile company.

Whilst LifeSight do not currently use Origo for completing transfers, we can complete transfers using ViaNova for certain schemes however, L&G is not one of those.
