I was very very pleased with all your help and service

I would avoid this service if you don't want to be stung for hidden fees. Just look at the article about them in the Daily Telegraph and the way they have treated a grieving widow.

Read the small print. No cheap stuff come at a cost.

Read the fine print before you agree to the terms and conditions.
I still to date have not received any proof of the will being destroyed.

NOTE: I posted a review of how I felt about this company but was threatened with legal action and libel if I didn't remove it by the owner of the company (whose name I have been told to remove from the review, at the request of the owner), which I have duly done, to avoid costly legal fees.
UPDATE: I have now removed the company owners name from this review after he complained to trustpilot to have the review removed for violation of terms. What is the point of a review site if you are not allowed to provide an honest review, be it positive or negative??

I would however advise anybody who wishes to use this company to READ the small print before signing anything as Medex Direct Ltd T/A Nine Minute Will, become the Executors of your will (read the other reviews on here as to what that means) I had a new Will written elsewhere and when I let them know I was sent a bill for £528 for 2 Wills to be stored for 8 years, and retrieval fees!! That is the reality of using this online company to have your Will written. It seems very reasonable when you first sign up, but becomes very costly later. This is an honest review and I will not take this down Mr ***** ****(company owner), however much you wish to threaten or bully me with your legal representation. Trustpilot is here to give honest reviews and protect people from being taken advantage of...end of!

I HIGHLY recommend anyone to do your due diligence before putting your signature on anything.

I would like to add that if you are thinking of cancelling with this company you should seek legal advice, as the minute you tell them you are cancelling or have a Will written elsewhere that supersedes theirs, and tell them, you will be given 30 days to pay their invoice or they will commence legal action, i.e A County Court Judement! In my case a £528 bill from nowhere with just 30 days to cough up! If you are in hardship, they will make it worse. Not a nice company. Too late for me unfortunately, but learn from my mistake, please!

It is ironic that I have been forced to remove the name of the owner of this company who has very happily been ripping people off for years. This is a country of free speech and as such I reserve the right to write an HONEST review of my dealings with this terrible company. Save yourself the pain and steer well clear!!

I would not recommend this company at all costs!

Avoid this company at all costs - the up front service seems really efficient and well explained - hence some good reviews, however they pray on people’s lack of experience in making wills, and hide a multitude of hidden charges in their long terms document (which you just check with a tick box when making the Will initially). These charges are buried well into the terms document and only come to light when you either want to change the will or have it destroyed.. or even worse, once you have passed away - where these charges will then be passed on to your beneficiaries and deducted from your estate. The way they do this is that they appoint themselves as executors, which then allows them to make further extortionate charges once you are gone by only employing their own (expensive) lawyers etc.

This will massively eat away at your estate (think £000s). If you get an invoice from this company whilst you are still alive for storage charges which you feel weren’t made clear to you when creating the will with them initially, my advice is to say you will defend this in court. Their fake threats of CCJs / court proceedings which come from the truly obnoxious Managing Director of the company are defendable in Small Claims court due to the fact that the charges aren’t made crystal clear when you initially sign up for the Will creation service and pay the low initial fee. The whole process becomes a lot more complicated, unfortunately however, if you are fighting this company as a beneficiary of an estate.

If you want to make any changes to your will - DO NOT contact this company again - simply create a new signed and witnessed Will dated from a later date than the Will made with Nine Minute Will and make sure you write at the start of it “I declare this will to be my last will and testament, and I revoke all prior wills and codicils” and destroy any copies of it in your possession. This then renders any previous Will null and void and the company can’t extract their fees from your estate and doesn’t know to invoice you for the will storage fees hidden in their terms.

My personal circumstances had changed, and I was in a situation where I needed to cancel my will with Nineminutewill.
At first I was very worried as I had read some reviews stating that they charge you a lot of money for cancelling and shredding your will.
However I was very pleased with the response, firstly from Christine Keats, and then from Steven Katz.
Not only did they respond immediately but understood my situation, and Steven kindly cancelled and shredded my will at no extra cost.

Do not use this company to do a will cancelled mine and slapped with a bill over £200 as I didnt read it through properly the conditions .
My new will done professionally with warm and took a few hours .these are your executors and will end up with thousands of your money when your gone .disgraceful and spoke to me like crap when I wasn't happy about having to pay basically to have the will shredded

This company are disgusting they put my sister though hell after losing her husband
The experience happened when she at her most vulnerable but this is what they play on her metal health was severely affected
So much so she could not be left alone.
Please please do not use this company

This was the most disgraceful experience of my life!! I know that sounds unbelievable but I can’t express the horrendous feeling of vulnerability at a time when I had just lost my beloved husband to cancer. My husband did this Will to ultimately help me but he didn’t know at the time what he was signing because I have been through hell. This company accessed my husbands bank account and told me that from the total in the accounts being £8.000 the owner of this company and the Soliciter acting on his behalf would take £7.500! Can you believe the disgraceful behaviour of this!!! Please never ever do an online Will. You won’t see any of these people but they think that your money is there’s to take!!! And they really think that they can keep the money my diseased husband worked so hard for. Go to the your local high street where you can access a Soliciter face to face. Please please don’t ever ever do an online Will. It’s cheap to do online at first but you will end up having to pay 4% of your house also. If you need help report the Soliciter to the SRA ( Soliciter Regulatory Authority) if your going through this hell please don’t give up 🙏

This company is a absolute scam not to be trusted keep well away it’s about time these companies who take money from the bereaved get there just rewards and the staff who work for them

Don’t use this service it’s a con they took £14000 out of my husbands estate the money was part of a claim for lung cancer caused by employer

I have been asked to pay £210 for shredding and storing my will. Total scam. Please avoid.

These people are crooks. They do nothing but expect you to pay £600 to retrieve your Will when the person dies in which case they will return the Will but do absolutely nothing to help you.
If you appoint them as executors, they will charge you 4percent of the total money left. They don’t tell you that you don’t need a Will if the amount is less than £30.000.
It is criminal that these people are allowed to intrude on the bereaved. They are con men.

Total scammers. Please avoid at all costs. It seems so cheap and easy to take out a Will with them. The lady on the phone was so sweet, polite and helpful. However, thank goodness i was warned by friends. Unfortunately i had already taken out the Will with them. It has cost me £263 just to cancel the Will , and an immediate court letter as i had not paid it quickly enough.

Rip off they charge extortionate fees plus within there contract the pay there selves 4% of your entire estate
Its just a scam company

Absolutely scandalous company that promise you everything but never tell you about the extortionate fees they charge you for the slightest thing, £182 to shred paper then don't contact you for weeks then the next email is a county court for non payment of an invoice i have never received. Please please please don't use these rip offs.
