A nightmare online buying experience
I ordered a coat from Mackage via their online store as well as boots. The boots fit so I kept them but the coat did not so I initiated a return and that is where it all went wrong. More than one month later, I have still been unable to get this coat returned, primarily because Fedex is impossible to deal with and Mackage customer service is not very helpful in providing alternatives. UPS has now told me they can't accept the shipment without the sales receipt so I now have this coat back at home with me, 1000$ lighter in my pocket and still no winter coat. This will be my last Mackage purchase ever. The product is overpriced and service is shockingly poor. I will end up hopefully sending this back via my own shipper with insurance so at least I will not lose all of my money, though I doubt I will ever see a credit from Mackage...I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but feel I need to warn others off buying from the European online store.

Do not buy mackage, it’s made very cheaply. Stiching coming apart and the amount of bobbles appeard is ridiculous.
Honestly you are better off going to primark to buy a jacket, it will last you longer and You can buy 50 for the overpriced rubbish mackage sell.
They just some random company who have added large price tags!

I bought a Mackage jacket ($1500 USD) in their NYC flagship store for the first time and they gave me without tag. I assumed this this brand doesn’t have a tag.
They have a 30 day return policy, but refused to refund because it has no tag.

Still waiting for produce told by FedEx that address is wrong I have tried calling and speaking to there on line chat …. They simply cannot get the fact that they have not put first line off address or the full post code there response for me to track and trace via FedEx . I tried to remind them I have paid and recieved nothing yet . Not there problem I agree with previous reviews there aftercare is not what you would expect from a company of this caliba
Really, the best CS experience I ever had!
I needed a warm coat and started my research. I ended on the Mackage e-com. I had questions about their products and I could reach in 2 seconds somebody via their online chat. They could always answer my questions straight away. I ordered a coat. Only then did I check the Trustpilot page and started to panic reading all those negative reviews.
I received my order within 4 days. The coat looked amazing and warm, but I ordered the wrong size. I could create a return easily and for free. Again the online chat was super helpful and friendly (not a chatbot, but real trained people).
I could order the new size and got reimbursed for the first purchase.
At the end, this is the best customer service experience I ever had. The people answering me on the chat really wanted to help me and they did. The Mackage coat was over my budget, but they were so friendly I that I broke the piggy bank. Hiring trained people is worth it!
Voilà, you now know my life :-) Thank you Mackage's staff!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. My new coat arrived with stains on the hood and back, and when I asked about remedy, I was told to send the coat across the country and that cleaning would be $100. So I'm paying for your shoddy product? Any company interested in keeping customers happy and interested in referral business would own any mistakes. I can think of a dozen other options for remedying this, and none involve the customer paying additional.

Bought a mackage dixon 6 years ago and trim got stolen. They told me to send it to them just to tell me we dont make that model anymore and customer service were rude to another level! Letting me feel as if I was wrong to want to pay for a new trim for an old jacket. I complained again to another customer service agent only to agree with them.
Bottom line, the moment you buy their jacket expect to never receive any customer service after, the jacket is on you now. Never bought from them again never will.
Horrible service
Horrible service ! I never expected to receive such poor customer service after having to request a repair on a damaged zipper. My whole experience was terrible and I would strongly recommend not purchasing from this company unless you are willing to accept product that is likely to have flaws and quickly damage.

Too bad there’s no option for negative stars! Ordered two coats and only one arrived, but with missing pieces, but the packing slip said two coats were in a single box. The box did not appear damaged or subjected to tampering. Clearly someone on Mackage’s fulfillment team screwed up and only one coat was in the box. Called customer service and they (unbelievably) said (1) they “investigated” and arrogantly determined that two coats were in the box, as though their fulfillment process is infallible — even though there are several reviews complaining about incomplete orders and they acknowledged that the coat that did arrive was missing pieces, (2) they are not responsible for delivering items purchased from them, but FedEx is, so we should contact FedEx and take it up with them and ALSO file a police report — ignoring that it absolutely is their responsibility, not anyone else’s, to make sure the order reaches our home and, if there is an issue with whoever THEY chose to contract with to deliver their products to their customers, that’s an issue between Mackage and their service provider that has nothing to do with the customer, as well as that the customer should never be burdened with spending the time it takes to chase down Mackage’s service provider and go to a police station to file a report (people who spend thousands on their coats tend to have busy lives), and (3) they would NOT refund our money unless we followed their idiotic and tone deaf process of chasing FedEx and filing a police report on OUR time. We simply contacted AMEX and reported their failure to perform/deliver and disputed the charge, as well as returned the other coat for a refund, after which their idiotic customer service reminded us to do their work for them to get a refund on the other coat that THEY FAILED to deliver. In this one instance, they lost customers who spend thousands of dollars a year on their brand. Never experienced such incredible stupidity and arrogance with any retailer. With such stupidity and arrogance, as evidenced by the 70+% decidedly negative reviews here, their days as a going concern business are definitely numbered.
One would have to be insane to do any business with this complete joke of a company/brand. Buy from a company/brand that’s actually ready for the big league, rather than a pretender like Mackage that charges big league prices but has farm team performance…

I don't normally leave a review unless my experience is very positive or incredibly appalling!!
First of all, once I placed my order online, Mackage was supposed to let me know when my coat was shipped, and I didn't receive any notifications until I had to ask their customer service for an update, and then they provided my tracking details. The delivery was delayed, most likely due to FedEx's delays so I won't fault Mackage for that.
HOWEVER, when I received my coat this morning, I noticed there are two items missing which were supposed to come with the coat and is part of the whole product - the removable fur for the hood and a belt for the coat. In the years I've placed online orders, I have never receive my order with missing items. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Especially for a coat that is £700! I had high hopes for this coat but now I regret purchasing this coat on Mackage.com
When I called their UK customer service number (I'm based in the UK), at 12pm - it had an answering machine saying that they are closed..... closed at 12pm on a week day?! I tried the live chat function, no joy so I left a message. I also emailed their customer service but still have not received a response.

I purchased Kadalina jacket on January 2019. My jacket no longer water repellent after I dropped for dry cleaning at their suggested dry cleaners. I try to contact customer service for more than a week, no any response.

Terrible quality and poor service
Terrible quality and poor service. I ordered the Baya jacket online after trying it on in store. I absolutely loved it but I’m sad to say that after one month the leather had begun to wear through! The inside arm of the right side rubs against one of the zippers. Customer service told me this is “regular wear”. Im sorry, but after wearing maybe 10 times this should not be happening. I’ve purchased lamb leather jackets elsewhere and have not had this issue. In fact, I’ve had an absolutely amazing repair experience with one of Mackage’s direct competitors. I’ll definitely not be spending my money with Mackage when there are many other superb choices.
I’ve had the jacket one month and customer service will not do anything. I can’t say this is customer service at all. I’m very disappointed.
Selling damaged items and not fixing them
I bought the Money Belt purse on Boxing day online. It came with damaged lock - the arrow does not stay, but falls out when I wear it. I tried exchanging it at the Yorkdale mall store, but they didn't allow me because I ordered online. I tried opening a repair ticket, but the response was "Kindly note that you need to turn the arrow like a key in order to lock the arrow into place."
I will never buy at Mackage again. It looks like they sell damaged items at the sale time and take no responsibility. "Lifetime warranty" is a complete lie.

do not ever buy from Mackage. I returned an item to a store and they never refunded me back my money. Corporate customer service is useless and they are saying they cannot help. Local store doesn't answer the phone and not responsive. It does not matter what their coats are like. Honestly some of them are hideous. Do not ever ever buy from this brand.

I am in dismay over poor quality and service
I am in dismay over the poor quality of my $1,800 Morris military parka. After one season, it’s coming apart at the seems and the fur that the inside is lined with is coming out in patches.
Now comes the worst part; their ABYSMAL customer service. They force you to pay to send the jacket into the repair shop for review. Three weeks later they get back to me claiming the damage is normal ‘wear and tear’ (after one season?!), so I’ll have to pay an additional $200 for repairs, which are going to take the rest of the winter to complete. After paying $1,800 before taxes for a winter jacket only last year, I am now stuck without it in the middle of the winter and out even more cash.
Just shocking. STAY AWAY.

Ordered a coat and although it was beautiful it didn’t suit me. Definitely order a size up. Returning the coat was easy, money was back in my account 12 days after FedEx collected the order. I live in Lancashire, UK.
