A very professional company. Our patio was laid in a day. Steve replied to any questions promptly and kept us informed. His team, led by Wayne were hardworking and polite, A very positive experience all round and the patio looks lovely.

Initially a good job. However we have had multiple issues with cracks in the driveway. With the Oltco team having to come out multiple times to fix. Obviously we now no longer hear from them, after being asked multiple times to “let it settle”. The technical team have no idea what they are talking about. I will most likely have to get my whole driveway redone within 3 years of it being laid. Many better operators out there.

We had a paved drive which Oltco dug up and replaced with a composite surface.
From the selling point to completion the service was exemplary. We changed our minds twice and this was never a problem. Everyone we dealt with, the directors and staff were friendly hardworking and very tidy. We had just had the house painted and there was no damage whatsoever
They offered advice if they thought something could be improved and they were right
We have already recommended them to others, and our neighbours have all commented on how good it looks

We have had an excellent experience with Oltco (Carl’s crew and Lee and his helpers) to do not only our driveway but also our son’s. Both jobs were planned and undertaken to an excellent standard. Nothing was too much trouble and the finished results are fantastic. We liked the fact that recycled materials are also used too!!

Like everyone I left a good review to my new drive on completion but 6 years down the line I will most probably be replacing it soon.
The 20 years guarantee is not really worth the paper it is written on.
I used L.Dorian Ltd based in Colchester and possibly think it was one of the very first he had done.

He did email me asking for me to leave a review which I did as it did look good

I first contacted head office on the 8th August 2023 to raise concerns over the amount of cracks that had started to appear and they said they would arrange for him to inspect it.
My first contact with Liam was at the end of September 2023 however he cancelled his inspection visit 4 times before he eventually arrived to cast his “experienced” eye over it in late January 2024.
After numerous phone calls and messages he finally sent 2 of his team to repair the drive in August 2025 a full 2 years since my initial complaint.
So if you are seriously thinking of having your drive re done I would look elsewhere.
Not sure I would trust them to sit the right way on a toilet.

I cannot praise this company highly enough. From the time John first came to assess the job, to the completion of our new driveway, everything was done with professionalism and care. Everything was explained clearly, and all our questions were answered immediately, which gave us the confidence to approve the project when we received a quote within a matter of hours.
The team (John, Dale and Gaz) were all very respectful, courteous and friendly while working at our property. They worked on one of the hottest days of the year so far in 26 degree heat, returning at 6.00a.m. the following morning to complete the driveway before it got even hotter! Their attention to detail was appreciated, including covering some old concrete steps and an upstand along the bottom of our porch wall, all of which contributed to a finished driveway with which we are delighted.
It is only 3 days since the drive was completed and we have already had a number of people stop to look at it. All were complimentary and said how good it looked.
Although this was not by any means a cheap project, it was one which, because of the end result, we feel gave us value for money. We would have no hesitation in recommending Oltco to any potential customers and told John that he could use our property in any advertising if he wished. We would also be happy to have anyone considering a new driveway to visit and view the product.

We had a fantastic experience with Oltco. Our driveway was in need of an update, and we could not be happier with the outcome. From initial contact, to a site visit and then finishing with the install we were thoroughly impressed. Installation team were brilliant, explaining everything we needed, and ensuring that we were left with a driveway to be proud of!

Fantastic service and first class install for my drive. So good I’ve just had them back to complete my patio in my back garden.

- The head of the Bournemouth franchise asked me twice to delete this review.
- I am now following a legal process to resolve this.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The finished driveway looks fantastic, but getting there was an exhausting and frustrating experience.

R (Bournemouth franchise) initially surveyed the project and I clearly explained what I wanted: removal of the hedge, widening the driveway entrance, removing the flower bed to increase parking space, and eliminating ongoing weed issues. Oltco wasn’t the cheapest quote, but I chose them because I believed the attention to detail would justify the premium.

Prior to the project starting, the head of the Bournemouth franchise informed me he would be taking over the project from the original site inspector.

Day one was chaotic. Contractors arrived with no manager on site. One spoke no English and the other very little, so I had to repeatedly explain the scope of the work myself. That same afternoon, they either caused or exposed damage to the water main. Despite water pouring out, they continued digging with the JCB.

Unfortunately, the lack of supervision continued throughout. The contractors constantly interrupted my working day with questions because they hadn’t been properly briefed. I work from home, otherwise, this would have been impossible to manage.

I also had to repeatedly explain that the hedge was to be fully removed, as only half had initially been dug out. When the head of the Bournemouth franchise visited, he appeared unfamiliar with the agreed scope and even suggested creating a new flower bed, seemingly to reduce resin costs, despite this being the exact opposite of what I had requested. He admitted he should have carried out his own site survey when taking over the project, but later made it worse by saying he was too busy to bother...

When the groundworks were supposedly complete, I withheld the next payment instalment until multiple issues were addressed: poorly finished cement edging, rubbish left behind, a white stain on my wall, and jagged wooden posts left exposed.

Some issues were never properly resolved. Fence panels were installed inside my boundary rather than on it, and a rose tree was unnecessarily removed because the contractors didn’t understand where the property line was.

For a project costing over £20,000, this was nowhere near the level of professionalism, organisation, or communication I expected.

From start to finish they have been superb. Kristian gave us the quote in a polite, friendly and efficient manner. The installation took two full days and the four installers were superb - friendly, polite, courteous and they just got on with the job with no idle chatter, which seems to be the norm these days!! If I could give them ten stars I would. I can’t fault the office staff either. The 20 year guarantee is a great incentive but everything looks so good hopefully I won’t need to use it. Well done to all at Oltco Service such as yours is very rare now.

I recently had my garden transformed with Oltco and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. I had no back gate, so materials had to be carried through house. With this in mind, the carpet was protected and I was impressed with the care taken to keep it tidy. The resin is a beautiful finish. I would highly recommend Oltco. What a transformation 👏 Thank you to Scott and his team.

Well they did ask for a review... Generally an all round traumatic and incredibly expensive experience, far too many issues to list all starting with the inexperienced sales proposal that increased day 1 into the job. Ultimately you are not dealing with Oltco. You're dealing with a franchise who subsequently sub-contract the work to local trades. The drive resembles the surface of the moon (with installer footprints). I'd suggest researching and instructing a locally experienced company. Despite complaints direct to Oltco they just point you to their guarantee and advise the finish is within their tolerances, which sadly doesn't cover the overall finish / quality of the drive just the structural integrity.

UPDATE: Appreciate the Marketing response from Oltco to attempt to put them in the best light but this is just factually inaccurate. Anyone reading this I suggest just take note of the volume of 1 star reviews... we can't all be wrong.
