Ordered a material on July 8, today is July 21 now, I still cannot have a tracking number, and material not show up.

Called and chatted and emailed, was told material was shipped on July 16, but today when I am asking, was told material was shipped on July 20, which is yesterday, but still no tracking number.

This is my first time to use OnlineMetals, very disappointed the service, if you are a hobbyist, it's fine to wait, but we are a professional CNC machine shop, the project is delayed now.

Make sure you can wait for a long time, otherwise, choose a local or McMaster, though they may a little expensive.

I've found the selection and organization of inventory very practical to order from.
The prices seem to be competitive and shipping is fair.

Dishonest with pricing, invoices items that have not shipped, does not post payments received and withholds orders. Horrible to work with. Not worth dealing with these people.

My most recent order with OnlineMetals is late, and of unknown status. I've callled them, they said it will ship the next day, they said they would update the order status on their website, then... nothing. I've contacted them through their site .... nothing. I have no idea if they will ship anything. My project is sitting waiting for the materials they promised for weeks ago that were paid for weeks ago.

The item I purchased didn’t have any type of protection when I picked it up.

Order was easy to place, got processed immediately, shipped next day ( order wasn’t very big) but just as important as any order as I’m a small business owner. Showed up just a couple days later. They say what they will and are doing, then they do it! I will continue to do much more business with Online Metals
