The work they did was good but the valuation at the start of proceedings was far far too high and this delayed sale of the property.

Wonderful selling experience with Manning Stainton Wakefield. I was selling my dad’s bungalow after losing him. Lee came out to meet me there and was so kind and understanding. Didn’t push me to make an instant decision to sell but gave me time and all the info I needed. Due to his compassion I wouldn’t have trusted the sale with anyone else. All the staff in the Wakefield branch were great and kept me updated at all stages. Once a sale was agreed I was passed onto my move manager Ann - I cannot praise this lady enough, she guided me through the sale and kept everything moving. Ann deserves so much praise- she held my hand through tricky times and listened to my wows and was understanding of how difficult the situation was for me… their needs to be more Ann’s in the world !!! she even managed to make me feel a little less crazy when I had a mini meltdown haha. Was daunted by the whole prospect of selling our house but from day one when they came and took photos the process was explained in a manner that made it feel much more comfortable.
