What can I say, Craig was a total gentleman who was as helpful as you could’ve asked for and nothing was too much hassle! From start to finish was nothing but top class help and we couldn’t speak any higher of him. If anyone goes into Renault I’d highly recommend Craig.

The recall work on my car was completed as promised within an hour including a wash and vacuum. The staff is, as usual, very friendly and welcoming.

I am on my second Renault supplied by Michells, both have been ex demo cars but the service I have received has been second to none. Hats off to Craig who helped us obtain both cars.

I don’t recall any issues with the 1st car - a Kadjar - servicing was always smooth and the garage assisted with pick-up from home, a curtesy car or a drop off and pick up in town when requested.

The 2nd and current car is a Megane EV60 - a really great car from design down to performance and running costs. I really like that it was designed from the ground as an EV and it shows in many ways.

We did recently have an issue with the alarm system - it kept sounding for no apparent reason, which did not help our relationship with the neighbours. Michells booked the car in for review. The 2 hour window for the work was maintained and was off again after a cup of coffee and a read of a magazine. Apparently the issue was some cables that had been initially installed touching other cables, which induced a current in the alarm circuit, setting off the alarm.

Since taking the car back the issue has not re-occurred.

If you are in the area and in need of another car I would recommend Michells.

All the staff I dealt with ( Julia, Trudie and her colleague) were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Although there were problems with the repair I was kept informed throughout. The aftercare was also up to the standard I have come to expect from Mitchell’s.

I had a persistent problem with a spanner warning light constantly on the dashboard. I took the car to Mitchells and they tested the engine computer and all was well and then took the car for a road test to ensure the electronic handbrake was working correctly. The fault was put down to the next service due date not having been reset by another garage that did the previous service and once over the designated mileage the warning light came on
Charge for the time and labour NOTHING!. I was told they had done nothing except for the time of a mechanic to undertake the checks. Excellent service. Amazing customer service from a Renault main dealer.
