No order. No refund.
I ordered two large birthday cakes in time for a party.
On the scheduled delivery day, only one cake arrived (and they are btw minuscule. Don’t expect them to feed the 20 they claim).
I called the company party pieces or teddy tastic or whatever they go by, who told me they gave both cakes to DPD so tough luck.
Of course we never received the second cake. Maybe the driver enjoyed it.
I have still not heard anything from this incompetent business, let alone did they refund me the 30£ they charge for this tiny cakes.
I would not recommend relying on them.
Badly let down
Very disappointed! Ordered a photo cake with 6 images for my daughters 30th birthday. They phoned the day before to say their printing machine had broken down and they could offer a partial refund and cake with no photos. I said OK, but what arrived was a misshapen cake with no birthday wishes on it and soggy icing which had stuck to the cardboard packing. I'm not sure how much they may refund but my wife is absolutely furious and to say that I am disappointed is an understatement.
Poor service
Poor service. Ordered next day delivery for an urgent delivery for my little girl’s first birthday party. Items didn’t arrive and when I phoned up, they asked the warehouse and informed me that one of the items was out of stock and still suggested sending remaining items even though they wouldn’t reach me in time. No apologies, no explanation as to why their website wasn’t up to date or why they hadn’t bothered to contact me about out of stock items. It would seem they weren’t even going to send anything to me!!!
Terrible service
Terrible service. Slow delivery - missed my party . No response to emails . No response to request for returns number and can’t return items without this. Very disappointing.

I ordered a balloon for delivery on a specific date, which arrived deflated. It was personalised so the writing was shrivelled. Even the smaller balloons were shrivelled.

If I could give zero stars I would. I spent approx £80 on balloons and decorations for my son's 30th birthday party. I paid £6.95 delivery for these to be delivered the day before to ensure I received them in time to decorate the room. My contract with Party Pieces starts from when I place an order till when I receive the goods. This also a time sensitive order. Time is of the essence which means that time has value. Despite speaking to 2 separate members of staff their attitude seemed to be that it was DPD fault and if I wanted any refunds I was to email and they would investigate. No offer to actually resolve my issue. I then spent another 30 minutes trying to speak to someone at DPD who confirmed it was not being delivered today.
I am so furious and upset about this. Their whole business model is about party decorations be that for birthdays, weddings, christenings etc. These are all time sensitive occasions. So when they ask on their website when you would like the decorations to be delivered the date that is provided is important and shouldnt be missed.
Things go wrong but I am have experienced very poor customer service. I would not recommend using this company for your special occasion. They will let you down and do nothing to help you and resolve it.

Bubble balloon for Father’s Day
Bubble balloon for Father’s Day, I only read the reviews that some balloons were either not delivered or arrived deflated after I had purchased so was really nervous what was going to happen; but to be fair our balloon arrived exactly on the date ordered and looks just like on the website, so really pleased thank you.
I was going to put an image up but can’t see where to attach but it does look great, blue gold and white mini balloons with gold personalised message on a large bubble balloon.

Website let me order a cookie for delivery 2 weeks in advance. took my money then informed me the website was wrong and that date wasn’t available. 6 weeks to refund me despite numerous chases. Terrible
The balloon never came
The balloon never came. I ordered a 40£ balloon for my son’s christening. The balloon to be the main decoration and the pictures background as it was with personalised text. I had improvise and decorate last minute as balloon didn’t came on the date which gave me just more stress. I would recommend to order from Moonpig or different company if you don’t want to be let down.
Terrible product, terrible service!
It was the first time I’d used party pieces and I wanted to surprise my sister who was coming back from Australia with an inflatable welcome home balloon. The balloon arrived and it wasn’t even inflated properly and as a result the writing was all scrunched together. It was a £40 balloon! I have contacted them twice to complain and haven’t heard anything back. Terrible product and terrible customer service!
Extremely disappointed with my recent…
Extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Party Pieces. I've been a loyal customer for 16 years, consistently relying on them for my daughters' birthdays. However, this time around, the quality was shockingly poor. It appears there may have been a change in management, and it's had a detrimental effect on their products.
I purchased the balloon arch, a staple for our celebrations, only to find that the tape provided had been substituted with flimsy paper that kept tearing. Despite resorting to using Scotch tape to reinforce it, the nightmare continued when the balloons began deflating the next day.
I promptly lodged a complaint with Party Pieces, but it's been a month with no response. The lack of acknowledgment or resolution is unacceptable. Sadly, this experience has tarnished my trust in their brand, and I will not be purchasing from them again.
Very disappointing and money wasted!
I was incredibly disappointed with this service. I ordered some balloons to be delivered to a hotel on my partners 30th Birthday, however they were delivered to the incorrect address. The hotel were incredibly generous and collected the order from the address it had been delivered to (not to ruin the surprise), however this was only half of the ordered. The second half of the order has apparently been delivered but again, this must have been to an incorrect address (if at all).
The communication via email with the company has been very slow and painful. I am very disappointed as the products and order was not cheap but I felt worth it, given their website. I would not trust them with another order.
Nothing delivered, no reply from Customer Service
Ordered a set of personalised banners and balloons for a birthday party over a month before they were needed. Two days before before delivery I had an email saying their online shop had lost the personalisation. They then went silent. No reply from my email or two answer machine messages (as they didn't answer the phone on multiple occasions).
Party has been and gone with no balloons or banners and no reply to my request for a refund.
Shocking service
80th birthday cake
Ordered a cake for my mums 80th birthday. Arrived on time however the image wasn’t even straight, very noticeable. There was also black ink spots all over the happy birthday part. Emailed and still no response

I ordered 3 sets of bubble balloons for a 40th party and upon arrival, one of the sets were damaged - deflated and unusable. I immediately took photos, emailed customer services and as they were unable to get me a replacement for the next day for the parry, confirmed a full refund for the damaged item. That was on 8th January 2024. Since then I've had to call numerous times to chase up the refund. A week after confirming the refund, no money back or emails etc. They confirmed on the phone it would be sorted and would email me to confirm. No email or reply received, I chased again a week later and they said it has been processed but can take up to 10 days. 10 days later, still no refund so chased and customer services has said its been processed but they don't know why its taking so long but it could be my bank. Its not my bank as I've had refunds through over the last few days.
They're not exactly cheap party products so considering the immediate flag for a damaged unusable piece, i don't expect to still be chasing a refund almost a month later!!
Not impressed
Not impressed. Ordered and emailed with a simple request regarding colouring of lettering. Response back to say all in hand, balloon arrived with wrong colour lettering on it despite request confirmed. Emailed but no response.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I brought an 80th personalised balloon for my dad. When it arrived the star and 8 were already half deflated and looked terrible. I couldn't use them - what a complete waste of money and I was left with no balloon on what should have been a special day. I have contacted them twice for a response and refund and they just ignore me.
CAKE DID NOT ARRIVE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I ordered a personalised birthday cake for my friends surprise party. I ordered it on the 5th January and paid extra to have it delivered on the 16th January. I booked leave so I would be at home to receive it. When it hadn’t arrived by 3pm I sent an email to party pieces but did not receive a reply. I sent a second stil no reply. I telephoned them and was told I was second in line and had a wait time of 7 mins . This went down to 1 min then escalated back up to 7 mins. They closed at 4. This morning I’m currently 1 st in line but have her waiting for 21 mins. My order status says unfulfilled but no one has contacted me and they are impossible to get hold of. This is absolutely disgusting customer service. I would definitely not use this company to purchase anything and I will now have to try and buy a cake before tonight’s party . I paid in full for the cake 12 days ago and I am now trying to get through to them for a refund . I do not recommend this company and when I tell all the guests tonight what has happened I’m quite sure that they will all leaving negative reviews too

Do not purchase any goods from these people you will not get your order! I have just spent two days waiting for over 30 mins and more, to get through on the phone, after sending three customer enquiry emails, that never got answered. To find out and be told its my fault for not answering an email from them, to confirm a date of delivery (goods was order 28th Dec). Which I have never received and I also requested the date of delivery on their website when ordering! I paid next day delivery (bit of a clue there) I have now been told that l can't have a refund! Only a credit note to buy something else, well first of all we'll see if l get the email! And then we will see if we get any orders delivered. I am not holding my breath! Please order from else where, they will only ruin your party, and take your money.
