I had my car insurance with marshmallow for the year 2025… everything was fine until the end of term I didn’t receive a quote for year 2026 so I’ve purchased a new policy with a new provider and it was an easy straightforward process, so I’ve unsubscribed from payment to marshmallow… as I wasn’t informed of any new quote… and now they are sending me that I have to pay £155 for this month witch a price I didn’t agree to or was informed about and charging me 25 pounds for late payment.
Well good luck with that!
This company shouldn’t operate in the uk they seem to be very crap and just wanting to take money without providing a transparent service

My experience that is so stressful when you need to talk to someone and there is no phone call where you can speak to someone all just on live chat which is sometimes delaying to respond and sold the problem. But I m happy to update my policy with a help of Venus who helped me update my policy that I will be driving without stressing now she did great

Marshmallow I don't understand why i keep receiving messages that you ending policy on 17th said you ending on 18th, 18th another messages saying you ending on 19th, on 19th same messages said you ending on 20th. Now you charging me for a car you basically know it was written off by same you. I think is unfair for you to charge me for a car thats no more. You cancelled on 18th why messaging again you cancelled on 20th? Return my money please.

I’ve had a great experience with Marshmallow so far. The price was the best I could find, and the service has been top-notch. The team in the app responds quickly and is always friendly and helpful. Recently, Mikey assisted me and even managed to apply a discount when renewing my policy — really appreciated! Highly recommend 👍

I don't recommend Marshmallow to anyone. They say that if you have a car insurance history (No Claims Discount) in your country, bring it; we will give you a discount based on that. I said I had an eleven-year NCD, and based on that claim, Marshmallow's insurance was £ 120, and I was very satisfied. Marshmallow said now show me the proof that you had NCD for eleven years. I brought the proof and uploaded it. They said it should be an official English translation. I paid 45 pounds for the translation, then Marshmallow says I don't accept this and they increased my insurance to 210 pounds. If it's not a scam, first see my documents and then say whether you accept or not. You first force me to sign a contract and then reject my documents. And then you try to talk to Marshmallow, you don't know, whether it's a robot, AI, or what. They don't give the right answer. Then I thought if someone has an accident, how would Marshmallow respond?

Their customer service doesn't exist. They only provide it for claims. I had an issue logging into their app and another uploading docs (that they requested erroneously), and couldnt' reach anyone at all - by phone, email, nothing - for 3+ weeks. I even called their Claims line and asked one of the Claims reps to escalate it, she couldn't do anything.

Pretty branding - that's about all this company has to offer

I have been with Marshmallow for 3 years now without making a single claim and my experience with them has been good interms of policy pricing which is affordable, though there customer care response can be slow sometimes but the good thing is your request will be attended to in the long run.
